Kai looked from LT to Kanzuki, his face determined, "Well, Kanzo, it looks like for now, we're following LT-Sensei." With that Kai turned towards the door and followed LT out."I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me" [exit to.... well I'm not sure yet, probably the training grounds]

Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner As the children left his office, Luo sighed a bit as he placed the final paper in the outbox on his desk. Drinking his coffee quickly, he left for the academy to see how training was going for the kids. There was an experiment Luo wished to test out with Kaizen and his new found affinity for elemental chakra. He was going to see just how much of the Gobi's chakra the seal he had placed on the boy allowed him to use at his young age.
EXIT.

Mai looked at Lulu and gazed deep into her cousins eyes. "this is about Fordon. I want to know more about him. i want to know what he is. He is strong and fast. i know that could be any ninja but its different with him. I saw him get impaled by two swords threw his guts and act like it was nothing. i want to know about the scars. i want to know where they came from and how he survived them. ive seen the one on his neck. it looks like he was decapitated. how could he survive that? I want know why he has this unwillingness to be around others and even more so when he trains. i want to know what he meant when he said "because of what he was." i think i have a right to know." Mai said laying it all out together. she knew there was something more something her cousin and Fordon had not told her. she just wanted to know what it was. as she spoke a hawk appeared out of the sky and came to rest on the railing of the roof. it was a messenger hawk and the note was addressed to "Lord Luo the Mizukage"

Before he could speak, Luo's clone received a message from a courier hawk. Taking the note, Luo's clone spoke before opening it. "I think these are all questions best suited for Fordon. It isn't my place to answer personal questions about him, especially in his absence. The only thing I can say is that don't take his wanting to train in solitude to offense, or are you forgetting the two years I was absent from the village? Put your mind at ease for now Mai, and wait until his return to ask him these things. The world of the shinobi is stranger than you think Mai, and if you think Fordon's condition deserves some explanation, you should look into shinobi who have been raised from the dead using a human sacrifice. Don't worry over such petty things for now and get some rest. Your research not only did some good for relations with Takigakure, but it also made a huge discovery for us. Just be happy with your work and rest easy, okay?" It was then that Luo opened the note, awaiting what it may say.

The note said "this hawk knows where to find me. i have also included you map and a second map that shows where i am. respectfully, Fordon" Mai sighed a looked down. she had asked him about the scars before but he never really answers. she wanted to know now. she didnt want to wait for Fordon to get back. She felt like she had aright to know what she was getting into

The giant waterball exploded to the side of the tower as chunks of rock and water rained down upon the ground below. THe massive explosion echoed throughout the village as a fourth of the tower was destroyed by a simple attack

((Lol, nope the tower's all good whee the way I rebuilt it, there would be no possible way for that attack to do that much damage to it, especially with the supposed distance between the lake and the tower.))

Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner Walking up to the front door with the last yawn of the morning, Luo opened in knowing full well what was waiting behind it. The lobby of the office had quite a few new water fixtures thanks to its reconstruction during the Gobi attack. On the left side of the room, the wall was lined with granite slabs which had water flowing over them. It was something Luo personally requested based on the shrill voice which lay behind the curved desk in the corner of the right side of the room. Mrs. Kanai, the women who seemed to always manage to annoy Luo before his first cup of coffee sat waiting to pounce on him. However, on this day, she seemed a little less eager to perform her usual ritual. Perhaps Luo had finally defeated the woman; or perhaps he had simply gained her respect.
"Sir, the council needs to know the status of the mines in water country. Furthermore, there is talk of a chuunin exam in the near future. If that's true, I suggest you get your teams in shape. Speaking of teams, Squad three's own Kaizen and Yamatano tracked down the cat of the Water Daimyo's daughter."
Nodding, Luo seemed to sigh a bit. He understood the talk of chuunin exams, and actually needed to send a squad to check on the mines before he reported to the council on how much money the minerals would bring back to the village. As he went up the stairs with the woman signing documents she forcefully shoved in his field of vision, he muttered as they walked down the hallway to his office, "Hmmm, that's a surprise. I gave them the mission in an attempt to show them humility. I have no doubt in my mind the animal the Daimyo's daughter has been training to use in battle didn't exactly give them an easy time. Thank you Mrs. Kanai." Nodding as he opened his door, Luo seemed to chuckle at the thought of Kai and Yama running after the cat through the streets. They'd certainly learn a bit of modesty in their approach to situations from that mission on. Placing the modified robe he created from the original and the hat hanging loosely on his back by the silk strap around Luo's neck, Luo sat at his desk writing quietly. It seemed, his day had begun.

Varro stood outside the door of the Mizukage's office, his body worn from the work he had done. From the building of the wall, to training with Lt, he had not rested himself. Instead he needed to speak to Luo, there had been some development and he needed to give into his curiosity. Then if even possible, train more if the Mizukage would take him on. Excitement, dedication, and curiosity trumped exhaustion any day.
He pushed open the doors he had walked through a few times before, the girls inside probably recognized him. When he worked with his father, he had to enter here in order to get building permits for some of the larger projects they had been contracted for. His eyes drifted around and fell on a lady he knew.
"Hello Mrs. Kanai! is the Mizukage here? I really need to speak with him," Varro asked in a tired all business like tone. The women looked to him and gave a slight look of recognition, yet she sort of knew many within the village. She also knew that he had left his life as a business man to join the ranks of ninja.
"Yes, he just got in, his office is over that way. Just knock," She replied, pointing back behind her to the door at the end of a hallway. Varro nodded and walked down the hall until he came to the door she had pointed at. This would be the first time he would have talked to the Mizukage outside that one very brief moment at the academy. With a deep breath to settle his nerves and to try to push back the crying attention from his mind that asked for sleep he knocked.

Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner As Luo checked the budget for the new wall that was to be built as well as the technologies department, he seemed to allow an annoyed sigh escape his lips as he muttered while revising the documents, "These people have no idea what they're doing and these numbers are all wrong. This is gonna take a few days." Finishing a quarter of the particular document and setting it aside, Luo flipped through the new academy files. Looking at Varro's a bit distracted by his own thoughts, Luo heard a light knock on the door. Polite, yet reserved. The knock almost seemed to be tentative, maybe even exhausted. Looking up from the low bamboo desk, Luo seemed to put his head in his hand on the table muttering in his usual tone, "Come in."

With that breath and the knock, the nervous tension Varro felt passed. He didn't wait to open the door after he was invited, stepping in he shut the door behind him. He turned back to Luo who also looked just as exhausted as Varro felt. His head in his hands, and surrounded by paperwork that looked rather tedious to most. Yet for some reason, Varro felt that every paper there held some importance, and that always interested him.
He bowed ever so slightly to Luo, giving his proper respects, "Lord Mizukage, thank you for some of your time. You look rather busy, but Sensei Lt feels I can learn from you," He stated, no sound of exhaustion or hesitation evident, just business. Though his face would betray a bit of that, it was obvious he was tired. He was quiet for a moment as he contemplated how to put the last bit of his reason for coming into words. His gaze drifting to the papers for just a brief second before returning to Luo, "and he also showed great interest in me and my capabilities to learn jutsu very quickly. When I told him my fathers name, he seemed to think I should speak with you about my family history."
This last part had played on his mind the entire trip from the academy to the Mizukage's office. He never thought his family history to be interesting, but as he pondered, he realized that beyond the business, there wasn't much he really knew about them.

Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner Staring at the boy in front of him, Luo could near instantly tell the exhaustion on his body. Nodding in response to his bow, Luo took in the shakiness with which it was performed. His muscles were obviously suffering a bit from tedious work, and the bags under his eyes betrayed the brightness in his voice. If Luo didn't know any better, he'd say Varro acted almost in the same manner Luo did when he was younger. As the academy student spoke of LT, it reminded Luo of what he thought was missing as he seemed to mutter to himself more than anything rather listlessly, "Hmmm, he's not here with the coffee yet. A bit strange." As Luo seemed to ponder LT's whereabouts, one would somewhat wonder how the young man was a Kage.
His thought process seemed to always override what was in front of him, however for some odd reason he was quite capable of staying alert enough to pay loose attention to those around him. He was finding himself less and less intellectually stimulated by the things around him, especially when he worked on the documents which sat on his desk. He receded into his own thoughts to keep his mind entertained in a way, to not lose total interest in the task at hand. It was usually only in battle that Luo seemed to have an odd zen-like silence about him. There and the water were where Luo's mind could be put to rest, allowing thoughts to flow freely and to focus on everything and nothing at the same time. A balance that Luo readily enjoyed when he meditated as well.
Tuning in to hear the second request from Varro, Luo sightly raised his left eyebrow as his interests were mildly peaked. It wasn't like Tares to simply send people to Luo for training. He was after all one of the teachers at the academy, and a good one at that. And in his few months of being Mizukage as well as knowing Tares since he was a genin, he knew he would never send someone out of the classroom setting without good reason. Eying the boy for a moment, Luo at last broke his silence. "What is your father's name if I may ask Varro?"
