Lisan leaned back just enough to clear the kick then went back to his original position. The ancient was not fond of ether of the two just yet. "Honestly, can you not tell the difference between a vampire and a demon?" Not only was the fool outnumbered three to one, but he was starting a fight in a place of peace. All kinds were welcome inside the manor. And a great many creatures called it home.

Kashan suddenly felt as if he was being watched. His old position made him very sensitive to such things, he followed his gut when ever the feeling rose. he looked to the corners of the ground and managed to pick out a figure. If this was an assassin then it was poorly hidden but then again the manor did not tend to allow such people onto the grounds without knowing it. "Can I help you?" he called to who ever was standing there.

Shadow patted Selena's arm. "If there is no body then there is no proof. I know it has been a long time but he is still out there along with Resu. Just give it a little more time before you go to sleep okay. Promise me that." Said Shadow. he knew Selena was in a delicate state right now. The children had their own lives and she was alone for the most part but Shadow had learned in his time that such people never do really die. "Have a little faith." Said Shadow. "Well, i had best get back to Luna. She requires me presence." Said Shadow before leaving. he did feel a little bad leaving Selena alone when she was int hat state but there was nothign he could really do now. He just walked back to his room so Luna could take her revenge.

Sajuuk barely looked over, "We can go to them eventually. Right now I do not want to think of it." he said. He was just happy to be where he was right now, not wishing to think of the elders or anything else. He had much else to contemplate right now. "Besides, i do not think Skadi will let us just wander off. She wants to have some fun. Why don't we just go outside and talk of that later." Said Sajuuk.

Kashan was more than just a little confused by now. it was obvious that no one else was around to do the job properly if someone had strayed to the back of the grounds. "Are you looking for residency here miss?" he asked. It was hard for him to tell if this lady was supernatural in nature so he had to choose his words carefully. In all actuality he was tired and when he was tired he had trouble figuring things out. "Or just looking for a place to sit by, rest up, eat a little before moving on?" Kashan was not very good at any of this, Shadow, Sajuuk and some of the other had this down to a fine art.

Pan's vision was slowly returning and she frowned, confused at his questions. Her legs gave in under her and she collapsed to the floor, her weak skin scraping on the harsh ground. It was an odd feeling for her. She never got hurt except in a fight.
"Why don't you go to sleep? Why are you still awake? Why is this town so fruitless? Why are there an absence in dreams? Why can't I track them if there were any? Why..." her voice trailed off as she stared into his confused eyes.
"Where are the dreams and hopes?" Her voice was hoarse, her breathing uncontrolled and her face became all the more hollow with hunger.

Kashan was now more confused than before. She spoke words that made little sense to him given the lack of context. All this talk of sleep and dreams just went over his head. "Okay miss.... let us just get you inside." he paused a moment to think maybe, getting close was a bad idea but he had to help the poor girl. "Let me help you." Kashan knelt down next to the woman at first, not wishing to appear threatening and just hoping sense would be followed soon.

Sajuuk broke his gaze for a moment, "Not everyone succumbs to the true death. Some find a way back." Said Sajuuk to Rose in hopes of calming her mind a bit about her mother. Then Sajuuk followed Rose, he was about to take Skadi outside after her food anyway but well now that Rose was here everything would just go smoother.


A car pulled up outside the manor gates, a man with blonde hair looked through the side window at the building. A lot had been heard about this place, stranger goings on, missing persons, strange activity in form of lights and fires. No one wanted to investigate this place but he would, he had no real choice but to investigate. Far too many people were going missing and too much pointed here. He checked his pistol one last time before getting out of the car, better safe than sorry. Any psycho could be living here or numerous psychos even. He pushed open the main gate and started his cautious walk to the manor door.

"You will understand one of these days dear." Said Sajuuk. His attempt at comfort probably did not work so well but then again he never was one for comforting people. "Yes, she really does. She defiantly has a lot of energy." Said Sajuuk "This garden must have seen a lot of this sort of thing over the years. So many people grew up here and nowhere else. Running around these gardens, looking up at this same sky. So strange." Said Sajuuk.

John was walking towards the door and noticed that it had been damaged recently with people fixing it up, the grounds also looked very well kept. Normally this would set some peoples minds to ease but this made him a little more worried. He could just feel it now that he was close, something was defiantly not right with this place. he was heading back to his car, he was going to call Dorian and get some more people up here but before he could finish dialing the number he saw someone, a woman. her eyes an odd shade of blue that did not seem natural, a white dress that seemed so familiar that his head began to hurt trying to place it. Something was not right but he did not care, he had to find out who this woman was, lucky he was out of uniform right now. He approached the woman "Excuse me miss?" he said.

"One day i will explain it all. Just not now," Said Sajuuk. Now was not the time for any of that. It was time for Skadi to enjoy having her family around before it was time to leave again. "A lot of people grew up here... hard for me to think. Just seems so strange." Said Sajuuk. Some of this had still not completely sunk into his mind or perhaps he was not letting it sink in just yet due to the tasks they had at hand.

John found himself string a little now when really he should not be, especially after her hat had blown off. "Oh my apologies," he said now noticing that he had been staring for a little too long, "My name is John Maxwell Luther... the third. and you are?" Said john politely, his more upper class background was beginning to show for some odd reason and that was something he never let show normally. "I suppose you could say I am a little lost, just sort of wandering around, seeing the sights and all of that stuff."
