Anonymooo Gotcha, Trei, whose name I for some reason COULD NOT TYPE IN CORRECTLY, constantly calling you Teri. xd Would any of ye know how I could go about making a banner for this guild/tournament?
Pick a pic, and come up with some catchy text?
As to the name; trust me, I've been called Teri, Trie, tory (wtf?), Tree...alot of names.

Yes, it is true that in Japanese katana is a 'catch-all' word for sword, but katana specifically means - and as it means to most people - the type of sword that is a curved, single-edged sword traditionally used by the Japanese samurai.
Now, I've never heard of a choutou, do you mean the chokuto? And the ninhontou? Never heard of it, but then again I'm not the dictionary on japanese weapon terms. =/ Now there is the ninjato which is the straight-bladed supposed weapon of the ninja - although it is unlikely they would use it as it basicly shouts: "IM A SPY KILL ME NOW". They would probably use the daisho.
=/Choutou: "Great sword" or "giant sword." Refers to the very LONG-bladed cavalry sword, sometimes called a "nodachi" or "extended sword." "Chokutou" is another pronunciation. And finally, "katana" specifically means to AMERICANS, much like "anime" or "manga," a Japanese-specific item. (I still find that hilarious. "No, cartoons and anime are different!" ********' idiots.) But all technicalities aside, I just felt like pointing it out, and English is such a diverse language that it can accommodate all manner of terminology for all manner of things. 3nodding

Trei_Shouri Pick a pic, and come up with some catchy text? I was actually thinking of making an original pic, which is why I'm trying to figure out what specifically to do. I also wanna make one for my character... always tougher than it sounds. xd

An irresponsibly big gun, in the monstrous .454 Casull caliber. xd CLASH, my busy schedule is free now (meaning I'm not playing Super Punch-Out or Final Fantasy VIII) and I need somethin' to draw. Anything in particular you'd like for a banner for the tourney?

Well, I saw you mentioning that, and damn, I just remembered you're an awesome artist...but hmm. I'm usually not that great with coming up with ideas, and the people that have made banners so far have all made some pretty cool ones. The only thing I can think of is like the traditional colosseum warrior type image, with some dude standing on a mound of bodies in the center of an arena or something, which I guess is kinda cliche. I'm sure you can come up with something cool.

The 1K's for the purpose of the prize pot, and thanks for coming.
And an angle from like behind and to the right of a mage with both arms thrust forward, pulling off a Hadouken in the direction of a giant mech to the right of the image, looming there facing the mage and "viewer", would be awesome.
