((Griffin, I have no issue with you skipping ahead. But the villages are all a bit farther out than that. Each team is going to have to travel for at least a few days if not up to a week to reach their destinations. If you could appropriately edit your last post to accommodate that fact I would appreciate it.))

Aretha nearly lost her balance on her horse. She let out a high squeak as she flung her arms about, grabbing onto the horse's neck to stablize her. Aretha's face turned red in embarrassment. Aretha somehow managed to bury her head even more into her hood, and refused to look at any of them in the eye. "I...uh...I..I...I" she try to say. Her body was visibly shaking, as she tried to fight the urge to just ride the horse all the way home. Aretha took a breath, trying to calm down.
"Ah-I...I was assigned to this team," she said, looking up at them for the time. Her cheek was partly visible through the veil of her hair. Aretha seemed to notice this and ducked her head back down again, hoping none of them had noticed.

Tia laughed nervously. "Ehh... None other than training..." Tia admitted to Emma. "Sorry, I'm sort of a newbie." Tia added, rubbing under her nose with the side of her pointer finger.
Kiro watched the girl, feeling a bit uneasy and somewhat confused. This girl is in Calivert? She seems a bit inexperienced to me. But something doesn't really seem right with her. Best not worry about it. Kiro figured in his thoughts of the girl before them. "Well, I don't have any objections." Kiro said with a shrug.

"Neither do I." William said, "Welcome to the team. I'm William Daarkwulf, Hunter Guardian. What's your name?" He said while extending a hand for her to shake.
"How do you fight?" Gene asked Tia. "I will need to know if I am to formulate any sort of plan." A total rookie... Lovely. That means this may be up to Emma and myself to handle...
((Alright, timeskipping Team 2. They'll be a few days ahead of the other teams until they timeskip as well. I hope nobody becomes confused by this...))
Ty, Train, and Enyo had been traveling together for several days. During that time Ty had loosened up quite a bit, reverting to his normal talkative and positive personality. They had been ambushed by a minor fiend along the way, on the third day, and had easily dispatched and sealed it. They were well into their fifth day of travel, most of which had been through The Great Calivert Forest, when they began to perceive lights ahead of them. They could just make out twinkling lights through the dense trees and the shadows of the coming dusk. "Looks like we finally found the place." Tyrone said in his deep gravely voice. "Now we can finally find out exactly what it is we're up against."
"I agree, It can't be too far off. But I think that something that can cause that kind of damage would be kinda large. It's probably not too close. We should check with the village and see if they know where it likes to hole up. Plus we can leave the horses with them while we go take care of their turtle problem." Matt said.

Aretha flickered her eyes up at William. Her eyes caught his. A small smile grazed her lips hesitantly. "They're ok. No different from my own brothers."
She extended her hand, and grasped his. His hand was large compared to hers, even though they seemed to be about same height. His hand felt warm even through his glove. It felt alittle weird to be shaking someone's hand covered in a fingerless glove.
She retracted her hand, and looked at the rest of them. She was still hidden in her hood, but now that she had equalivilated them to her brothers, she wasn't as nervous about meeting them.
"Um...They didn't tell me anything about the m-mission," she said softly, stumbling on the word mission. She was still nervous about that.

Tia cleared her throat. "Uhmm... Well, the best way to explain it is that I'm a kicker." Tia started. "Look at my metal boots." Tia gestured. "If you wonder how strong my kick can be, then I guess I'd say... I could... Kick through a fortress wall." Tia started out subtle then escalated into telling something very amazing in a very casual way.
Enyo was now riding closer to Train and Tyrone that she had before and it now seemed more normal. "We finally grasp the situation of the village." Enyo suggested.
"And I'm Kiro." Kiro introduced himself suddenly. "I wasn't ever given a last name." Kiro added quietly. "But welcome to our team. We're supposed to exterminate an insect by my knowledge." He explained to the girl.

Emma chuckled, now she knew how to terrify this girl. "Oh good, you'll probably be really similar to Train then. That'll make things easier. How do you usually handle untold odds and great adversity?" Emma asked. "We got this!!!" Emma thought, knowing full well that Tia could even turn on them from behind and they would still be able to kill everything.
Train grunted again, his hand hurt from misjudging how close the minor fiend had been to a tree. It dodged and then Train yelled. It didn't go much better after that. After three days it was still a lot better than when it happened.
"Than we find the village first. That would be best anyway, we need information." Train added to his grunt. "It's almost assured that they know where it lives, and even if they don't, we can get some habits from them. Otherwise they wouldn't have so big a problem that they need a Hunter team."
Isaac was still clinging for dear-life against the neck of his horse, all his progress gone. "And I just want to walk... Why can't you people ever keep your own two feet on the ground?" Isaac cried. He attempted a small wave to the new girl, who still had yet to introduce herself.
"I'm Isaac Armine... From Taolizohrn..."

The tentative smile on her lips grew wider. "I agree," she said to Isaac. "Oh! I'm Aretha Heart, also from Taolizohrn. Sorry," she apologized, realizing her hadn't introduced herself with a small blush again. Aretha ducked her head deep in her hood again, letting shadow fall across her eyes.
"Um...should we...get going or something?" she asked, uncomfortable again.

"Yes, we should." William said. "We've got a long ways to travel and every minute we waste is another minute that somebody might be getting hurt or killed by the fiend we're supposed to be slaying. So," He said, and cracked a grin to let the rookies know he wasn't being coldhearted. "Let's get to it."
((If there are no objections I'd like to timeskip Team 4.))

Mathias blinked at the guard's news and offered his own salute before calling his thanks to the departing guard and racing back out the gate. He called to the groom and snatched the reins away from the bewildered man before he quickly climbed into the saddle and sped towards the gates of the city, calling apologies to those that had to step quickly out of his way. Before long he was passing through the gates and hoped he could catch up to his team mates quickly.

((Griffin, you are absolutely right. That was my mistake. I misread.))
Gene, ever alert, heard the thundering sound of hoofbeats quickly approaching from behind. He turned about in his saddle and saw the form of a man in armor rapidly closing the distance between them. Gene lifted his bow, drawing back and taking aim. He was sure he could hit the man from where they were, though it was not one hundred percent. Also, he was not certain that this man was a threat yet. As the man came close enough that Gene's sharp vision was able to start picking out his features he also reached the point where Gene was reasonably certain that he could not miss. However, he lowered his bow. He recognized the man on horseback. It was Mathias Valenti. Perhaps he would have a better opportunity to improve his standing after all. "We have company." Gene said and hooked one thumb back towards the oncoming rider as he settled himself and his bow back to a more comfortable position.
"Alright." Ty said in his deep voice. "To the village we go. It can't be much farther." Ty was quite exited at this point. It had been a very long time since he had had a fight that really challenged him. He was wondering exactly what sort of fiend this turtle was really going to be. Whether its shell could resist the force of his blade. How large it was. He hoped he wouldn't be let down.

((I have no problems with it. And if anyone has any problem with my post, I can edit or delete it.))
Over the next few days they travelled, Aretha didn't get much more comfortable with the men. She didn't mind cooking for them, seeing as all the skills she knew pretained to cooking, or cleaning or mending ot sewing or other such skills, and was able to learn more about Calvert and the mission. She wasn't suttering as much while she talked to them about the mission, but she still was uncomfortable.
She would walk half a mile into the woods to wash her cloths or herself or use the bathroom. She wouldn't make eye contact with them. She still tried to hide her right cheek as much as possible, though she was sure at least one of them had seen the scars by now. She didn't dare ask them anything about their past or themselves, and she mostly suttered or squeaked out a response when asked about hers.
Fortnately, the weather was warmer than where she came from, so she wasn't taking sick. On the last day of their travels though, it started to rain. By high noon, Aretha was sneezing and coughing, not to mention shivering so badly she could barely stay on the horse.
