Kyoshi nodded in her direction then shook it as she mentioned the rotting body. He caught her rubbing the back of her head and how she tried to be pain in the a** Dusk. Kyoshi walked up to her and reached his hand out to her.

Dusk stared at the hand. "Um...ok. I'll bite." She took his hand. "What are you gonna do to me?" This was different. Kyoshi was not someone she expected to be nice to her after she confronted him. Maybe...no...

He closed his hands over hers and picked up off the ground. "I'm going to take you home." He said and began walking with her hand in his. He wasn't dragging her or anything. He was just noticing how tired she was, it was evident in her eyes. He set a slow pace but not too slow.

Dusk was about to say something about her not needing his help, but a yawn stopped her. "Wait!" She quickly got out of his grasp and looked around. Finding some flowers, she made them look pretty and put them on her mother's marker. Clasping her hands together, she said a quick prayer in elvish. Dusk opened her eyes and kissed her finger tips and placed them on her mother's stone.
"See ya, Mother." She stood up and ran over to the body and kicked it far away from her mother's grave. "That shouldn't be here..." And finally, Dusk went back over to Kyoshi, fighting back a yawn. "Ok." She took his hand. "Let's go to your place now."

Kyoshi took her hand again and walked back to the apartment. The house again was clean and with the new couch it looked cozier than before. He went into the bedroom and sat Dusk next to the bed. He walked quickly to the doorway to not make her feel weird. "You take a nap and I'll make some dinner. What would you like?" He took his Kiseru and put it away in his sleeves.

Dusk shrugged, thankful that he didn't linger. "I don't care. Whatever you have handy is fine by me. I'm not picky." About food... Dusk was just glad whenever she was given food.

Kyoshi walked out and started cooking. It was getting hot near the stove and he took his kimono off. He looked focused when he was going here and there. The shadows of the light playing with his muscles and his many large scars. He then stood over the pans that had steak. His mind was in a whirl that Kyoshi was shocked to not have burned the food or house up.

Dusk sighed and stood up. She walked to a chair in the room and dropped her trench coat on it, then her smaller coat, then her shoes, gloves, and cover-jeans. She was left in her fishnet, strapless black bra, and black cargo shorts that went to her knees. Dusk flopped onto the bed, looking at her scar covered form. Light scars covered her arms, mostly on the underside, and covered her legs. Mainly burns on her ankles from where.... She shook her head at the memory. It wasn't a pleasant one.
Dusk sighed as she ran her hand over her torso. She had a huge scar there, the only sizable one other than the ones on her ankles. She had been run straight through when she had gotten that one. She sighed again. "Tell me I can't survive..." Dusk muttered. "Tell me I don't know what the world's like..."

"I don't know about the first one but I can say that you don't know what the world is like." Kyoshi said as he came in with a big plate of steak, rice, potatos, salad and a drink of milk. He place them all on a little table and brought it over to Dusk. Setting it next to her, he placed a fork and a knife on the table. "Eat up. I'm making some cake." It was so unlike Kyoshi to do things for others unless of course they were someone he considered close. But with Dusk, he found it easier to do things like clean and cook. Even though she drove him to lose his temper, in the end it wasn't as bad as he would have thought.

Dusk shot up, eying the food, not caring at all about her exposed persona. "Food!" She grabbed the food and ate, extremely happy. This was now the biggest meal she had ever had. "Wow...you can actually cook...." Dusk ignored the comment about her not knowing the world, but then noticed her state and fought a blush.
Damnitt...I need to stop looking like a freaking kid! Though, without all of her layers, Dusk didn't look like a child. When she was looked at like this, Dusk looked like her age. Someone who wasn't all kid like but someone who really could take care of herself.
Even Kyoshi wouldn't be able to deny that.

Kyoshi covered his eyes with his hand. 'Damnit! Why?! WHY?!' He turned around and walked out the door. "Just tell me when your done so I can get you a piece of cake." He said over his shoulder, still not looking at her. The way she looked was....OH GOD! It was no wonder she got hit on. This was bad. He was going to take a cold shower when she was asleep.

Dusk watched as Kyoshi practically ran out of the room. "Um...ok..." Shrugging, she went back to attacking her food. After she was done, Dusk walked out with her plate. "Hey, I'm done eating this. You can actually cook really well."

Kyoshi nodded and took or rather snatched the plate out of her hands and quickly washed it. "If you'll excuse me, I'm going to and take a shower." 'A really cold a** shower.' He finished in his mind. He looked at her for a split second. Then slapped his face and briskly walked into the bathroom to start that freezing shower.

Dusk was confused for a moment as she heard the shower start, but then realized that she recognized the look. "Oh." She gasped. "My." She dropped the plate, it thankfully not breaking. "God!" Dusk smirked, Well then, Kyoshi. This will be fun.... "For me..." She muttered.

Kyoshi stood under the shower head, letting the freezing water wash over him and ease his...discomfort. After heading out, he dried himself and put on lose sweats and a t-shirt. He walked out, hoping Dusk covered herself up. He had the towel in hair to dry.
