Vertigo_Kiwi It's about the same, but I thought maybe it would have lightened up by now. Mentally and physically I just freak out. My heart beats fast and I start panicking. Especially when it's dark, which it always is when I get out of class, and when I'm near other cars. Basically, I'm so nervous about driving that I only do what I have to (to and from school) then I just sit at home. I know it's normal to feel some anxiety and stress after an accident, but how long can it last. As long as it takes to get over it. If you're concerned- seek professional help.

It would be such a lovely world where instead of people telling me what I was thinking, feeling and doing- they asked.

I'm changing my e-mail. I am tired of missing memos.
Apparently this last one was really important. I am both male and Christian.
Maybe I just have my spam filter on too high.

Nuri No child left behind really sucks. Heartily agreed. I've seen a lot of schools hurt badly by it.

Vertigo_Kiwi TeaDidikai Vertigo_Kiwi I'm beginning to think I've developed Post Traumatic Stress Disorder because of that car accident I was in. It was 2 months ago and I still feel so much anxiety about driving. I don't know, is 2 months a long time or a short time to get over something? On a lighter note, I downloaded music from iTunes for the first time last weekend! It was easier than I thought it'd be. Is your anxiety getting worse? It's about the same, but I thought maybe it would have lightened up by now. My boyfriend got into a car accident when he was 14 years old and got a back injury that will be with him for the rest of his life, which he had to go to physical therapy for. He began to feel normally after about 4 years but it was also exacerbated by the fact that his brother was learning to drive and during one road trip he was allowed to sometimes drive. This was when he was 18. My boyfriend is 20 now and sometimes has panic attacks during bad driving conditions, but this may have also been aggravated by his anxiety disorder. I'm not saying this is what will happen to you too but maybe it'll help you gain some perspective. You should check to see if you got an injury from the accident, if you haven't already. My bf didn't know he was injured until a week later. If you feel the need, don't be afraid to seek therapy.
