"Ah, I remember when it snowed one day." Nicole nodded to herself. "I made a snowman and used dirt for it's eyes and face. Bad idea on my part."

"Yeah, there was the one time we had a blizzard when I was like three or four. So when my parents set me down on the snow it was so high that I fell right through and they could not see me." Troy said as he grinned at the memory.

((I would love to do a reasonably sized post, but I am just too damn tired. I just got in from working the late shift, and I wanted to read a little for bed. Somebody come to my house and gimme a backrub! lol I'll see you folks tomorrow.))

As soon as the transfusion pack was open from the kitchen, Ellie's nose perked up, causing her to stir. Murmuring a little sleepily, she got up and wandered into the living room. Aivi was grateful to see her mother was alright... As alright as she could get, that is. "Good morning, mommy." She said to her in a joking manner, indicating her sleep clothes. Tyler turned his head to see Eleanor, when he heard the bedroom door click open. He gave a smile and a wave, and pointed to their salvaged microwave in the kitchenette. In it was a second pouch of blood, warming up for her. Tyler preferred to drink it cold, however. "Mornin', sunshine!" he said with a laugh. "How you feelin'?"

Ellie smiled a bit at him before taking the pouch out of the microwave, biting a hole into it, and drinking it strait from the pouch. After a few large swigs, she pulled the bag away with a satisfied gasp. "I'm fine." She responded. "A little fatigued, but maybe that was because I hadn't had my daily dose of blood yet."

Tyler nodded and held up his own blood pouch knowingly. He called for Aivi, and patted his knee. With his young daughter perched safely on his lap, he set the pouch down, empty.
"Tell me something, princess. What do you want to be when you grow up?"

((I think Dragon's losing interest. I'm trying to shift the focus to vampires a little more, so she won't quit. I'm also trying to call attention to the blood-drinking on purpose, because it will be story-important.))
