Raizer laughed "wow I think Kaome really likes her lunch" he looked out across canyon trying to pin point where he had last seen the guards they should be here by nightfall he thought before turning back to the others.

"Erm... Yeah! Lunch! Uh well... Why don't we all go back to my place? I'm sure lunch is ready by now and my parents always love company. Everyone can come. It'll be a party!" She said, grinning and rubbing her arm where Kaome had grabbed her, rather roughly.

"You would like food too if you haven't eaten in a few days." Kaome snapped. She then stopped and apolozied, "Sorry." She felt her stomach growl and wished she had eaten more of the bread earlier.

Ria stood up and stared blankly at Ryoga. He seemed dazed though, she was done she guessed....She walked to get the glass of water and took a sip.

"okay, i have my own agenda for helping. an old enmity between me and the most powerful man in the city has been building up again, and i need a good excuse to be out of there. i can assure you that i mean you no harm. in fact.." she took hold of a strand of sliver hair, and, wincing, tugged it out. she looked inside the small bag strapped to her belt, and took out a small lacquer box. the put the hair in there, and handed it to the girl. "if you want to you can enchant the hair so that i wont be able to double cross you. that is, if you know how." she looked at the girl. "its a pretty simple spell, not limited to any specific area, and its should be able to be done with any forms of magic." she chuckled. "i managed to do it myself once, actually, and i use weather magic. just a simple matter of Will and Word." She saw the man leave, it was a bit of a releif for her, she couldn't take much more of him. When she heard Rayne's proposition, she had to accept, "Fine, if you want to come with us then you can." Kin-Tall then whispered in Rayne's ear, "Although if you could teach me that wind shield spell? I know some wind magic, just enough to know how to control it. So if you could later?"

Aqua listened at the door of the meeting, her eyes widening. she nearly gasped, but help herself back in time. she resumed sweeping silently, praying silently that no-one would burst out. she could hear the people in there perfectly, even whilst cleaning.

Rayne looked at the girl, then nodded. "sure." she said quietly. speaking slightly louder, she said "so, i know that your looking for your" she nodded in the direction of the other girl, "brother, but i was wondering why?"

Ryoga smiled at Ria. "How do you feel?" HE asked as he walked over and placed the back of his hand on her forehead. "You don't have a fever or anything, so I guess you succeeded." He kissed her lightly. "Good job."

Ria rested her head on his chest and said, "Ok....now what?" She succeeded.....but what else was there to do in this boring wasteland?
She sat next to Haku in hopes of figuring out from Haku what to do. He hissed and the door opened. Her mother walked in, a key in hand. Ria lifted Haku up in the air while he was fidgeting. "Of course...." She thought to herself. "What is it mom?" Ria asked. "Well...what are you doing?its sunny out....why are you guys staying cooped up in your room?" Ria's mother said slowly. Ria gave her mmother a lasting glare, and she left the room. "I have a great idea." Ria said. She opened the door and followed her mother down the stairs quietly. "Go boy," SHe whispered. Haku zoomed from Ria's grip as soon as she loosened it. As Haku jumped with him teeth out straight for her mother's leg, Ria yelled fakely, "Haku no...." Her mother screamed and ran. She got a broom and tried to hit Haku. Ria ran in an picked up Haku and her mother bopped her on the head with the broom; leaving Ria's glare at her mother. She climbed the staris again, and giggled as she walked back into the room. "That was entertaining." She said as she sat on her bed and looked up at Ryoga. He was just standing there, clearly lost in thought.

((If you have read Dragon Riders, they portray brownies as cats. I'm following that, because AquaPheonixia was the first to mention what brownies really were...))
Rachel stared at the others, confused. They were talking about food and such, and suddenly, she felt her stomach growl. Roulu stared up at her and sighed.
Is there anywhere we can get something to eat? Rachel is hungry... he said loudly.

"Yeah, I said everyone could come to my place for lunch. Kaome looks like she'll eat a person she's so hungry! Plus, I kind of feel like I owe it to you guys. Come on, follow me, I live at the bottom of the canyon but it's not too far away from here." Nai replied and she started off down a path that headed towards the damp base of the city.

She said giggling as the cat lept to her shoulder, "And don't worry kitty, I'm quite certain we have plenty of mushrooms, we do live in constant dampness down at the bottom after all!" She scratched the Brownie under the chin, hoping he'd stay on her shoulder. She loved animals, but her adopted parents would never let her get a pet since they thought her too wild to be responsible.

Ryoga smiled and laughed a little. "I think your mom knows you told Haku to do it." He said as he walked up to Ria and kissed her softly on the lips. "That bit there was your training for today, now we can do whatever your mom thought we were doing." He laughed a little at his own statement as he continued to kiss her.
