Link spotted the monster and immediately drew his sword, "Don't worry, I've got this," he smirked, then immediately began his charge at the monster. He was about to slice when suddenly he found himself frozen. Try as he might, Link couldn't move a single muscle, not even when the beast jumped ontop of him.

"Ah!" Bowie yelled out, as the monster started to... bite Link... But, Bowie quickly ran up, and gave the monster a quick sword slash, causing it to release Link.

Once released, Link swung the master sword and easily cut through the monster horizontally. The monster suddenly faded away, and the bars on the doors suddenly disappeared, "Thanks Bowie, I guess I should be more careful," he laughed as he held out his hand.

Bowie smiled, and shook Link's hand, "Yep..."
Soon, the bars on the door rose up, and a large, plain looking chest materialized near them...

Link was slightly taken back as the chest appeared, after all, things didn't aparate out of no where everyday. It could be a trap...but still Link could resist. He walked over to the nearby box and carefully opened it, fearing slightly with each creak that something would jump out at him.

Apparently, No traps were in it... but, instead was a strange compass, that pointed to the center of the temple...

Link stared down at the yellow needle of the compass. It seemed to be pointing to the right, or more specifically West, 'Either this thing is busted, or it's pointing towards something else. I wonder what,' Link thought then put it away in his bag, "Alright, onto the next room."

"Right!" Bowie said, and opened the door.
The next room was somewhat long, and had a little chest at the end of it... But, they couldn't shake the feeling that something else was there, on the walls...?

"This is way to easy,' Link thoughtr as they walked down the corridor, but still, as far as he could see, there was nothing he could see out of place. But as his eyes wandered, he noticed something odd about Bowie's shadow. It seemed larger then his own and seemed to be growing... fast. As fast as he could, Link pushed the boy out of the way and almost immediately a large black hand appeared. Link swung his sword, but the creature was to fast, already it had jumped back to the ceiling and once more was taking aim, "We'd better run for it," the blond advised. The two boy's raced down the hallway towards the chest.
Link felt a slight breeze from behind him and turned to see that once more the hand dropped and missed. This time, his reflexes sharpened and he managed the jab at the beast, deterring it's return to the ceiling. Now injured, it took only a few hits from the master sword before the Wall Master fell. Once again, the beasts vapors seemed to have a healing affect, restoring most of what Link had lost from the Redead.
With the hand now vanquished, Link casually approached the chest and opened it, finding within a small silver key, "Alright, I guess it's time to go find my friend, I'm sure she's worried about us by now."

SirBayer ((Ahh, but Arryl has an unbeatable trump card. Sofia.)) Grinning still, Arryl began to usher Sofia up the mountain, never letting the rapier leave her capture's neck. "Now listen. I don't want to have any nasty games going on, and I want a degree of trust. I want one simple task from you, and then I'll have done. We just need to go to the Temple of Fire and take care of this problem. If you fail to comply, though, I'm afraid I'll have to kill you, which is non-beneficiary for both of us. So come quietly, please. Deal?" Sofia's eyes flashed in fear as she listened to Arryl's speech.
"You foul..." she started, changing her mind about what she wanted to say. Instead, she kept silent, highly nervous.Gustaf and Vladimir were quickly making their way up the mountain another way, ready to catch Sofia and her captor at the top of the mountain. "I don't know what she plans to do with her, but she won't do it!" Gustaf growled, ignoring Vladimir's attempts to calm him down.

Zelda was in a round, windowless room that was featureless except for an enormous golden chest. She cocked her head and walked forward. Just as she was about to reach down to lift the lid, the world started shaking.
She blinked herself awake and looked up with sleep dazed eyes. "Link?" she asked softly, then gingerly sat up. "Is something wrong?"

"I was wondering if maybe you knew what this was?" Link asked as he drew the compass out of his pocket. He looked down at it as he handed it off the princess, the needle had changed direction and was now pointing north as it should, "I swear it wasn't working before, it was pointing East!" he yelled, his face reddening in embarrassment.

Zelda looked over at the compass, frowning. "Perhaps it is pointing to something new, something else you are supposed to acquire." Her frowned deepened. "Have you seen any gold chests?"

"No, but we did see a blue one," Link commented as he put away the compass and took out his key, "But we've still got more temple to explore, Are you feeling any better?"

Zelda smiled tiredly. "It's going to take more than a cat nap to restore my lost energy, I'm afraid. I probably won't collapse, if that's what you mean." She got to her feet, brushing imaginary dust from her spotless gown, before looking up with a much brighter smile. "Let's go."
