Mitsuki looked at the beautifully arranged meal. "Oh, thank you, Sakura-chan." She bowed and sipped her tea. "I am glad that you are feeling better, recovering from what looked like a nightmare." She smiled and took out her fan. "I am so excited." Mitsuki began. "I am now maiko!" she said enthusiasticly. "Very soon you will join me, Sakura-chan. Very soon indeed." She smiled and took a dainty bite out of her cake. Mitsuki nodded her head in delight, signaling that she was enjoying the food. Post 15. Sakura almost choked onto her tea when she heard that Mitsuki-chan was now a Maiko. Sakura slowly bowed while murmering an apology that she didn't know. "I'm so Happy for you Mitsuki-chan! Congratulations! When did you become a Maiko? How is it?" Sakura asked enthusiastically. "I can't wait untill I join you one day! It will be so exciting!" Sakura said while giggling silently. "I'm so happy for you!" Sakura said once again forgetting all about her rice cake, but very happy indeed that the beautiful Maiko infront of her was enjoying something she had prepared for once. Yukiko was very happy and felt a sense for pride for both of the girls she had recently met. She sat there quietly enjoying their company, it had been so long since she could just sit and relax with other young ladies, espeically such kind and beautiful ones at that. Post 16. Sakura decided to break the silence so she slowly said, "So how long have you two been in this Okiya?" Sakura asked curiously. She slowly took a sip from her tea and resumed nibbling on her rice cake.

She smiled and looked up at Sakura's pretty face. "It will be most enjoyable when you too become maiko, Sakura-chan." Mitsuki thought for a second. "Oh yes, I wanted to give you something, for your generosity and kindness towards me." She reached into her sack and took out a beautiful pink fan, decorated with cherry blossoms and white birds. "Here, Sakura." She handed the fan to her. "It reminds me of you." Post 17. "Oh . . . That's very understandable" Sakura said quietly. She took another sip from her tea when Mitsuki-chan handed her a beautiful Fan, decorated with many beautiful decorations, and her favorite, Cherry Blossoms. "Wow . . . I . . . It's beautiful . . . "Sakura whispered tracing her finger along the fan and feeling the smooth texture of the designs. "Thank you so much!" Sakura said, planting a smile onto her face, while slowly bowing once more. "How can I ever thank you?" Sakura whispered still looking at it. "I've never had anything this beautiful!" Sakura exclaimed, laughing at her own statement. "Thank you . . . " Sakura said smiling and fluttering the fan at her as if she was a Maiko.

starr_angel "Oh Raina, what a nice name. I am happy to help. You'll be sharing a room with me in the back." Seikeida said as she headed over towards the room. Halfway there she noticed a new girl crying. Without a thought Seikeida took Raina to her room, told her to make herself at home, and quickly ran over to the teary eyed girl. Seikeida believed her name was Touitsu but she wasnt sure. she stood beside her and said," Konichiwa. Watakushi-wa Seikeida, desu.(English: Hello my name is Seikeida.)Welcome to the Mizunoyuri Okiya. Are you OK? Do you need help? If you do I can help." Seikeida standing there looking the new maid who was barely making eye contact awaiting an answer. 16th Post"Thank you" Raina said following Sekedia to the room. She watched the Okiya at work at she walked by, trying to get that "new home" feel. She saw her cozy room she would share with Sekedia and smiled a little. It was sometimes better than her parents that ignored her. Raina put her stuff down and started to unpack, wondering to herself what was wrong with the girl she had passed earlier. 3rd post

"Welcome Touitsu, I am one of the maids, Sadayakko. If you will follow me, I will show you the maid's sleeping quarters where you can put your things." Sadayakko smiled at the new maid.
She quietly guided the new maid to the room the maids slept in and kept their personal items. "While we are part of the Okiya now, our main goal is to serve the maiko and geisha as best we can. When we do not have assignments or directions given by a geisha or maiko, we do various chores around the okiya, and believe me, there is always something to do here. Once you have situated your things in here, you should come out into the main room and see if any geisha or maiko need help; if not, there's plenty of cleaning to be done!"
Sadayakko left the new maid to scrub the floors of the hallway. After scrubbing, she began the long process of polishing the floor to bring out the best in the wood; she wanted to present her okiya as best as she possibly could.

Yokome returned to her room after acknowlaging the newest maiko. She sat on her futon, thinking about the past. She had never been a maid. She was always a maiko. She has been a maiko for many, many months, but she cannot become a geisha until she has an older sister. Where in the world could she get one?
She walked over to the closet and opened a drawer and took out a comb and a hair ornament. She placed them delicately in her hair, being sure not to ruin her beautiful hairstyle. She was ready to go out once again. She walked through the halls of the okiya gracefully as though gliding. She still had a half an hour before departing. What should she do?

Iyasu stayed in her room and shook her head. She wasn't sure what to do. She laid back on her futon thinking to herself. There were so many new faces!
The young girl shook her head as she rose up from her futon. With soft foot steps she rolled open the room door and rolled it shut before going down the hall to the stairs. She smiled to Yokome before she left down the stairs.
"Hello?" The maiko called out to see if any of the maids were near by.

Sadayakko quickly made her way to Iyasu from across the room. As soon as she reached her, Sadayakko bowed before the maiko who had called out to maids.
"I am Sadayakko; is there any way I may be of service to you?" She kept her voice to a gentle murmur; she didn't want to cause a disturbance by speaking too loudly.

Kikaru sighed, Yokome had just asked her to go to the tea room then sort of wandered off. She went back into her room, sliding the door shut behind her and returned to her futon. She picked up the tea cup from the tray again and took another long sip from the cup. Was Yokome alright?

Seikeida walked over to where Touitsu was. And as she was unpacking Seikeida said to her, " Kindness is not of matter. Once you get used to the customs in this okiya or any okiya as a maid you get used to being kind to everyone. Hopefully I'll become Maiko soon and no matter what you are still you are kind. It gets to where it is a task in where you just know to do like breathing. Anyways I was glad to be of service to you. If you need any help I'll be there or if im busy you can always ask another maid. By the way my room is over there." Seikeida knew how Touitsu felt because not so long ago she had become a new maid too.
Seikeida went back to her room and helped Raina unpack. When they were done Seikieda started on a tour of the okiya to help Raina.
