Yesh. From the very roots of that worlds 'Age of exploration'. The earth just isn't appealing in a fantasy role play.

It's tough, really tough. I have to go through the history of every nation from their perspective alone while trying to keep all the borders closed. I have to find billions of reasons why no one ever went to another land and why people aren't enemies and why they're not friends so that the planets real history starts with the role players and not with the background. For the role play to be completely unique and open ended I need to do a lot of stuff like advertisment and bother people on my friends list that don't even know me and so forth. It's a pain in the a** but I need to get it done by the end of summer because then I start school and it'll be an even larger pain in the a**.
I haven't been able to get too much history done as of yet though because my cousin just got here from Cuba a few months ago (Legally, mind you) and they're all over at my house. There's no way I can get anything done until like 2 in the morning when they all go upstairs and even then, I'm sleeping downstairs on my couch while my uncle gets the sofabed... He snores...

Ah. Sounds rough. So, am I right to assume that you are of hispanic lineage? lol anyways, I'm also working on your mana. I'm thinking of doing like an entry in a mock encyclopedia, if that's alright. Do you have any names of important historical figures yet? If so, I'm like to use one to credit the report on mana to.

Yes, you can assume that. I was born in Cabaiguan but I was raised in America so I'm a very Americanized Cuban.
As of yet there are no historical figures but I plan on bringing those in with the histories of several nations.

Umm... I think it's more like a scientific theory that many mana users just sort of colaborated on... I guess. I don't think that something as blunt as my idea of mana can have just one focal point for everything...

i wasn't suggesting that it was one man/elf/dwarf/goblin that wrote all there is to know about the subject...I just wanted a name for right to put on this one theory i'm writing. eh, whatevs. I'll make up a few names for the scholars of the different schools of thought later on tonight.

Well, in Costellan history the Magistrate are the ones who made the border and took control of the land. In the Nivish Wastelands there is very little mana, there's more in the Nivish Greenards but they've just started getting the handle of it.
