Walter Bernhard Kameron-Anemone You got 2nd place. :0 Wavemistress got 1st oh!!! cool ^_^ Congrats Wavemistress! Thanks for the prize No prob, and I thought you both deserved cookies for being the only participants. I got no cookies 'cause I had to take 3rd place. Ahaha! Man, my landlords are noisy. :3 (Noisy = good. Sometimes.)
Has anyone ever seen a squirrel sleeping/napping during the day before?

'Twas a pair of horses. 'N I don't think I'm surprised about the out-come. I was as scrutinizing as possible with the pictures that were submitted(I checked to see what their pixel quality was like by magnifying, theme-checked, visual appeal-checked, etc).
I liked Walter's picture a lot because it certainly fit the summer theme, was cute, had nice balance, contrasting colours(the red car among the tree's green leaves), and the curiousity of the children just brought it together for that ultimate summer feel.
But it was pixelated without me zooming in, there wasn't a lot of light -- which with the right amount could have made the picture quite warm(major bonus points would have been given for that), and it seemed like the picture wasn't taken, naturally. It sort of felt... forced.
I liked Wavy's pic because it had summer-theme elements, wasn't bad when it came to pixelation, some minimalist elements, was filled by the two horses, was breath-taking to see the horses running, looked a little 3D with the horse in front, and the background nicely fit in, of course.
I was unsure about what to think of the footer, after all, it didn't add anything. Yet, it didn't take anything away from the picture. It was a bit distracting, but what I assume was the signature in the bottom left corner was nicely placed. That gave me trouble, and irritated my attention span(yeah, that's baaaad). The picture looked to be high-noon which is an alright time to be taking photos, but later or earlier would have made it better.
So, it almost turned into an ennie-meenie-minnie-moe contest. o3o'

Walter Bernhard oh we were? Yes I have it's adorable Yeah, you were. Did I psyche you out that much? (Bwahaha...)
Aw, well I feel real stupid, now. 'Cause I thought it was dead, and was a bit freaked out just walking by it.(I'm very country, and the only time I've ever seen a squirrel lying still is when it's dead. So, I didn't assume that it was asleep, at first. I should have guessed 'cause it was a city squirrel. Teehee~)

Walter Bernhard it was a mix I don't know I could probably tell what kind of mix it is.(Though, I do find some mix breeds hard to figure out.)
All I really need would be a few details about it's appearance. Like... What kind of eyes did it have(small, medium, big, bulgy)? Did it have floppy ears, or ears that were perked up? And if they floppy ears, were they turned out or were they like a lab's ears and like the sails of a ship? What was it's colouration, and size? Details like that... I can probably figure it out pretty good'n'quick.
