Oh... Well damn. Looks like they were postponing that ride.
"Hey, it's okay. She couldn't have gotten far. We can go and find her if you want." Tommy replied. "I... really haven't seen her around before. I'm not sure if she lives anywhere close or not. I... haven't seen any kids like that around and about here before."

"Can we try to find her?" Julie asked with more than a little relief in her voice, "Yes, we need to try!" Without even thinking, she wrapped her arms around his neck in a quick embrace and kissed him.
Then, after about a second, she realized what she did, and broke it, an almost embarrassed look on her face. "Um... I meant for the first time we did that to be a lot, well, sexier..."

"Hey... we can always try for a redo later if you want." Tommy replied, trying to sound suave. Little hard to do when his heart was pounding in his chest and his head was spinning a bit.

"I'll take you up on that, if we get the chance," Julianne said to Tommy with a bright, genuine smile as she let him go. She walked around to her side of the Focus, saying, "I don't see her, so we'll at least drive around the block to look for her." She pressed a button on her key chain, and the doors made the audible click of locks being automatically undone. "Get in. I'll show you how my baby opens up, if we get the chance, too."

"Alright, she couldn't have gotten very far." Tommy said as he moved to get into Julianne's car. A smile still on his face as he did so. Partially due to the prospect of getting some more one on one time with Julianne... partially because the car kept looking better and better the closer he got to it.
Meanwhile, a little red head girl had ducked into an alley after feeling that she was far enough away from the red car to not be seen. Rosie looked back at the opening of the alley, then sighed deeply. "Well that was close." she muttered.

Julianne got in, buckled up, and started the car. The engine was loud and deep. As Tommy got in, she said, "Buckle up."

Tommy slid into the seat, and immediately buckled himself in. "Alright, ready to go." he replied. This was a REALLY nice car.
Rosie looked around the alley for a moment, then pursed her bottom lip and huffed. Alright. This was supposed to be the alley she was supposed to come to, right? She knew her mom was still in stealth mode, but she was expecting at least some sort of... hint or something. There was no mist or anything around here though. Maybe she was in the wrong alley. She... had sort of gone off on her own to try something out.

Julianne shifted into first gear, got the car moving, and quickly shifted into second gear. "Keep an eye out for that little girl," Julianne said, stating the obvious.

After looking around the alley for another few minutes, the child decided that Gossamer was in fact, NOT here. Sighing to herself, the child moved back out of the alley to try another one.

As the girl stepped out, Julianne spotted her. "oh, thank God!" she said out loud, steering the car towards her, slowing down.

Tommy looked over towards the other side of the street as Juliane began pulling over. "See? Didn't get very far."
Rosie had just stared to step out around the side of the building when she noticed car lights moving towards her. She turned her head towards the lights, and froze when she seen the familiar red sports car moving towards her and pulling towards a stop.
"Ah s**t..." she hissed under her breath. Not very lady like of her, but momma wasn't here to hear her spout the vocabulary she was picking up. Plus... she clearly wasn't back home as she had just told the nice lady she was going to be. Which meant she either needed to come up with an explanation really quickly, or make herself comfortable for a nice little trip in a car to ride around. If they didn't take her straight to the police for being lost or a presumed neglected child.

The car stopped, and the passenger window rolled down; Julianne had controls for the windows and locks in her door.
"Hey, little lady," Julianne said, concern in her voice, "This doesn't look like that building you said you lived in. Why don't you get in the back, and just tell us the truth?"

The little girl blinked once, then placed a finger up to her bottom lip and looked back at the alley. "I was just following a kitty cat. I wanted to bring it home and give it some milk, but it ran up a fence." she said, then looked back at the passenger door. "And momma says I'm not allowed to get into a car with a stranger."

The little girl blinked innocently, then glanced back down at the alley. "No... but mommy loves cats. We have three other kitty cats at home. Sasha, Felix, and Nala. Felix is really fluffy." she replied, looking back at Julianne.
