"Of course I want you too!" Replied Yuna happily as she padded towards the hallway. "Oh!" Giggling the teen held up a finger indicating she'd be right back before dashing back into the kitchen. Small bangs were heard as the cabinets were opened and closed before she came back to Terrie triumphantly. "I nearly forgot my own favorite instrument." She explained holding up a small ocarina that was painted black with the moon and stars on it.
Her tail swished happily, "I accidentally left it here last time I stayed over and just now remembered it." She smiled, "I would go crazy without it to play on our next travel." Her colorless eyes gleamed with mild amusement as she thought about it.

Terrie smiled. Such enthusiasm in that teenager. It was refreshing to see. "It's lovely." She said, pointing at Yuna's ocarina. In her room she knelt down and opened her chest, pulling out a small towel. Unwrapping it revealed her gold colored lyre, leaf molds giving it a little decoration. She plucked at the strings randomly, smiling dreamily as her memory returned. She held it out. "Would you like to play with it first?"

"Thanks!" Yuna replied before bouncing inside after Terrie. Gently reaching out, Yuna trailed her fingers around the lyre and felt each small notch in the leaves with awe. "I....sure!" She gave in and taking the lyre carefully from Terrie, the teen started plucking some notes.
"I'm an amateur though..." She mumbled before moving her fingers over the strings and creating at first an unsteady melody that after a couple of minutes smoothed out into something random yet kinda pretty. Blushing Yuna held the lyre back out to Terrie, "Okay..." She giggled sheepishly, "I don't want to kill the lyre's beauty anymore. Your turn."

Terrie smiled while watching Yuna play with the lyre. She laughed when it was handed back to her. "I wouldn't have said you were killing it. You should expand on that little tune you did." She looked down at the instrument in her hands, plucking experimentally at a few of the strings. Within a minute, her fingers were playing the first thing she had been asked to learn. A lullaby that the old man said relaxed his aching bones. Her eyes held closed as the music came back to her, a small smile playing the happier time of her past.

Listening to the pretty lullaby that came from the lyre, Yuna smiled and after raising her ocarina to her lips the teen started to softly play along. Her tail flicked happily as she managed to blend her music in with Terrie's lullaby.
The happy sounds however were busted by two foxtaurs knocking on the door. "Yuna? Emris and I are done fer the day an' I was wonderin' if yer ready to leave?" Asked Xennek peeking inside with Emris right behind him. The male smiled before growing quiet as everyone listened to the music.
Emris smiled as he leaned against the doorway behind his cousin. Already the two had started on fixing things up for his...his children when they came and the foxtaur was already planning on all the things that he needed to make. He'd definitely confused Xennek though when he had asked for help remodeling the house this winter, but he told him that he had his reasons and so his cousin had agreed. Emris just hoped Terrie didn't mind what would become many visits from his cousins.

Terrie cracked an eyes open, giving her tail a flick to greet the males, but continued playing, the lullaby yearning to be heard. It was lovely with Yuna playing along, and she felt her fingers wouldn't stop themselves if she had even tried. When the song ended, she smiled and squeezed Yuna's arm. "Thank you. That was very nice to play again." She looked up at the males. "Done already?" She didn't bother asking what they had done, figuring she'd find out soon enough. She wrapped her lyre back up and into the chest before standing. "I hope you two can visit more often."

Xennek grinned, "Actually we're far from it." He chuckled and looked over at Emris, "I'm thinkin' that me and Yuna will visit a lot this winter." He added cheerfully before heading out of the room, "See ya in a couple of days, Emris..." Xennek quickly peeked back in the room and smiled widely at Terrie, "Nice to meet ye, lass."
"It was." Beamed Yuna happily before looking at her father with a confused expression. "I guess we'll see each other again really soon, Terrie." She giggled and quickly hugged the other female foxtaur before following her father out of the room.
Sighing Emris sat down in the floor and chuckled softly. "What a visit." He breathed while stretching out his arms. Looking up at Terrie he smiled warmly, "That was a beautiful melody you played." He commented looking at the lyre. "I'm sure the babies will love to hear that their mother can make such lovely music." He grinned still trying to get over the fact that he was going to be a father, "Their going to be very lucky you know to have such a mother." He added softly before scooting over to add a log to the fireplace.

Terrie smiled curiously, but happily. "And you." She said, waving goodbye. She looked down at Emris and sighed, sitting down next to him. "Thank you. I learned it from when I lived with the old man." Putting a hand to her belly, she leaned into Emris and closed her eyes. "I'd love to play for them." But her eyes squeezed tight. Emris had struck a point nagging the back of her mind. She'd never had a mother in her memory... how could she be good for the children? She pressed her face into the male's comforting chest and wrapped her arms around him, thankful that she had him by her side for the journey ahead. "Their luck of them having such a father should not be lost." She said, nuzzling her face against him.

Emris chuckled softly, "It won't...they will have double luck with two loving parents." He nuzzled her back before drawing her close to him in a gentle yet snug embrace. "We should move your things into my room..." He mused out loud with a soft smile. "If you're okay with that of course." Emris added quickly with a chuckle.
His tail twitched, "I hope you don't mind Xennek and Yuna visiting more....I need Xennek's help for some...remodeling." Emris finally admitted sheepishly. He didn't mind his family visiting, but he worried on how Terrie took to them. But it seemed as if they got along to him and he hoped that he was right in thinking so.

Terrie blushed gently, but nodded. "That sounds like a good idea. It's... probably time I moved into your room with you anyway." She said, realizing that they were not "officially" mated yet. It felt odd, but she was okay with it. She only knew it was considered different from books she had read before. She looked up and shook her head. "I don't mind at all. Yuna is a lovely girl. And Xennek.... seems nice enough." She said with a giggle. "Remodeling. So you told him." She laid her head back against his chest in relief. "That's good."

Emris sighed softly, "We'll get everything settled soon." He stated before blinking at Terrie sheepishly. "Well I didn't actually tell him the reason." He paused and ran a hand through his hair. "But I'm sure Yuna will..."
Holding onto Terrie, Emris chuckled softly and finally admitted to a suspicion of his, "You see I'm sure that teen was already on the stairs for most...of our later conversation." He blushed faintly, "Over the years I've learned that she's got great hearing and very silent pawsteps."
Emris smiled, "And I'd rather leave Yuna to tell her father than me." He laughed, "If I had it would've taken forever for us to get something accomplished today. He would've been all over me with questions." A small pause before he added warmly, "But I'm glad that you like my family so far."

Terrie giggled. "So what was that racket in the library for if it wasn't from telling him?" Then she nodded. "I figured. She seemed to keep trying to get me to tell her a secret, but I didn't know if you wanted them to know yet. So I didn't say anything."

Emris laughed, "That racket was me trying to get him to work for me without me telling him a pure reason why." Nuzzling Terrie he blushed sheepishly, "That's okay....because I didn't tell openly Xennek for the same reason."
Sleepy from all the work Emris yawned. "There's so much to do now..." He mused softly, "I need to take you to see Willow since she's a healer and then to get the house fixed up..." He trailed off as he started to sleep there in the floor as he had done the very first night that Terrie had came into his life.
Already dancing in his dreaming thoughts was the future of having a family that spring and all the new things that had and were coming into his life...

Terrie laughed. "I see. I can understand that." As expected, a yawn echoed from her mouth in responce to Emris'. Visitors, telling Emris about the babies... so much excitement in a short time had her sleepy for a nap. She stayed up, watching the firelight play on Emris' sleeping face, lighting it romanticly. She watched him sleep as long as she could before her own eyes drooped closed, and happy visions filled her mind of the future to come.
