Whoa, I have a Flying team... I forgot about this.. Jk, but I figure I'm in 5h place (technically 4th, as two above me are Water, so only one gets a place), so I can just take it easy and be lazy. As long as I maintain in top 8, I'll get a spot, as soon as this ends, right? (I know, I know, that's terrible and could end up with me losing if I don't keep a watchful eye, but I'm in 4th and I've kept a 1:1 ratio of wins to losses, so I'm fine for now.)

I'll admit, I have not been active, but maybe if my girlfriend weren't so freaking awesome, I'd have more time to waste on you guys. Lol, but nah, I've been chilling in the serebii wifi chat hooking up some standard battles recently. If you see me in there, I'll be Archolite, but tell me who you are, or change your name in the box in the bottom-right corner. Just type in something that I'll recognize. Like, I don't even know Kai Inuzuka like at all, but I'd recognize his name from Gaia. He just has a cool name, If only Flame_Haze would get a less stupid name. I swear, if someone messages me by some ridiculously stupid name, I'd just know immediately it's that guy. Oh, and if anyone actually gets on there, you can double click a name in the chat or the list of people in the chat to PM them. Fun stuff. Though, I'm not in there that much, so w/e. I'm gonna head in there now though, if anyone is on here. Feel free to say hey. I'm bored.. Like that one time, I saw A, B, Up, Start on PO and acted like we were lovers. XD Fun stuff...

@Kyren, you're such a douche for playing a Fire team and placing. *Prepares for noob comment for losing to a Fire team* If only I had actually put in happiness for Return (I'm so not ever getting over that)... That should be against the rules though. "Fire Teams cannot place higher than 9th place Clause". Cormini should totally add that to the list of clauses. Didn't you know it's a new Standard rule for Mono tourneys? XD Nah, trolling aside, he's probably the best for making it work. Sure, lots of us know our type pretty well, but he used a Fire team. I think he wins. Maybe a "Fire Teams that actually get a win, get first place Clause". XD

Haha, well played. It was actually late game at that point, I had 3 to your 3 actually on the turn before I used Return, your at half HP.. Both scarfed, in which I was faster, and failed to KO, while locking myself into Return. One of yours was , and one other, in which my would have done plenty of damage to. Even it was scarfed, it only would have forced a speed tie, which could go either way. I had sitting at full HP with eviolite. His only attacking move being EQ, which I do remember your other was not immune to, unless it held Air Ballon. So, that misplay of mine did indeed cost me the game. could wall most any of them, since he was sitting at 272 HP (232 after SR, though, I'm pretty sure you didn't have it up), 618 Defense, and 502 Sp. Def (accounting for Eviolite). Not sure about the other set you were running on the other poke, but once you switch in , even a Specs Max Special Attack Modest's Fire Blast in the sun is only a 2HKO. You likely wouldn't have switched in unless it was Scarfed, to , as I'd just pick it off with another Return. So your only hope was from a scarf assuming you're running a Timid, though, if you run Modest a speed tie would have been your only hope (as I do run Adamant). No scarf, and it was sealed. Even with the Scarf, my could pick off , provided it doesn't have to switch in, in which case, it wouldn't. So unless that last poke you had could beat one on one (not likely btw, as I do remember EQ being super effective on it), and you did have the Scarf in which you did outrun , (which would give you two Scarf pokes. Bad idea for your team in particular, and anyone's at all), and a certain move was not set up, so I had a win any way you look at it.

So recap, you would have lost right there, as Return will always KO at half HP. You would have to switch in first, in which case it would have to be Scarfed and either Timid, or win the speed tie, as I was an Adamant nature. Also, a scarf in general is only a 3HKO, regardless of nature on . If you were Specs'd you simply would have been picked off by .

The other poke, while not being sure of what exactly it was, I am sure it was weak to EQ, so should you switch it in, if I thought i couldn't beat with one Return I would have foddered out , as it only had around 15% HP, give or take. So once he's foddered out, I could safely switch in , and beat it one-on-one. Then would switch in, and get OHKO'd by EQ.

The was inevitably dead, if I had just put in the happiness, as well as the last two. I didn't, so that's my own mistake. But had I, the game was mine. I looked this stuff up then and determined this, and then refreshed my mind with the damage calcs I ran just now, and I did indeed have the game. No matter though, you're a very good player all-in-all, so even having such a close victory for me, is enough for me. Though, it kills me inside to know I lost a tournament match due to this. Still, I'm placing in 4th atm, so I'm not too worried. xp
