Haucon watched as the skeleton again was moved away from him and looked at it questioningly. It had yet to make a movement of aggression toward them despite Lyris' shots at it, and it was wearing a badge of the Sea Guard. He raised his free hand toward Lyris, hoping that he'd understand to hold still and turned toward the skeleton once more calling out to it: "Ahoy there! What are you then? Did Captain Kevin send you?!"

((Alright.. wasn't sure if Isabelle would have a response to the skeleton taking a defensive stance and edging around her.
North Gate))
"Retreat and close the gate, quickly." Allen commanded. It was awfully unnatural for skeletons to be crawling around, and he wasn't going to let him into the city. They would defend from a far. There not many of the enemy left. For whatever reason, the North Gate was the most successful in its defense. Perhaps, less enemy was at the North Gate because the castle was closest to that Gate.

((East Gate))
"Eurosian?" the flame haired Kira blinked. "Again? Ian, you sure you heard that?" Kira never understand why Eurosia insisted on attacking Chronopolis the years before. Why continue to attack Chronopolis, a small city in the next country over?
She squinted as she looked in the distance at the lumbering shape coming their way. It was slow, but it was coming. She sighed. "Let me try something. Give me some room."
Kira stepped back and mumbled something in elven tongue. It was better than nothing. She'd try a spell Tia had taught her a few days ago, a simple fire ball. She launched it at the larger enemy.

Lyris was just about to charge the skeleton again when a man held his hand out and started speaking to the skeleton. Bewildered, Lyris asked, in a slightly raised voice, "What in the Seven Oracles of Zion are you doing?" Then, upon closer inspection of the skeleton, he noticed what the man had probably seen the whole time: A Sea-Guard's badge. "What the devil is that thing doing with a Sea-Guard's badge?" he thought. "Shane might know..." He finished as he looked up at Shane, who had since come down the path and was kneeling next to the skeleton, also observing the badge. "Hey, Shane! I have a question for you. Get over here." he shouted at Shane.
As Shane was inspecting the skeleton, he had just been looking at the badge it was wearing when Lyris' shouts broke him out of his concentration. Shane looked up, and got up to his feet as he walked down to Lyris. "Eh? What is it?" he responded to Lyris' question.
"That badge. Do you know anything about it? Other than the fact that it's a Sea-Guard's badge." he added as he saw Shane's mouth open.
"Err, yeah. Actually, I knew the person that badge belonged to." he answered matter-of-factly. "Though... it couldn't be... could it?" he thought. Shaking the thought out of his head, he replied to Lyris' quizzical look. "Alderin van Elroth. He used to be a pretty good guy, but all the time spent at sea made him crazy. Soon, he started attacking the other members of the Sea-Guard, and the captain, Kevin, had to.. er, put him down."
(Like what I did thar? I just expanded the lore a bit, and you didn't even notice! Meheh I feel sneaky)

Isabelle The Barbers Daughter Nothing to bleed from? Well it's not fun then is it... Isabelle stared at the bones as they edged past. After seeing them 'talk' to the metal smith she was pretty sure that it wasn't perticularly dangerous but at the same time to her it meant they were technicall an enemy, an enemy that was already dead, killing it would be hard. " Stupid skully b*****d, what are you defending against me for, I'd rip you to peices...." Isabelle thought to herself as she stared into its sockets. " Ehh, help? Metalsmith... Whats going on here, theres a skeleton with a sword! Oh my... What do I do!" She said in a panicde sounding voice, hopefully the smithy would pick up on it and move the bones on, if it was dead then there was no fun in killing it again, mainly from the lack of flesh. Carefully Isabelle took a few steps back, hoping that she wouldn't have to reveil herself to the metalsmith. ((kinda short, but i'm in an RP slump just now))

((Skeleton #4 v. Lyris, Shane, Aidan, Haucon, and maybe Felecia if she comes into the area if she followed Shane.
And yes, Mal, that's fine. Haha.
Kevin: WHAT? I WOULD NEVER KILL MY MEN!
Scythe: Mal has a point.))
The piratey looking skeleton made a stand again, but consistently did not make any motion to attack any of them. It scratched its head and straightened its bandanna at Haucon's question. Clearly, it either didn't know or didn't understand; the former was more likely.
At Shane's outburst, the skeleton put it arms on its hips, striking a pose and shaking his head. It tried to speak, but since it had no vocal chords, it couldn't. So, it walked up to Shane and poked him menacingly without moving that weapon it was holding in the other arm.

Finding a lack of comfort in the empty streets of Chronopolis, Felecia headed toward the Inn that Shane had mentioned. While she walked through the streets she felt as if it'd be the last time she'd ever see them though she blew them off as hysterical thinking... Standing outside of the Bar, she inspected it and walked in cautiously still not trusting anything from what had just happened

Shane turned at the skeleton's poking and glared at it. Noticing that it wasn't wielding its sword actively, Shane toned his glare down to more of a wary leer. He thought about talking to it, but the skeleton obviously didn't understand the other man who had asked him about his origin. However, Shane had an idea. "Hoy, there. Would your name by chance be... Alderin?" he awaited a response from the skeleton. Perhaps it was just another crew member taken by age, but there was no mistaking the badge. "Blast it, I know for a fact that badge belonged to Alderin." Shane thought. "I never knew the man personally, but I did see him about on those rare occasions when he was on land. His badge was always off-color, as though the sea-spray had altered its appearance."

Shravra the metalsmith Get a move on. " Ehh, help? Metalsmith... What's going on here, there's a skeleton with a sword! Oh my... What do I do!” Turning at the sound of the girls voice Shravra found the new hairdresser that had moved across the road. ”Don't worry, little ma'am. I think it's not dangerous. Besides, it's just leaving.” Placing a hand on the spinal cord of the skeleton, where the small of the back should have been, he pushed it along the road they had began to walk down. After a short distance, he stopped pushing and followed it as it kept on the road to the south gate.

Haucon stared in puzzlement at the skeleton and the other two people who had arrived. He recognized Shane as the bartender from one of his usual pubs, but couldn't remember his name. Nonetheless, he was concerned about the animated skeleton. He turned to Aidan and nodded toward the skeleton. "It doesn't seem to want to attack, you know? Maybe if we can just get the weapon away from it, it'll... go on its way?" he said hopefully, keeping his piece of wood ready just in case and watching the barkeeper and half-elf interact with the skeleton, ready to provide backup if necessary.

((Skeleton #4 v. Shane, Lyris, Haucon, Aidan))
The skeleton turned to "eye" Haucon with its empty eye sockets when the stablemaster made the suggestions. Then it turned back to Shane and pointed at its badge. It then raised up its arms in a shrug and pointed toward North Gate as it started walking. Its route would take them through the North Cemetery, where something interesting and maybe disturbing would be visible. Holes.
------------ ((South Gate -2 Skeletons, Adam, Shrava))
"The hell..." The onslaught of the enemy against South Gate was ebbing away. The view of the battle from above that Adam was seeing was interesting to say the least. The skeleton that had originally attacked the captain was now confusing the heck out of the enemy and harming them. "That thing sure ain't on our side. Why the hell is it attacking them?" Who cares... that's f***ing good for us. Adam grunted. "Keep an eye on that monster."
There was a shout from the men below. "Ah, f***!" Another skeleton was ambling its way over with an elf. Wait. Wasn't that the metal smith? []"Shrava, what the hell is going on?"

Shravra the metalsmith You're the one that should know. It took them longer to reach the South gate that it should have. Every time they crossed the paths of anyone, Shravra had to either hide the skeleton or endure screams of confusion. More often than not, people would look around for guards to call for help. Eventually he reached the gate to the sight of the infantry section of the military defending it. "Shrava, what the hell is going on?" Locating the voice as belonging to Captain Adam, Shravra merely shrugged. ”Captain. If I knew what was going on, I would be in my shop trying to fix it up right now. As it is, I've been following this skeleton from the middle of town to here. I'm not sure if it's on our side or not though.”

Aidan Vale The Apothecary Aidan watched quietly from behind Haucon, trying to make sense of the events in her own mind. In all her years, she had never witnessed the animation of corpses, let alone skeletons, so it went without saying that this entire situation was extremely odd. She made no move to acknowledge the others who had joined their little party; she didn’t know them, and therefore felt no need offer a greeting. Raising her eyebrows, the young elf fixed the sheathed sword onto her belt for safe keeping, and reached forward to place a small hand on Haucon’s elbow. Speaking softly, Aidan said, “Like you said, it doesn’t seem to have any intention of attacking… And, I’m afraid that if we were to try and remove the weapon, our actions might actually trigger an attack. Perhaps,” She paused, looking at the badge again as the creature gestured to it. “We should just keep it company until it reaches its destination… That way, if it tries to attack any other citizens on its way, we can stop it…?” She smiled a little, finding it slightly comical that a skeleton should be so animated.
