I write fanfiction on rare occassions... I dunno, I just find my original stuff so much more fun. Cause it has Sabreur and his firebombs, undead penguins, vampires, conspiracy, hot villians, questionable good guys, and pissed-off-at-world Guardians. Mmmmmm.
Oh heyes. I got a SPEAR for Christmas. JOY. BLISS. POINTY WEAPONS.
I -know- the plan is to get good at sword and shield before trying a different weapon... I -know- polearm is a couple years off.... but dangit... once I get back to BG I'm asking Dan to teach me at least how to hold and make a couple basic moves with that thing.

Lucca Ashtear Two words: Mary Sue. I remove myself in chapter four. And I apologize for what I'd done to Magus's character in the previous three. I've put myself in some if not most of my stories but they tend to have been based on roleplays I did, or stories to piss off my friends.

Shianu Lucca Ashtear Two words: Mary Sue. I remove myself in chapter four. And I apologize for what I'd done to Magus's character in the previous three. I've put myself in some if not most of my stories but they tend to have been based on roleplays I did, or stories to piss off my friends. I was much, much worse than that. Remember what I said about mangling Magus's character...?

When I changed the love interest to be Lucca, though, it got a whole lot better.

Ahh.... love interests. I'm a big fan of the subtle ones. Yanno, the "there's a story going on and oh yeah, these two characters are absolutely adorable together." Like... bad example, but well-known: Hermione and Ron. Or Lupin and Tonks, altough Rowling blew it for setting that one up, but hey, not everyone has been force-fed literature until they're ready to choke on it/change their minor to business instead of creative writing like I did.
Frankly, I adore Rowling's writing cause it's got the "I can do whatever the hell I want" style. College-level writing classes ruin people, I swear.
Rambling! Sorry! The talk of fanfiction has just got me on my favorite topic of all.
Aaaaanyways. Hrm. I think the most fanfiction I've ever done was some NeoPets stuff, altough I dropped outta that cause I'm too violent for the neo-censors now. I'm too scared to try fanfiction with something like Chrono Trigger cause I like it too much to risk mangling a character.
Altough. Hrm. *thinks* Yeeeeees precioussss.... we DO have a plan to piss off fangirls everywhere..... we shall be writing tomorrow. twisted

I've written some fan fiction, though nothing I could say I'm really very proud of. Some of it really couldn't even be called proper fan fiction, because the only thing my story had in common with the original was the setting and society.
I'm really not all that good at writing stories anyway... I mean, I can come up with good plots and characters, but I'm better at depicting moments in my writing than plots. As in, it's a little too near-sighted for a long story. I suppose that you could interpret that to mean that I would be better off trying my hand at poetry, but I'm too attached to regular sentence structure. Paragraphs > Verses for me.

Kiddo the fox-phoenix Aaaaanyways. Hrm. I think the most fanfiction I've ever done was some NeoPets stuff, altough I dropped outta that cause I'm too violent for the neo-censors now. Hehe, when I used to go on Neopets I almost got banned because I roleplayed a gay character, and wrote mini stories about him and his family, *Shrugs* I don't see the problem with it, he was apurple thing with spots ><

Ugh, all you people make me feel lazy. gonk
I love to write, but whenever I try to fore myself too, it comes out like crap. I need to write more though, so it blows. crying
As for fanfiction, I've only written two. Neither of them I finished.
I also have a bunch of half written ones, but I never got around to finishing them.

'tis very well written, and preserves his character admirably. I accept that in some games, he does die - even though I did cry once when I had to do that myself, to get the Frog-is-human ending. I don't think I even would have killed you in the years when I was totally rabid and in love with him. You got his appearance right, too! I hate when the bad fangirls turn him into something he's not. That's the one thing I did right in the first three chapters of my own fic... he wasn't some generic bishounen in his twenties. I made sure to clearly state that he was not an attractive man. Hey... I never gave you a link, did I? It's not finished and it's twenty-two chapters already, but I think that, apart from the first three, it's pretty good. You cried when you had to kill him? That's a better response than me, I guess... I never killed him, but my brother did, and I yelled at him and even punched him for it. sweatdrop

Oh, the tears weren't even that bad for the killing him part - I'd steeled myself beforehand, telling myself that it wasn't the real Magus - the real Magus was the one in the game where I DIDN'T kill him, and besides, I could always start over again. It was much worse at his castle, defeating him the first time, in my regular game.
I hadn't prepared myself then, and his general badassness plus the mood lighting of the scene, coupled with the presence of my favorite cape-blowing animation at which I could stare at for ages and sigh... I was severely demoralized for the duration of the battle, even though I knew he'd be fine, and I had to stop playing as soon as it was over, go up to my room, and lie there in shock for a while. I just kept repeating in my head "I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." but it didn't really work. My desire to never hurt him was THAT BAD.

I'm sorry, what were we talking about? The death of a character from Chrono Trigger. O_O I actually never killed Magus. I've killed Chrono a few times for my own amusement though.
