As he got closer and closer to the voices, which he quickly came to realize were coming from a camp, Aenmwan slowed his steps more and more. He'd prefer not to be discovered by these people, being a stranger to the land. Never knew who you'd run into and how they'd react. His feet barely whispered over the grass and plants littering the forest floor, and he dashed quick and shadow like from tree to tree.

Miluiel set Shinn down on the snowy ground. "Little Shinn, go and get your father would you?" She asked looking towards the forest where she had heard a noise. she began to walk toward the forest's edge. She hoped that Shinn would listen to her and find his father. She didn't want to lose track of the noises.
She entered the forest looking around with her keen elven sight. She could see nothing yet.

Aenmwan froze, hunkered down against a tree trunk as he heard a rustling in the trees. He heard a woman's voice call out to someone, slowly coming closer to the forests edge. Someone was leaving the camp. He loosed a knife from his belt and held it ready, crouching in the shadows, the brown leather of his armour blending with the forest.
((...is it day or night?))

Miluiel walked deeper into the forest, still not touched by the sun's gracing light. Her searched closer now, checking every tree that she could see. She could almost feel herself getting closer to the unknown.

Shinn nodded nervously and dashed off back to the house. When he got there he saw his father talking with two other adult werewolves, and waited for them to finish their converstation.
Azrael turned to see his son waiting for him anxiously. "Is something wrong, my son?" He asked.
Shinn nodded. "We heard a strange sound in the bushes! Millie told me to get you!" He said. "C'mon! She was over here!" He said leading his father to the sight.
Azrael nodded and followed after him. Eventually he reached where Shinn ld him was and stepped forward. "Where did she go?" He asked.

Aenmwan slowly crept around the tree, finally spotting the other elf. He slowly moved back, trying to put some distance between her and himself.

“Thank you little one, but I must give chase to Miluiel and protect her at all costs. I’m going after her sir. I can follow her scent, she is my dearest friend and I am not about to let her come to harm. I’ll bring her back alive.” Helena would not laugh when she watched her friend take off into forest and give chase after her. Her body would take off after her friend following her scent soon catching up with great speed. “Miluiel stay close will you, I gave an oath remember to always protect you.” Helena did not go back on her word as her hands would quickly remove a bow that she carried with her. Her topaz wings would spread wide as she shielded Miluiel from any and all harm.

Miluiel turned to face him, she had heard his soft steps, and now she thought she saw him. "H-hello." she said to him. "What are you doing out here?" she asked him calmly as she stepped aroudn Helena's wings. She placed her hand on her friend's shoulder reassuringly.

Azrael and Shinn also followed the scent, as they had been around Miluiel long enough to recognize her scent. Azrael also caught an unfamiliar scent and decided to track it. He crept through cover silently, until he got close to the scent, and a cursory look caught a vague outline of someone who was blending in with the environment.
Shinn crept up next to Miluiel. "I-I got opau..." He said softly. "He got the scent of the of the stranger." He said very quietly, almost silently.

Aenmwan sighed. Spotted. Damn. He stood and placed his hands on his hips, eyebrow arched. "Didn't I needed permission to walk through the forest," he said, staring the group down. He saw the werewolf run up and his eyes narrowed. A child werewolf...and generally where there was a child there was an adult. He twirled his knife lazily round and round. He wouldn't make the frst move, but it didn't hurt to let these people know he could take care of himself. He checked the pack over his shoulder again, making sure if was still tightly tied.

Miluiel patted Shinn's head. "Good job." she said to him softly. "Thank you for getting him." she looked out into the forest trying to locate Azrael. "Please stay behind us Shinn." she said seriously. "We will keep you safe."
Miluie's attention was immediately upon the stranger. "We are mot hostile if you are not." she said, recognizing the accent of an elf. "You have entered the domain of a wolf clan. They are only protecting their homes."

Helena nodded slightly but did not lower bow from the stranger as she stood there in perfect guardian mode. Her eyes had the look of someone who did not fool around with the lives of those she had sworn to protect. She would not lose Miluiel to anyone as she stood there. Her eyes narrowed when she spotted the glint of the knife. “Sir, if you intend use of that knife I would not suggest it. I hold the lives of these people highly. I see even a single blood drop spilt this forest will know my sorrow.” Her words did not come out as a mere threat.

"And you should know, that its bad policy to sneaking around like that. It makes us suspect ill intent." He said from the other side of Aenmwan's position. "You can't blame us for being suspicious and concerned. Especially in these times." He said, his massive black from rising from the underbrush.

"Well then," Aenmwan said in a tone that could only be classified 'snotty', "you and your little friends get out of my way and I'll pass right on by. Just like I'd planned before you got in my way." He flipped the blade once then stuffed it back into the sheath. "I've got places to be. Much nicer places than this."

"Then leave immediately." Azrael said. "Why bother standing around when you could have simply left?" He said. "Let us leave." Azrael said to the others. "Its clear that this one has no intentions of hostility or consideration."
