I grinned, "Well, thats top secret, how is this, your going to like it." That was the spot where my best invention yet would go, using my study of my hi-tech sniper rifle and Vinc's energy rifle, I had created a design for the strongest turret ever made, it would go directly ontop of the airship, with a scope that could be used as a microscope from over 80 mies and shells made from lightning, that exploded as well as serving as an EMP device. It could destroy anything it hit. "It's too complex for it to fit on the ship's blueprints, it has it's own blueprints." I pulled a scroll out from my coat and spread it out, it could swivvle 360 degrees and had the ability to shoot straight up, the only escape from this weapon was below it. "Now its too large and heavy to be able to be put on either side, but, with just one, it wont hamper the airship's movement. Now all I need to do is think of a name....got any ideas?"

"Well, I like that, but that weapon will have to race me in my fighter." I smile. "I can dogfight against any ship. I can bring an airship to her knees. Now, in airship to airship and airship to ground attacks, yeah, I bet it would be very useful, so I guess we could name it the well, Scambler, because it will scarmble any thing in its way." I think fondly of my last dogfight. I was heading north while scouting for a good tomb. As the feds spotted me, they tried to blast me out. I had to loop, and then corkscrew my way to their six. I then shot them out of the sky. "Well, I like what you are proposing. How about making the whole airship impenetrable during an attack from the inside?"

Well, it is halftime, and I am bored, and my team is losing. So, I will post to make me happy.
I leave Drako in a hurry as Charlie yells into the intercom system. A fed aircraft was approaching! That could mean bad things. I jump into my flightgear, and grab my com helmet as I reach the hanger. The hanger doors open, and I jump into ARC I and then wait for the go. I taxi to the accelerator, and engage my brake. I thrust up to max power, and hope my engine adjustments would hold out. Charlie yells at me for my ready. I affirm and I shoot out, my brake being disengeged as the accelerator throws me out. "Woo-hoo!" I yell as I am hurreled into the air. I find my target on my radar, me being in radio silence for full stealth. I follow him out into more open skies, away from the city. I start to open fire on one, but an F-16 comes from my three o'clock, and I am forced to swerve away. Suddenly, both aircraft are upon me, and I must come up to max cruising height, and then dive. I confuse the F-22 and then come up on his six. I shoot him down with my missiles, and then try to find the F-16. No sight of him yet. He was stealth aswell, so I would have no way of finding him on radar. I double back, only enough to let the radiation of light from the city illuminate the sky. When I see a shape moving, I come to his six, and then shoot him down with my turrets. They followed where my eyes went, like the Apache helo. As he goes down, I fly a bit, making sure no other planes were in the vicinity, then fly around for pleasure. "This is ARC I. I am fine. The skies are beautiful. You guys should come out here! All of you!"

I shook my head and rubbed my ears, you never yelll over an intercom! As Vincent called out for everyone to join him I shivered, I was quiet embarassed, I..used...to fly. Sometime over my fit of...amnesia, I had gained an acute fear of heights, planes where ok, aslong as I didnt look down, but flying, that was another thing. I sighed. Sometimes my life seemed like a soap opera.

I do some rolls while I wait. "Charlie, patch me to Engineering." He does. "Drako, will you tell me something? Do you know how to fly a p-51 Mustang?"

I grab the communicator, "When I told you, sarcastically I might add, that I didn't know anything about planes, I meant it, I can fly, not fly a plane, or any other flying vehicle." I had ridden moto-cross for awhile, my favorite part was the cheating, melting tires wasn't that hard at all.

"Well, you could at least try, right? I guess I will teach you! Thats it," I say with excitement, "I will teach you how to pilot, and you will teach me magic."

My eyes widened, flying a plane? One of those hulking behemoths? I'll fly in one but I will NOT fly one. I grabbed the com, "No, no, your my cousin, er, half-cousin, consider it a make-up for missing all your birthdays." I slammed the com back in the hook and sat down hard shivering, I had seen planes crash. I did not want to pilot one into the ground. I jumped back up and yelped, memory came back like a fist to the face, I rememberd a detail of the day I 'died' I was fliyng when it happened, I remembered firing magic and then...black. I shivered more, finding the source of my fear did not mean it was gone.

I shake my head with amusement. "Fine Uncle Drako. I guess I will just let you have to be Chief Engineer on the airship. But I won't take magic lessons for free!" I do a flip, and then dive. "Oh! Drako, would you be so kind as to tell me what we should call our ship? I want to call it the Geraldine II, but it is yours and Scarlets aswell now, so you should help name it."

I picked up the com again and licked my lips, thinking, "I dunno man, I may be a genius, but alas, naming things was never for one such as me." I chuckled, "Ask Scarlet, she's always been creative." I smiled, that was one of my favorite things about her, she was always finding new and creative ways to....get me in trouble so she could hit me on the head, fond memories where all it seemed I had.

I pull from the dive. Well, at least I felt at home again. The skies must have missed me. "Well, I guess I shall. Are you at all finished with the placements of the defenses? How will she be when you get done? Impenetrable?" I think of my last airship. She was a fortress. Almopst a Leviathan class. "I want her to be the best in the skies Drako. I hope you know I trust you with that." I head back to the airship. I let the net catch my F-117, and get out. I head for Drako.

I nod at Vincent's approach, "Well you know the armor of tanks nowadays?" Vincent nodded, "If you made a spear out of that strengthened armor and honed it to a point of .000003 centimeters....it would break on this new skin I developed. This stuff would resist a direct attack from a, um I think its called a... leviathan class airship?, without much of a scratch if any." The new design I had was that of a dragons truthfully, stretching underskin protected by impregnable scales, the 'scales' with where 3 meters in diameter, where made of a material I had discovered when blacksmithing one day, made from equal bits steel, titanium, and magic, raw magic. I called it titansteel, strongest armor known to man, or vampire, or demon, or anything else known for that matter. I demonstrated, I grabbed a small chunk of steel and made a fire in my other hand, I burned it hotter and hotter until Vincent had to look away, I tossed him some welding goggles, I didn't need those, the fire grew in intensity until it was the same color as my eyes, about the color of orange lightning. I tossed the piece of steel into the air and caught it in the flame, before it hit it dissolved into vapor, I grabbed titanium, the same thing happened, then, I grabbed 3 meter scale of titansteel. I dropped the fire onto it, moved the fire around, nothing was happening, the dull bronze color was remarkable in the fact that in the light, it shone a deep blue. After a minute of firing it I put out the fire and showed Vincent the scale, nothing happened. "That good enough?" I grinned incolently.

"Nice. Now how about weapons? Have you anything besides that really complex thing you are putting up top? Cannons, bombs, missiles, nukes?" I say eagerly. I loved talking tech. I always got a thrill from it. Like it was a present, and I a child on Christmas morning. "Anything that would surprise me like this armor?"

Sorry! I have had a lot of school work and two speeding tickets that I have to pay and one of them I'm taking to court over. "There is so much more that I believe Drako could show you!" Scarlet appeared behind Drako scaring him quite good and Vinny laughing about it. Scarlet was wiping her hands of the grease that was laiden with it.

I smiled and shook my head at Scarlet."Please, like I didn't do that part first, the cannons have the same technology as the scrambler, they dont hit as hard but aimed right you could take down alot of the ships out there with one shot and it shoots faster than the scrambler too, the turrets are even better, ever thought of calling lightning down? These turrets are magic....literaly, they have two weapons on each, and there are four, they have the lightning strike, just aim at the ship and fire the trigger, and the manuel shot, a gun that shoots normal bullets....that explode with the force of a grenade. Rapid fire is great isnt it? The charges never empty, it literally has unlimited ammo. The battle drones are all those weapons with robotic interfacing, oh, and they fly as fast as stealth fighters. For all of these weaponsa nd armor.....give me two months and this will be the terror of the skies. Expect surrenders without a fight once its reputation starts up." I loved talking technology, inhereted from my father. My chest swelled with pride.
