[[Lol, it's ok Kouri! :] ]]
"Oh, no problem! Let's go help her out Miu-san!" said Eiji listening as their host explained that her necklace was gone. It must have been important to her if it came from her mother, so he decided to help her out as much as he could. Eiji headed towards the area that Kushina had pointed to and started to dig around the sand. It shouldn't have been buried that deep if it just fell, so he kept optimistic, thinking that it wouldn't be hard to find the item. He dug a little in a place and then quickly moved on to the next trying to cover much of the area Kushina had pointed out. It didn't seem like he was having much success proceeding like he was. "Any luck yet, Miu-san?" asked Eiji to the girl. DC: 10

(Not really sure we need to do this, we are aware of how D20 and exercises work XD but alrighty)
Miu stopped cold when the woman paused and began to talk to herself for a moment. She was looking as though something important was gone, and Miu understood why not too long after. It was just a moment later when Eiji began to search. Looking for a pendant in sand wouldn’t be too hard. Miu nodded to Eiji as he spoke to her and smiled to the woman before following after Eiji to the spot Kushina had pointed to. She was running pretty heavily and it wouldn’t be too hard for a thin chained necklace to fall off and land in sand that could be covered up the way she was running. Miu didn’t get down on her hands and needs and only squatted, her knees together in the lady-like manner she’d been taught as she sifted through the sands, darkened by how little light was coming from the soon to be gone sun. “Nothing yet, Eiji,” Miu said, waving in his direction before looking back at what she was doing.

Eiji kept looking around the sand not having any luck. He was looking down at the sand most of the time, so he hadn't noticed that he was distancing himself from the area that Kushina had pointed to. Maybe it wouldn't be as easy as he had thought as first. His back began to hurt as he had been bending down looking for the object. He stood up and looked around, hoping to see if anything shiny would catch his eye. Nothing of the sort seemed to be around him and he sighed. Well, he would feel very bad if he lost something that he valued so much like the necklace Kushina had just lost. "Uhm... Kushina-san, are you sure you had that necklace on when you came? Maybe you left it at home?" Eiji asked presenting a possibility.

Miu kept her eyes on the sands, noticing all the little disturbances in the way they it was positioned as she went through each handful. There were little mounds of dirt from where the woman had kicked up dirt, but other than that, it was basically flat sand. She looked to over to see if her fellow Yamanaka had any luck finding something, but apparently he didn’t seeing as he was questioning the woman. “Eiji, if it was so important to her that she would be scared it fell from her neck, I’m guessing that she wears it all the time when she leaves the house. And, if she left something she normally wears at her house, she’d be aware of it because of the sentimental value, right?” Miu looked over to Kushina as she questioned. With that said, she went back to looking through the sands to see if she can find a clue. “Keep your nose to the sand Eiji, you’ll find something soon if you don’t let yourself get distracted too much”

"Thank you so much," Kushina said gratefully before kneeling down and following her own tracks to look for the necklace too. Of course she couldn't just stand there and watch them! She dug in the sand and felt under the layers with her hands to see if they came into contact with something. She felt a blast of hope for a moment as her hands closed around something hard, but as she pulled it out she realised that it was just a shell. Well, it was a pretty shell. Kushina pocketed it.
A question from Eiji made her turn her head towards him, and she frowned and answered, "Well, my pendant's pretty big, and I was running pretty fast... I can still remember it banging on my chest.... yes, that's exactly it!" she said towards Miu's statements. "Sorry again to make you do this for me," she apologised as she dropped down again and began to look.

[[OMG FINALLY! biggrin ]]
"Sorry... stupid question, I guess..." said Eiji who didn't really have anything material that was valuable to him, so he didn't know how much Kushina cared for that object. Well, now that he knew for sure that Kushina had her pendant earlier, he could look more confidently for the object. Eiji nodded as Miu gave him advice on how he could be more useful at finding the pendant and decided to follow this advice. He observed Miu as she looked for the pendant and decided to copy her technique of finding it since it seemed that it would work sooner or later.

Miu nodded to Kushina once more as she thanked the pair for assisting her with finding her pendent. It wasn’t like it was a big deal or something, just what someone with any common courtesy would have done. Miu continued to sift through the sands around her as she spoke to both Kushina and Eiji once again. “You’re helping us find our way here, you’ve been kind to us so far, so it’s my pleasure to help you, really.” She smiled before her eyes turned to Eiji who seemed to have changed his way of looking through the sand. “Eiji? Have you checked in that spot yet? It looks like you over looked it…don’t miss anything or you could be over looking something important!” Turning her head back to what she was doing, she shrugged her backpack off of her shoulders to get a better movement with her arms without any pressure on her back.

"I'm glad to be of some help to someone who is helping out Kane!" exclaimed Eiji as Miu said that she didn't mind helping either. Eiji listened closely to what Miu had said to him about the spot he could have missed. He nodded at her and began looking very carefully through that spot; he grabbed a handful of sand and then looked carefully through it making sure not to miss if a chain or something was hidden within. A thought that would motivate him was the thought that the fastest he found that necklace, the fastest he would see Kane, whether he would manage to surprise him or whether his parents spoiled that surprise. He smiled at the thought of finally seeing Kane after about 4 years and kept looking for the precious posession of his escort.

[[I'm not sure if you meant if each of us finds a part of the pendant or what so yeah... >.>]]
Eiji kept on going with his little technique until finally he picked up a heavier handful of sand. He examined it very closely and a rather shiny object could be seen as the sand fell from his hand to unite with the other grains of sand scattered on the shore. Eiji looked at the piece of jewelry he had in his hand and held it up high. "Kushina-san, is this it?!" he yelled to the woman happy to have found something that could be what they had been looking for. He smiled at Miu before running towards the woman and holding the object in front of her for her to take and examine, hoping that it was in fact what they were trying to find.

[Sorry for the wait.. >.>;]
Kushina looked up to see Hiro holding something shiny up high. "Yes.... yes it is!" she said happily, her gratitude clear on her face. "Thank you so much, Eiji-san!" Taking it though, she frowned. "The string's missing, though... maybe it dislodged. Where could it be?" Looking at where Eiji found her gem, which was where Miu was, she mused, "It wouldn't have fallen far..." before running towards Miu, giving Eiji yet another grateful look and nod as she ran. "Let's work together, Miu-san," she suggested, digging in the sand and sifting through it carefully with her fingers.

Miu held a small smile on her lips as she continued to search through the sand. It seemed Eiji was listening to her and that was good. It was nice to help those around her. Whether it be giving verbal advice to Eiji or physical assistance to Kushina to find her necklace. It seemed that Eiji found the pendant, the next part would be finding the chain that it went on. “Yes.” Miu said quietly, nodding upwards towards Kushina after Eiji had handed her the gem of the necklace. There was a small area where the chain could have fallen. More than likely the gem slipped off before the chain fell to the floor since it was a slightly heavier object. Miu’s fingers brought up a handful of sand, letting it slide through her fingers before a thin string became evident in her fist. “Ah…Kushina? Is this it?” Miu stood and walked over the thin chain to the woman.

Since history seemed to be repeating where the past and present were colliding Shisei would take bitter joy into returning where it all began. At the shoreline. When his form came during the end of winter with Hyuuga teen he had not paid much attention to the return. The youth was angry that day. His skeleton would have rather stayed at the mansion of clairvoyant eyes. If for the only reason he got more things done. The only problem was the Hyuuga refused to teach anyone outside of the clan. Even within the clan there were some techniques that the Branch family members were restricted from and only Trunk family could learn. If such strict on their own members it did not leave much for the snake child to do, but spar against the others, read, train in taijutsu and train with Fenguang. As the sand beneath his legs crunched the boy’s run came to a stop and his legs slowly crept up to the shore. There were other people at the shore. Surprisingly at this time of the night. The banana colored eyes stared at a group of three people. One was a blonde and blue eyed woman much older than little snake. Or maybe not. Her looks were stunning enough that she had the appearance to be in her mid twenties. The other two seemed to be around the snake’s age. One was a male who was taller than child with banana colored hair that stood on end with a few covering his face. This person also had on a black hooded jacket. The other was a female who was slightly taller than the youth. This person was dressed as if the summer sky had wrapped her in clothing. Nothing else adorned her, but the color blue. Light blue dress, dark blue pants, blue ribbon in the head. She could easily camouflage into the ocean or sky on a beautiful day. The two children were similar to the elder woman. They were eye-catching, but those were only words to Shisei. The actual feeling to that was trapped so far deep in within an icy heart that one would have a better chance of finding gold within a glacier to find that emotion of Shisei’s. The snake youth kept his distance away from the trio and walked down to the where the cold ocean would just wash his toes. His eyes looked out towards the night and the snake kid’s mind began to contemplate things that only he would ever know.

Ayumi stared out at the sea as they were taken by boat to Shimagakure. Her mother fell asleep fast, being lulled by the swaying of the boat as it continued on its path. Ayumi on the other hand was tired but only after continuously staring for a long time with a few blinks, drifted to sleep. Her mother woke her up as the island came to view and they neared. Ayumi felt both excitement and nervousness well up from knowing she was going to live in a new place. Soon she and her mother stepped off the boast and took a few steps away. Where were they supposed to go now? Her mother reminded her that they were going to be met by someone.

The boy pivoted his head to the side to see a woman and a child coming off a boat. Perhaps the same boat that brought the serpent youth hair. Amber eyes stared at a girl his height with tarnished gold hair and blue eyes. This person also seemed to have affection for blue, but not to the extreme as other female on the other side of him. Accompanying this female was most likely a family member. Probably her mother. Watching the two leave the humble vessel was nostalgic in way to snake child. When the Orochi child had left that same raft from long ago he was alone, taking the words from the old python Onshu. It took nine months to find the island and make it over by boat. The boy was supposed to have two other companions coming with him, but they never made it…. Then once the youth arrived a giant monster had attacked that night. A leviathan, Samehada. As if the creature was trumpeting the arrival of the boy. At the time it took everyone’s cooperation to destroy the beast. The serpent child wondered if the beast showed up again would things go the same way. In the past there were some competent adults, but now… even with the new generation of genin. Then his mind began to wonder of how it was back then. At the time of the attack the snake child could not remember any students that stood out strong to him that night. Although at the same time his mind did not reflect greatly back to his past peers. It would be interesting though for Shisei to see just how much his capacity stacked up against the great beast of the seas now. Or how much he could see things did not change between him and the beast. With that thought the serpent child walked away from the shores the sand began to dissipate. He then began in a slow run to another part of the village.
