Landa, I know how you feel! Ajudicators can either be really nice or an evil hell spawn! I'm in both normal and chamber classes. Last year we attened contest and both got torn to shreds. But this year they were really nice and only talked about the most minor dinamic issues. They REALLY confuse me...

Yeah, she said that I was very 'precise' and that my trills were magnificent. WELL, considering I played the piece quite well from my perspective, using my style, I think I deserved a bit more than an 81.
They are confusing. If you play a song a different way, they'll either love it or hate it. In this case, she hated it. stressed

Last time I got crit was with the school band (our conductor is awesome, by the way), and the only qualm the ajudicator had was that we were so serious looking. We got gold and best band... I forget our score, though. O_o;
The only thing I remember from when I was alone (violin, a couple years ago) was that I needed to loosen up during the cadenza and clean up the vibrato. Which I'm not good at. At all. sweatdrop

Last time I got crit was when I was auditioning for the performing arts school (I got accepted and am going next year). The dude said my arm need to be further forward on the bar. But then he followed up with a nice pirouet (sp??) remark. I was happy.

I just... Blah. I kinda... Fell deep into my depression again. ::falls over:: And I didn't feel like doing ANYTHING. I honestly tried coming back to RP... But I just couldn't. I wasn't interested in doing anything that I used to... It's slowly coming back again, though... Maybe I'll try to join one or something... ::sighs a bit::

I feel almost in the same boat, but not really. I can't even explain it. I wish someone could just tell me what I am feeling and how to deal with it.
I want a treasure hunty piratish RP. If I get around to making one I expect everyone to join. Because who can say no to water and wierdo pirate talk??
Arr! This page be claimed for the wiedo pirate talk that be considered so wonderful in me head!!
