That stinks, being told nothing.
I have a lot of characters who get told nothing. They make good comic relief.

So a) I went early and learned everything from the previous supervisor so when my supervisor showed up I guess I seemed inattentive cause she doesn't really like me I don't think, so I ended up unloading an industrial dishwasher for more than 4 hours.
My fingertips are all scalded from the hot water and my feet hurt like hell.
We're supposed to get take out from the dining hall if we work closing shift (which I was) but because I was in the dishroom my supervisor 'forgot' to tell me to get food, so I have no dinner. I"m not sure if this was true forgetfulness or what, but I'm damn hungry and all our dining halls are closed.

Money is always money *shrug* (is used to taking just about any s**t to get money, haha)
But yes, when you have a horrible boss, work will be unbearable, so I feel your pain.
There is one job I would not recommend though, working at a fish factory. God, must have been the worst work I've ever done, it was so depressing and disgusting.

Yeah I'm not planning on working a fishfactory. The smell in my mind is bad enough. At my college if you're a freshman the only work study job you can have is in the dining hall. This sucks cause I got a job offer from both computing services and the art collection cause they thought I was a sophomore...*sigh*

You wanna know a secret? All jobs are teh suck. Careers are okay, but just plain jobs are all horrid. Take it from me- I have been working my 'job' for several years and it is literally tearing me to shreds.

*pats EKA on the head and hands her some chocolate biscuits*
Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger...
Edit after reading Talon's post: Yep, that's why I prefer studying xD
