"Your first priority is to protect me. You are my Vanguard."
Raven stared at the spot along the stairwell that Lucas had just vanished through. In the dim lighting of the stairwell, there was no look of shocked surprise. She had not been oblivious in the split second that it only clung to Lucas. She could feel a deep seated anger welling up. She thought back to the conversation she had had about his unexpected ruling, and how even people within the borders of the celestial realm they protected did not want him in his position.
The ring seemed to hum, even in the silence of the stairwell. For a moment, the only thing Raven could process was that she had failed. She stared at the ring for some time before her lips tightened, her features hardened by the underlying current of anger she felt. First Wyndom. Now Lucas himself. She had nearly not made it to save Kira from a killing shot. She was a Panther without her Snake. What does a warrior do when the driver that gives haste to their chariot disappears?
They abandon the chariot to press on with fighting.
The effect of the Second Skin was long gone. Raven could not tune in to the fighting that was taking place elsewhere. She needed to See. Lurching to her feet, she stumbled down the stairs and stooped to snatch the ring, slipping it onto the right ring finger.
'If anyone can hear me,' She turned her focus to the ring, using her Will to communicate to whoever could hear her, 'We're in a lot of trouble.'

Sabriel Megalith [ RATS Office Building > The "Inbetween" Space ] Seeing Citel’s expression at her mention of Réimse Sí she scowled at him. ”You’ll catch flies with your mouth open like that.” Reaching behind her, she fingered the end of her braid thoughtfully. This guy could almost pass as Krimson’s identical twin in the personality stakes and here she had been thinking that only one mad scientist in her life was enough… Now she had two! There was no way that this guy could replicate the unique insanity that she constantly faced around the Megalith’s top geek, however she had a funny feeling that things were possibly going to be just as interesting. Even if she still didn’t know his name yet.
The news about this realm she had once called “home” and its steady decay though, was what really pricked up her ears over Citel’s babble about this and that. (In Sabriel’s eyes a grappling hook in a place fantasized by many to be made of clouds was a silly idea anyway) ”I hate to admit it, but between the two of us sir, you are the only one without powers. While they are generally considered useless in a combat scenario, I have powers that should I require them, I am fully capable of calling upon.” Sweeping a stray strand of hair behind one ear, she blinked placidly at Citel. It seemed that not just the angel’s had fallen from the memories of humans. Judging by his reaction to her admission of coming from the realm of the fey folk, fairies too appeared long forgotten. Just how many of the races she was once proud to call “friends” or even “family” still existed in human eyes? Maybe if she and Citel did end up lost, she would be able to give him a history of the world as she knew it, even though her own accounts may differ from others.
Pursing her lips at Citel’s bow, Sabriel swept gracefully towards the portal. Krimson had once given her a similar explanation behind portal mechanics, but she was just as uninterested in that speech as she was with this current one. Right now, there were two more important things on her mind anyway. The first: Not yelling at Citel for bowing at her. She’d had more than enough bowing and scraping to last her a further two years… Or however long it took for her to get back to Réimse Sí The second: She was worried that if faced with her turning up unannounced and uninvited on his doorstep, Lucas would make her turn around and head straight back to Réimse Sí. Stepping into the rippling surface, she shivered slightly, voluntarily giving herself over to the strange feeling of being pushed and pulled through the space that existed between all of the different realms.

'If anyone can hear me, we're in a lot of trouble.'
The voice echoed in Wyndom's mind...
"Raven? What's going on...hard to talk..trapped."
...Wyndom was finding it increasingly difficult to fight against Alexandria's spell, mostly due to the fact that...he didn't want to! It was a cunning trap, but hopefully Raven could get to them in time. Unfortunately they didn't appear to be in a cathedral anymore...Wyndom would guess they were in a completely different realm, but his speculation was 50/50 at best. There seemed to be no chance to escape until after they were released from this strange state, so he would bide his time patiently, waiting for the correct moment to strike back.

[Location: Heaven's Realm - St. Anne - Outskirts] Shortly after Sabriel emerged from the portal, Citel would join her...instantly sucking in air and resisting the urge to puke.
"What a ride...huh?"
Nothing else would be said from Citel as he gazed around him at Heaven's realm. They had made it! In front of them lay the city of St. Anne, although Citel didn't know the name...name..right! "My name is Citel - by the way." he would say sheepishly, expecting her name in return.
Since he could see the warriors guild ahead of him, Citel would begin making his way towards that, and soon enough, if Sabriel decided to follow, they would reach it. Two angels stood blocking the entrance, and it appeared there was a large man, roughly 6'5 or 6'6, who had just arrived as well, towing along several other angels with him. Heaven seemed to be a busier place than Citel imagined, perhaps it would be easier to get access after all.

"Halt! What brings you to this realm?"
The two guards lowered their pikes, causing Samuel to stop, as well as Citel and Sabriel. They were not speaking to Samuel, he was known to them. The celestial meant the outsiders traversing shortly behind him. They would need to give a reason as to why they were there.

Citel would look over at Sabriel...

Sabriel Megalith [ The "Inbetween" Space > Gates of St Anne's ] Unlike Citel, Sabriel was used to traveling through portals, so she stepped out of the other side as cool, calm and collected as if she'd simply walked through a door. Glancing up at him, she blinked twice, her expression obviously unperturbed by their trip. Finally extracting a name from her accomplice, Sabriel offered her own up in return "Sabriel" Okay, so it wasn't her full name. She was only going to use that when it was really needed… Like if it was demanded from her.
Glancing at the solidly built man trudging towards the gate and then towards the guards, a small groan escaped her lips. Once upon a time she'd been used to constantly looking skywards just so she could have a decent conversation with someone. That of course had been two years by her reckoning, and many many more by the human realms. It seemed almost inevitable that by the end of the day she was going to require a decent neck massage, or at the very least resort to her old trick of hovering.
Sabriel bit the inside of her cheek as the guards ordered them to stop. Where Citel had been imagining that he could waltz straight into Heaven, the young fairy had been assuming that there was going to be plenty of hoops that she would have to jump through, simply to get through the gate alone. I'm here seeking the imperfect angel Lucas." She announced her purpose in as clear a voice as possibly could. Shooting a glance at Citel she sighed, she was probably going to have to answer for him as well considering how he was looking at her. "As for him… He's simply along for the ride."

Samuel D. Tyson Location: Front of the Guild Status: Calm
The large black Devil would turn back, his ominious eyes scanning over the two newcomers with a solid gaze. His firm frame holding steady as the Angelic Gaurds looked beyond him and to the new comers. He was known here, for better or worse his name was written in the halls of Heaven. But these two were defiantly new too him, and so he did not intervene. He stepped back and away, not daring to interfer with the Gaurds work.
His last trip to Heaven and the incident surrrounding it was not favored by many. 6 Angels had died, at his hands for reasons that were kept with in closed doors. Needless to say he was unsure if he was welcome but he would not idly stand by as the world fell into madness, he had to try and help.
Though the incident was never publicly stated, Samuel had been attacked by a small group of elite Angels. His old team mates, commrades in arms who he had killed one by one in the name of his own survival. He had un-covered a corruption and ended it, but for his actions he had been isolated from most of the angelic society. He was not favored because of his Devil origins, he could only guess at how most of the Angels felt about him now.
And so he stayed back, watching carefully to ensure those Holy Spears did not turn on him.....

A fist slammed into the old brick wall and Raven grit her teeth. She had searched through her memory archives. Lucas had given Wyndom the list of relics to search for. If she wanted to find the Virtue, she needed to get back to him. He was trapped--no different than Lucas and she had been, she believed. Kira was nowhere to be felt. It were as though they had been purposefully divided up and kept away from one another.
Alone you are stronger.
The words echoed in her mind. She hated those words; they were only true when she had sunk into the deepest pit of her despair and anger. Raven was not that weak. Raven abruptly turned and nimbly scaled the stairs until she came to the gaping hole Light had created. She smiled to herself, having unconsciously called him Light. Old habits died hard, even for the Hyoujin. Pacing from left to right in the stairwell, Raven's gaze roamed the pattern of the walls. Up, then down. Left, right, then up again. Instead, her left eye was casting projections, speed, and trajectories for a complicated maneuver that only she could see. Celestial that she were, a small part of her was still an evolving machine. Still, she could find no physically feasible way to backtrack.
She would place herself by a smaller piece of the fallen ceiling. Gingerly stepping onto it, Raven shook her hands out, taking a nervous moment to collect herself. Using this much energy could be detrimental, and she had no one to look after her. For Lucas and Wyndom this was necessary, and after a series of long, calming breathes, Raven emptied her mind of everything save for the piece of ceiling she stood on, and how weightless she was on top of it. She absorbed the contours, the length, width, height, and depth to the object. She visualized its color: a soft shale grey-blue, brown and brick-like on its bottom side. She could vividly picture the pattern, the coat of dust from its descent and impact on the stairwell. Every minute detail coming together to form the same piece Raven stood on.
Up.
Very carefully, in a rickety manner that would have otherwise made Raven nervous, the stone piece began to rise up. Raven could not afford to lose sight of her objective. She wanted the object to take her up. The strain on her mind felt like white star bursts of pain. Her visage was devoid of emotion, the often empty look she gave if she was mentally hooked onto accomplishing something that involved the extensive use of Psychokinesis. She was less than half way there when she felt the blood seep from her nose. Raven had to block it out. She had to block out any distraction or she would plummet straight back down and worse damage would be added.
Steadily rising up, Raven began to tremble. She would not be able to hold onto a connection for much longer, or she was certain blood would burst from her eyes. She had almost reached the rest of the untouched ceiling when she let go, gravity naturally taking over the fallen piece and she began to fall. Lunging off, she grabbed the ledge of the ceiling Lucas had broken and hauled herself with a soft grunt, rolling herself and swinging a leg up to crawl over. Now she was back to an empty Ante-chamber.
Stumbling to the double-doors she and Lucas had once came through she barreled through them, pushing them open with all of the strength, and took off running between them. If Guards had been to her back, they'd be hard-pressed to follow her as the doors even opening from within distracted them.
---
The stained glass windows were a colorful blur as she ran past. Her breath was ragged, the fight was pressing on her, the over-use of Psychokinesis made it difficult to focus. The Cathedral was too large for her tastes, expanding into what seemed an awe-inspiring eternity. Her lungs were on fire, but Raven did not stop. The heels of her boots echoes off marble floors, wooden planks, bouncing on and on and on around the walls, every nook and cranny sound could reverberate. If there were enemies afoot, they would have no trouble finding her, and Raven would have no patience to deal with them. Beyond rows and rows of pews, she almost burst through into another room, ready to give a hopeful cry that could be heard by who she sought.
"WYN--!"
Raven immediately clung to the door's frame, not advancing any further. What had driven her to halt was the fact that the room was practically an indoor Garden. The fact that a group of fallen Soldiers was an indication of a fight. Celestial magic was wafting all through the air, an over-sweet scent to Raven's bleeding nose. Everything was wrong, all wrong. Everything had unraveled so swiftly that the idea of collecting the Virtues was an evanescent one. Quiet, obedient Raven was gone at this point.
Already the black, leather armor suit was fading away in a soft-glowing light, replaced by her trekking gear, the outfit she was most comfortable in moving in. Raven felt more secure, feeling the knee-high boots, the twin dirks sheathed within the scabbards along her back. The long, red surcoat with its whimsical vine-like motif stitching. Naga, her favored weapon pooled into existence within her right hand, gripped by the gloved palms as her bare fingers were coiling along the Mahogany shaft where she was prepared to launch into a fight. The golden ring was hidden beneath the fringe of the glove, still upon her finger. Blood and perspiration smeared her face, but her features were fierce and demeanor stalwart.
In the back of her mind, the idea of an illusion being cast is what came to mind. Where was the source? The green and gold-flecked irises were over-taken by the broad pupil, taking in the scene that was unfolding.

Negi would start to move forward towards the fight, but something came over him. The cathedral would change all together as the plants would begin to grow. For some reason the summoners feelings would begin to change, and he would come to a halt. He did not care about fighting, and he became more relaxed. However, it struck one of his nerves that irked him extensively. The fact that he did not feel angry about having an explosion go off right in front of him got to him. What had come over him? He had no clue what was going on. What kind of spell had been cast? Its one thing to freeze someone where they stand but its another to manipulate their feelings.
"What is going on?"
He wanted to know if this spell was on him, or if it was a area effect. As he waited for a response from the others, the summoner would begin to take a seat on the ground. Once he was on the ground he would bring his hands together and meditate. Why though? Why complicate things by trying to fight a spell that has already taken its toll. Concentrating his breathing seemed like a better solution worrying about the spell. As he would meditate Negi would widen his feel of his surroundings, and taking advantage of his elemental power over earth, so it would be hard to sneak up on him. As he meditated he would begin to say a chant.
"From the pits of the inferno. Come to me my titan..."

Looking the fairy over, followed by Citel, the guards would remain silent as they seemed to be gleaning information off the travelers appearances. Finally they would speak.
"He is currently away at the moment, but your best bet would be to go to the Guild Office and see if someone there can help you."
"Welcome to St. Anne."
Raising their pikes with a smile, the Celestial warriors stepped to the side and returned to their former positions. They allowed the group of people to pass, including Samuel and company, and then continued to watch diligently over the Realm...

[Location: Heaven's Realm - St. Anne - Warriors Guild] Citel would be the first to cross between the two Celestials, entering into the city of St. Anne. The Guild was the first building to be seen on the other side of the courtyard, and so Citel would begin making his way over there. The entire time he had a smile plastered on his face, and he kept swinging his head from side to side, taking in the views. The fountain, the people, the scenery, the grass, the sky..everything. His seemed to hum with energy, and one might wonder the last time he had even been outdoors by the way he was soaking in the sights.
At least reaching the front door, he would slowly pull it open, revealing a large lounge area, and a front desk that was hardly noticed in comparison with the board behind it. Stretching almost all the way to the ceiling was some sort of quest board. Various papers where pinned to it, and it was kept very orderly. An elder celestial behind the desk looked up at them, and his battle worn features cracked into a small smile. He would remain quiet until addressed.

Kain could feel it - there was a spell of some sort that came with the change of scenery. Somehow the woman had changed the scenery to that of a garden, but it wasn't just within the realm of the room. He was new to this sort of thing, and thus had no clue what was happening. All he knew was that his lust for battle was slowly diminishing and he could feel his muscles relaxing, his grip on his crystalline pillar loosening. "NO!"
He screamed at the top of his lungs, smashing his free hand against his chest as a fist and swinging the hefty pillar against the ground. However, this didn't help give him any adrenaline or anger to resist the situation. The pillar slipped from his finger - his grip finally too weak to hold onto it - it came crashing down hard, sending flowers, dirt, and grass in all directions as it dug itself into the ground.
He fell to his knees beside it as he lost the will to even keep standing, and sprawled out ontop of the pillar. "Coward"
Avery, on the other hand, though not like the rest of them at all, was still effected and practically came down next to Kain without a fight or a word. To be frank: uneventfully.

Sabriel Megalith [ Gates of St Anne > Warriors Guild ] Sabriel stood proudly as the guards looked her over. It would have been hard for her to appear threatening considering that she was dressed in a sundress that had a tight fitting bodice, black tights and shoes that went by the style name "ballerina flats." All and all, not a very good combination for hiding weapons on her person. Of course, while her weapons weren't on her person, they were still near her. In two specially designed pockets at either end of her healers kit, there was a silver fan in each, one called Avalanche, the other Blizzard. To add to her fans, located somewhere in her accompanying bag of stuff there were two daggers. While both had rubies at the top of the handle, each were slightly different in design. The first one, Faith had been the dagger she'd received on her initiation to the Megalith Assassins and the second, Honor she'd been given when her brother had died and the throne of the Megalith Monarchy had then fallen to her. If her fans and daggers weren't enough, her healers kit had a variety of things that could heal just as well as they could harm, along with some fabric wrapped balls that were full of a strange grey-ish white powder that she could throw at anyone who opposed her. However, if all of the above failed to help her, she could still fall back on her magic, even though she struggled to use it effectively in combat situations.
Smiling at the guards as they welcomed her and Citel into the city, she dropped into a polite curtsy. "Many thanks Guardians of St Anne. We will make our way their immediately." Following after Citel, she watched him with amusement as his head moved from sight to sight with such speed that it looked like it was soon going to spin off of his neck. Walking into the Warriors Guild, the petite fairy felt a sudden pang of homesickness for the Megalith Castle. Maybe she should of travelled there before making her way to Rosewood… Let Krimson and the gang know she was back in case something happened… But then again, with the amount of time that seemed to have passed since the day she'd returned to the fairy realm until today were they still alive? Was the Megalith still intact? Her breath caught in her throat and she fumbled with one hand to clasp the snowflake shaped pendant at her throat. She couldn't think like that! There would always be a Megalith Assassins and as long as she was their Queen there was no reason for it to disappear off the face of the Earth. She could always recruit more members right? But what if she couldn't? Then what? She'd be left as a Queen without a Kingdom… Without people to rule and care for… Was the room spinning or was it just her? Staggering slightly, she dropped her bags where she stood halfway between the door and the elder celestial's desk. "Citel… Help?" Fainting was a bad idea… Fainting was what the air-headed ladies of her parent's court did when wanting attention and she wasn't like that at all! Fainting would cause a scene and she HATED causing a scene with passion… Unless it was to completely embarrass someone other than herself and then it was a different matter entirely. Breathing on the other hand was a good idea. Maybe she should stop thinking about fainting and the Megalith and start breathing again? … But then… What about the likes of Aletta? Kira? Discord? Luna? MG? What about all of them? They were her friends too, why hadn't she been worried about their health as well. They were as much her family as the Megalith and her own parents were. How come she hadn't thought of them before? Forgetting about the need to breath as she panicked over the idea of fainting and all of the thoughts rushing through her head, she stumbled again, this time into her bags and of course, once she'd started falling, there was no stopping the ground rushing up to meet her. "Scene caused. Mission failed. Sabriel you're an idiot." Came her own voice inside her head.

Samuel D. Tyson Location: Guild Main hall Status: Calm
The tiny one fell not to a cold floor but strong arms, a large pair of black devil hands that stopped her mid fall. He was unsure of her condition or why she had suddenly began to stagger but he was there to brace her descent into blackness.
He had been allowed to enter and so he had, silently moving past the Angelic Guardians who had eyed him sternly. He had a feeling orders from higher up where his saving grace, and that alone. Now as he walked into the main hall following the new comers he found himself being in the center of attention. Several of the Angels who had been following him outside had come in, the rest had dispersed, but his presence now in the main entrance way had gathered a small crowd of ten or so Angelic beings of all different descents. Most notable was the old Guardian behind the desk who stood up so fast his chair was knocked over. His muscles tightened at first to rush and aid the fairy no doubt, but now his old hands formed fists as his old eyes looked over Samuel.
He gazed at Samuel like a hunter at a monster, his stance strong and fierce, ready to leap over that desk and gut what stood before him. His voice rumbling and low as he lowered his gaze and spat his words at Samuel.
Old Angel: "How DARE you show your face here....."Samuel said no words, he simply stood there, a silent monolith of darkness among the glistening white of heaven. He was the very darkness they all had somewhere in their hearts and he reminded them of all their weakness. He simply looked down at the fairy before him, afraid of her reaction when she came too. Samuel was a big man, black skin, thousands of scars and a pair of white pale eyes like that of the dead. He was not exactly handsome or a knight in shining armor...he was the embodiment of hatred people kept in the darkest part of their hearts.

Takehitsu was rather close now his dragon lifted him and gave him a tossing boost so he could fall down upon the spiders from the air. This would be an advantageous point as the spiders weakest point was above them. As he fell it appeared one of the spiders was frozen by the strange girls ice magic. The male seemed to kick another one off of him after doing something to it although the kick didn't seem to make it go half as for as he wanted it too. This was likely due to the fact that ghantak was a lot heavier than the person would have realized. Regardless it exploded which ruined Takehitsu's view of that side of the fight. However a quick sling of his left wrist and two round blade explosive knives were thrown into the two still approaching the girl. They would explode and if she was too close the explosion would probably throw her. They weren't small explosions after all.
Takehitsu rotated himself and rocket boosted himself into the smoke of the spider that was destroyed by the strange mans unknown attack. Takehitsu did not see it so it didn't help much. He landed behind the head of the man who threw the spider. He was roughly four feet away and he noted the other two spiders were in mid jump toward the man. Takehitsu was not moving at his human speed or he would not be able to deal with the spiders. They were his problem after all. He lounged quickly over the man his two katanas again in his hands almost instantly. The two spiders fell in halves behind him without making it to their destinations. These halves did not explode though. Takehitsu saw the others pinned. As a courtesy he would let the other man finish them off but he wasn't sure if they would attack as of yet.
The gigantic ghantak dragon swooped in a circle a few times and landed about 50 feet on the other side of Takehitsu from the other two. It seemed docile for the moment but it had a purpose and it was just waiting at the moment.
OOC: sorry this took me so long busy.
