Nightmare stood up staring down Batman and Wonder Woman "I dare you to try and stop me." to be honest he was still having a tug of war in his mind over Bane, if he should be killed or not. Nightmare backed off when GL got between them "pffft, you don't want me to join the Justice League to help, you want me up there because you're afriad of me, you're afraid I'll have another mood swing like back in January, maybe it'll be in a more populated area, you just want me up there to cover your own asses." he sat back down and folded his arms "don't even try to deny it."

GL told MMH to takes Bats and WW out of here while he kept talking. Using his ring he pried Kendra away from Nightmare and kept her in a field "I'd forgive you if you weren't giving our boy here a hard time!" Looking back to Nightmare he apologized "Sorry about that and no Nightmare, I don't fear you. I sympathize with you. There is a big difference and I know that losing someone close to you can be hard. My offer to join the JL isn't to lock you up like some b*****d animal, it's to give you a place of belonging and a purpose you can be proud of. Your incident last month wasn't your fault, it was proven that you were acting against your own control and thus you weren't the bad guy there, only a victim." Setting Kendra down finally and releasing the rings power to keep her back figuring she'll have cooled off enough he added "Think of it this way, if I was afraid of you and wanted to lock you up, would I be here talking in a civilized manner with you while keeping others off your back about what's going on?"
Cass nudged Nightmare again, trying to get his attention to point at her black shirt which had a yellow batgirl symbol on it. Hoping he'd see that she wanted to be a hero too and work with him.

Yeah... I was kind of working on that for the last hour plus while trying to figure out how to apply to a job via the internet... with the most frustrating application system i've encountered yet.

Nightmare folded his arms, not taking his eyes of GL "how many of you really believe that?" he stood back up and looked at Cass "yes you're going to be a Batgirl." he turned and headed for his room "the answer is still no." and with that he slammed the door shut.
Future Nightmare whistled "can't believe I was really that emotional."

Pamela looked at Nightmare and then back at the Green Latern. "I'm only going to say this once. Leave my ward alone. Now Metropolis isn't really my kind of town, but I've been itching to turn it green for a while," She smirked. Green was his motif. "I'm sure you understand." She began to walk away and stopped, turning back. "Oh, if Wonder Woman puts one hand on him. The next time any of you see me wont be on friendly circumstances.
She walked over to the door and knocked lightly. "Do you want to talk about it?" She looked over to the Future Nightmare for some sort of help.
Me: Not, Haur...this is serious business Haur. They were right! You're nothing but an intergalactic player! *shrieks pointing to Jon* You're no better than Lobo! *cries running into Ivy's garden* crying

Future Nightmare shook his head "let me cool off, he's prolly playing GTA and causing chaos, after a while he'll get bored, take a nap and feel alittle better." he ruffled Cass' hair "dun worry kid, we're like Nightwing and Batgirl, only we don't make everyone want to vomit."

Cass just stood there, the most defeated look in her eyes. Even Babs hugging her and Older Nightmare ruffing her hair didn't make her flinch, she just slowly looked down at the symbol on her shirt as though it were all she had left.
Green Lantern looked at Pam with a 'oh really?" kind of glance and then just said rhetorically "Is it just me or is everyone going losing their minds?" Face planting he shook his head and walked over to Kendra "C'mon, lets try to salvage what we can of our evening."
