So, I'm thinking we should really finish that Almost Human rp guild. I think it could help jump-start some ideas--and maybe let us explore other ones a bit more. It would also be a good way of just writing something we could possibly use with the book itself.

I hate making character profiles, toooo. And in addition to finishing Ashton's and Kyle's, I have to make profiles for Eli, Chloe, Chloe's brother, Cheryl, Lilith, Rowan (formally known as Hrafn), the queen of the Unseelie Court (who still needs a name), and the demon whose name I've forgotten.

...I have a lot of unnamed characters.

Yeah, probably. I have a stronger idea as to what the backstory actually is now, so that shouldn't be too difficult.

Of course, we could always start roleplaying without the finished profiles and backstory. That stuff was mainly going to be for if we invited people to join in who weren't familiar with the story and characters.

Some are more pivotal than others. Like, Chloe's brother is currently not only nameless but also little more than an idea for comic relief. You know, seeing as Chloe is based off of a certain sister of ours, and her brother is based off a certain... well... brother. xD

I just kinda want to write up a profile--no matter how bare--for each character so I can keep them straight.

Haha. I forgot about Cassidy, too. And Cameron and Keenan. They're Conan's brothers, right? Or half-brothers? I can't remember now if they were supposed to have demon blood as well or if they were just plain human.

Now that I think about it, I forgot Alima and her family. And another vampire whose name I can't recall. I had all this info on my laptop, BUT THEN IT WENT AND DIED ON ME.

We should probably come up with angel characters to balance out all our demon and demon-related characters.

Well, that's the point--I don't! It's why I keep forgetting that they exist. gonk

I don't think so. Not that I can remember, anyway. But I want seriously creepy eldritch abomination type angels. Not just winged people, ya know? I mean, they might appear as people, but under the human skin there should be some kind of horrifying monster. You know, in keeping with biblical canon. wink

Well, I have a bunch of minor characters as well. When it comes to main characters, it's really not that bad.

Indeed. xD It helps amp up the horror aspect of the story, too. You know, assuming we do it right.

I think I tend to have more because I work on most of the plotting stuff. So I think up characters to fulfill certain roles. And I have some ideas for Cassidy. emotion_dowant

It's his career that really makes the character for me. The whole "put a cop into a supernatural situation and see what happens" has been done before, but it's still an interesting concept.
