The ONLY time I've reused a character is when the same RP restarted, with many of the same characters and exactly the same layout and much the same story so far. It died last fall, and we all loved it so much we restarted this summer, and hopefully this time it will survive the start of school. And even so, I've tweaked the character a bit, because I've had a year to reimagine her. <3
Oh man, I just rediscovered my notes for my elemental roleplay. :3 *gets back to work*
*remembers PS application sitting patiently on her desktop*

Getting attached to names can be bad as well, since you never know when that character will die or will or should be killed. ^_^
No one wants to have their character with their favorite name suddenly die in an RP.

Unless, of course, they had an ulterior motive of bringing their character back from the dead in order to make them more powerful.

If I had as much attendance as I've had previously in the year, I'd kill for some Harvest Moon or something similar. x3 Especially if the applications didn't allow pictures for appearances.

Say, that's not a half bad idea..
But how would you turn Harvest Moon into an RP?
The Crop cycle and market, etc. would be rather difficult to emulate.

Okay. I have a big rp idea project I'll be working on. For now its titled "The Superhero One". It's going to be very character based. Nominally, its plot is that the worlds mightiest hero loses his powers. They stem from the sun and its rays. Problem is that he was so powerful the world didnt need any other heros until then. I'm wanting to make these characters very human and flawed. The main character I'm developing for this idea is an alcoholic truck driver from a broken home. If anyones interested then I'd like to talk more about it over pm to develop it.
