Luna sighed, that didn't help at all. He could go to bed whenever he wanted, although maybe he just wanted to talk, or someone to be around. He didn't want to be alone... She nodded and removed her arms from around him and headed towards the bedroom. If he wanted to go to bed early that was fine with her. "Yeah, we can go to bed." she said, moving up the stairs and into the bedroom to change into her pajamas.

Luna took her sleep shorts and tank top into the bathroom, changing quickly and walking back into the room to find Casper curled up in a ball on the bed, she sighed and crawled under the covers next to him, he looked so sad and hurt. She scooted over to him, looking at him for a moment before opening her mouth and tentatively suggesting they cuddle, heck, maybe that would help? She always would have liked to have been held when she was feeling down anyways. "Casper? Do you want to cuddle?" she asked quietly, laying on her side and holding her arms open in invitation.

"Yeah" he said scooting closer to Luna before moving into her arms. "I'm too depressed for another suicide attempt." He admitted quietly. He wouldn't give her many details, because that was just how Casper worked, but finally he'd take what she offered.
Casper nuzzled his head into the soft skin of the nook between her neck and her shoulder. She wasn't warm, not at all, but then again neither was he. He wasn't even warm emotionally like she was.
Casper grit his teeth again. This was nice, it was comforting, but he still couldn't help but think.
Think had proved disastrous for Casper in the past too.
He exhaled onto her collar bone and made the tinniest sound of a choked distress.

Luna sighed and stoked his head and back soothingly once he buried his face into her collar bone. She was glad he didn't want to kill himself at the moment, although the fact that he was depressed sucked a lot.
When he made his sound Luna cooed softly to him, tilting her head to the side to kiss his temple in a motherly gesture. It was like an instinct embedded in her, another tribute to the fact that she was very much a mother when she was turned.

This felt, pretty good. He sort of liked the contact, liked the way Luna smelled. It was comforting, really comforting.
"It's just," Casper furrowed his brow. "now I feel like there are so many things I should have said. I could have died any day. and I never told anyone what they meant to me, or that I was proud of them." He moved his hand across her hip. "And then one day, I just, died. Now it's gone, every opportunity is gone. No one will know what I thought of them. I didn't tell my grandmother how much I really loved her, and I didn't focus on anything but myself and my prerogative." He sighed shakily.
"Just in case, just in case Lavinia does come for me, and something does happen, I just want, I want you to know I'm really happy you picked me up Luna. I care about you a lot even though I don't show it."

Luna swallowed the lump forming in her throat and continued rubbing his back soothingly. She knew how he felt... but not to the extent he was facing...
She opened her mouth, then closed it again, sighing. She had wanted to hear that, it warmed her dead heart to no end. But she hated the fact that he was suffering in order for him to say it. "I'm glad you told me that Casper. It makes me happy." she said softly "And I care about you too." she finished, More than you could ever know she thought silently.

"I should, I should really tell you stuff more often." He admitted quietly. "I never talk to you, well I'm talking to you right now, but I never tell you what I should." Casper breathed. He turned his head ever so slightly to where his lips rested just lightly on Luna's neck.
"I should say thank you more often, and I don't. I'm sure I should say sorry, but I'm sorry for too many things." He moved his body closer to her.
"And the worst part is, I think, I do really want to kill myself. Right now, I want to kill myself, and actually, just die. But...I don't want to end everything you know? I want to die but not end. I don't want to leave, but I feel like I have to."

If Luna had a beating heart it would have accelerated at the feel of his lips on her neck. But she ignored the feeling, Casper was hurting emotionally, she needed to pay attention and help!!
Dieing... such a final thing. The one mystery that would never be solved. But, she knew what Casper was saying, even if he really didn't. He didn't want to die, not really. Casper didn't want to kill himself, he wanted to kill the vampire inside him. If he could separate the two, she knew he would in a second.
"I can't imagine... what it would be like to become the very thing you despise so much... I can't understand what your going through Casper." she whispered almost inaudibly. Luna leaned back, laying her head down next to his so she could look at him. Her green orbs met his blue and she sighed, "You don't have to leave.." she said. I don't want you to leave... I just want you to be happy... but... leaving... dieing... was that really what would make him happy?

Luna looked at him, she didn't know what he was thinking. Didn't know if she had overstepped her boundaries by saying that... She just... didn't know.
But, what she did know was that Casper had pressed his mouth to hers. While Casper's eyes were shut, hers were wide open in shock. He had.. kissed her... was kissing her! Her eyes closed slowly and she returned the kiss softly, her lips lingering there before she opened her eyes and pulled back. "Casper..." she whispered and looked at him, her eyes filled with indecision. She wanted this, she wanted this so badly it hurt, this and everything it could mean.... But taking advantage of him was wrong... "I just don't want you to regret this..." she said, casting her eyes away from him sadly.

Had he, had he made a mistake? But, no...she had kissed back. People who kissed back generally didn't oppose he idea of kissing in the first place.
So she didn't mind kissing him, right?
And regret it? He regretted waking up and taking a shower. He was just so upset, and lonely. Casper was just spiraling now, he saw himself spiraling too. He was thinking of crap, saying things he didn't want to share, he wasn't acting like himself! The farther he strayed from his original being, the more terrified he became. He had like the old Casper. He had liked the strong self sufficient vampire hunter. He had liked his life!
And now look at him. He was under twenty four hour suicide watch. He wasn't in a good place right now, not at all!
Without opening his eyes, Casper opened his mouth to speak. "Luna I want, I want to kiss you, because when I do, it's like I'm seeing rainbows."
It was a drug, a distraction. It made him feel good, made him forget he was really depressed. It was selfish, and probably something he'd feel guilty about, but...but he could just lay here like this.
He'd be better off dead.

Luna blinked looking at him. She wanted it to be true, if he hadn't been high earlier she would have been touched, those ******** rainbows! When he had been high, he was delusional.. and... he was happy. But it was a fake happy... an artificial fix for his problem. She bit her lip... Maybe... she clenched her eyes shut, she didn't want to think about it!! She didn't want to be rational and reasonable about this!! She wanted him, his love, his kiss, his company, just... him. Whatever he would offer she would take it gladly. And she knew that was wrong...
Maybe she looked too deeply into things... too deeply into this... Maybe she was just in too deep. Over her head.
She didn't care.
She leaned forwards again, wrapping her arms around him, and pressing her lips back to his. If that was what he wanted, she would be his rainbow.

He was relived that she had decided to kiss him. It meant he wouldn't have to deal with the added depression being rejected would undoubtably bring.
It also meant he'd be very distracted for a little while.
Casper slid his hand down her side before fanning his palm out on her hip. He moved his lips against hers slowly.
He wasn't much of one to be really vicious in personal times like these.

Luna sighed and pressed closer against him, her hand running slowly up his back to cup the back of his neck.
She hadn't done this in... well since she was human. Her vampire years were virgin, surprisingly. She never felt anything with any of the others. She liked it, enjoyed it... but she was still a little scared.
