"Well, do as best as you can manage. I think you will be fine disguising yourself and Kakashi. After all, if you can pass the test for the shawl, you can make an Illusion without getting caught." Mercury said, smiling as her old humor returned.
"But that's all for tomorrow. For now it is late; perhaps we should all get some rest, and then we can tackle problems in the morning." Mercury couldn't tell if she was tired or not, but her mind was running in circles.

Nodding to it all and shrugging off the shared knowledge that the wolves would likely send what they thought of as important, if they sent anything at all. "It is late. I'll be retiring myself shortly." With that he nodded to the Keeper and gave Alina a quick look that said he would head for the room before her and remain there. As he turned to leave, he realized he was rather tired, but did not let it show, of course.

Mercury nodded, and bid Kakashi good night. Once Alina had also left, she sighed a moment, before realizing that Wolf was waiting for her, out by the Tower woods. It wasn't as though she was accomplishing anything here, so it would be a welcome distraction. She hadn't gotten to talk to him after all.
"I'll be back soon Hawk. Wolf has been waiting, and who knows what will happen to keep me busy next...." She smiled half heartedly at the feeble joke, and left.
Once she got to the wood, she found Wolf just inside the border of the wood. He was lost in his thoughts it seemed, staring at the ground, but as he approached, he looked up. "Close the bond? I'd rather talk to you before facing the others."
Mercury shrugged, and closed the bond with Hawk. She could still sense him partially, from the part of Wolf's bond, but it vanished in seconds, as she assumed Wolf had closed his part of the bond as well.

Romvian awoke from his sleep, and refreshed himself, before turning through the pages of a tome. The desk was strewn with maps of all kinds. He only needed the last bit of information, which it was possible the Tower had, and he was sure the Keeper would give it to him. If she didn't, then he would just reveal to the entire Tower that the Amyrlin was not to be found, and put her in a corner. Darien was depending on him, and as for Oryzen, she had no particular ambitions at present, simply saying she would wait until she needed something. If he ended up having to conquer the Tower, then he could always put her at its head. She was more than capable of handling those women who were nothing more than unleashed da'mane, and certainly no match for his forces.

Hawk just looked at her as she get inside a gateway and off to the woods. She always do what she thinks is right even though it could indanger herself, which makes him worry so many times. For a moment he could still sense her presence somewhere north and the suddenly fade. She chooses to block the bond between them again. Nothing he can do about it.

The later part of the night found Mercury and Wolf in the branches of one of the trees, talking, while Wolf managed to scowl at the same time. She had filled him in on everything about Romvian, and told him that Clarissa was missing. He hadn't taken that news well, and after a few minutes of calming him down, resumed. Everything retold, they turned to somewhat lengthier discussions, about how she would take the news when she returned, because as Mercury pointed out she refused to let Clarissa stay in Romvian's clutches.
Suddenly, there was a strange tug on her mind, and the shock of it caused Mercury to jerk up, with such speed that she almost fell out of the tree branches, only to be stopped from crashing down by Wolf's quick reflexes. He gave her a quizzical look, which she returned.

Romvian had waited patiently in Tel'ar'an'hoid, having summoned Mercury. Judging by her abscene to respond, he decided that most likely her novice knowledge of the Dream World meant that she didn't know you could summon people to the realm, and therefore, highly unlikely that she knew how to answer them. He decided he might as well stop summoning patiently, and just force her into the sea of dreams. All the better for her if she was doing something that falling asleep in the middle of wouldn't be dangerous. He took hold of the Keeper's dream, and tugged with more force than he would use just to summon.
A few seconds later, the Keeper suddenly found herself in the Dream World, baffled as to how she'd gotten there. She felt strangely light headed, and realized that the fog was closing in on her. However, before it could affect her anymore, she saw Romvian push it back before he glanced at her. Romvian. Of course. No doubt he was behind this. A momentary panic flew through her. What had happened to her body?
"I highly doubt you will decline the offer I made you." The Keeper was silent. "If you do not reply, I will assume your refusal and deal with your Amyrlin as I see fit."
Mercury fought down a scowl. Romvian's base manipulation of the Tower was irking her every fiber. "You will return her, before I help you. If she is in any less health than when you took her, our deal is no longer valid."
"Who will be the judge of that? Yourself? I doubt it. What is my assurance that you will help us if I return her? You Aes Sedai are tiresome with your exceptions and your flimsy adherence to those Three Oaths of yours.
I will send a messenger to the Tower tomorrow night, along with the Amyrlin. Arrange for the watch to grant them passage, or better yet, for the watch to be absent completely. If my messenger fails to return, then I will be sure to end Clarissa's life from here, and don't think I cannot. I simply have to summon her as I did you, and leave her to the mercy of Tel'Dashar. If you want to save her, come along, and die in the mist as well.
My messenger will need access to the Tower Library. Even you cannot close the Library without suspicion. However you get him in and out is no concern of mine, so long as you keep him unnoticed. He should return to me-how did you put it-in the same health in which he arrives."

Markis was on the forest floor, having descended from the tree. Mercury was in his arms, and he braced her against the tree. After almost falling the first time, she had suddenly lost conciousness, and slid out of the branches. Again, she had avoided falling to the ground, because of Wolf's reflexes. Unlike the last time, she didn't snap out of it, and stayed unconcious. Worried, he had quickly carried her back down, and was attempting to wake her up.
For some reason, the bond from her was overflowing with panic and agitation. Both he and Mercury had closed their bonds with Hawk, so it was of no help. He decided to wait a while longer, to see if she would wake up. If not, he would open the bond with Hawk and see if he knew anything.

Mercury's mind raced as she attempted to figure out how she would manage all that Romvian was asking. What about the Amyrlin? Was she safe? How was he going to bring her? She had a sinking feeling it wouldn't be good; she highly doubt Clarissa would cooperate with any plan of Romvian's, even if it meant bringing her back to the Tower. "How will your messenger bring the Amyrlin? How will he arrive?" She couldn't restrain herself, from voicing the doubt.
"It need not concern you. You take care of the guard, the Library, and whatever else need be handled, and your Amyrlin will be returned to you. I suggest you memorize how it feels to be called to the Dream World, or else I will summon you with more power next time. Farewell." And with that Romvian vanished. The mist closed in immediately, and Mercury also departed.

Meanwhile, there was chaos in the Tower. A Gray sister had arrived in the Tower, demanding to see Mairyela. The trainees had looked everywhere but were unable to find her. The Gray was growing more impatient by the minute, as shown by the growing numbers of Accepted she was sending to scour the Tower for the Mistress of Novices. The Accepted were at complete confusion. To ask another Aes Sedai would be rude at this hour, and further, the manner of the Gray implied that she did not want anyone else to know about her meeting with Mairyela.
"Did you find her?"
"No. I already checked the Kitchens, and the Library. Someone is waiting at her quarters in case she comes there."
"Keep looking. That Gray sister doesn't seem like she's willing to take a negative answer well.."

Mercury slowly came to, her head throbbing, which was unusual. Perhaps it was because she had been forced into the Dream World. The first thing her eyes saw were columns of tree branches, stretching up into the night sky. It all came back to her. She'd been sitting with Wolf and talking! She was no longer in the tree though...had she fallen out? She didn't feel as though she was hurt. Then she registered Wolf kneeling next to her, a worried look on his face.
"What happened? Are you alright?" She nodded and said it was nothing. "You don't need to lie to me Merc. It's not likely that I'll get scared. Before you try to avoid the subject, even if you hadn't had the bond open, you were muttering in your sleep. What's going on?"
Mercury cast around in her head for something to say. He wasn't likely to let the subject pass. If she didn't answer him, then Wolf would just inform Hawk, and the two of them would force it out of her. It was one disadvantage of having him back. She glanced back at him, and instantly regretted it. His golden eyes were even more piercing in the dark. "It...was Romvian. He said he'll return Clarissa. Tomorrow night. I have to prepare."
She stood up, and began walking back to the Tower by the side entrance. They were halfway back to her rooms, before Wolf demanded a reply again. She talked, giving him the bare details, as her rooms drew nearer.
Markis listened as she explained that someone would accompany the Amyrlin to the Tower, and talk with Mercury alone, before leaving. He got the feeling that she was hiding quite a lot from him, but said nothing. When she was done, he paused, and waited until they had entered Mercury's rooms. He knew it was warded, so he didn't bother hiding his voice. At this hour no one would be in here, except perhaps Hawk.
"Are you mad?! You can't possibly be willing to let one of his men anywhere inside the Tower? That too when everyone is off their guard. And lastly you expect me to leave you and Clarissa both, unprotected, with this so called messenger so you can chat? I don't like it. What if he pretends to bring her back, and then just kills you both?" He listened impatiently to his Aes Sedai furiously rattle off that she was capable of taking care of herself in the Tower, that she could channel if anything went wrong, and so forth. He countered angrily that she was going to get herself killed. The two continued their heated argument, without pause.

((This is for Mini, when she comes back!))
The Gray sister was waiting impatiently, her nerves somewhat frayed from the trip. She had to talk to Mairyela urgently. She was one of the sisters assigned to keep watch over the farm, and lately she had felt eerie sensations from around the farm. Nothing she could explain of course, but still.
The letter they had sent Mairyela two days ago would probably just have arrived, and since then, things had changed. One of the novices had gone missing earlier in the day, and searching for her found her in the middle of a field, unconcious. On waking her up, she started rambling about mists and fog, and seeing people around the area. While the first two sounded like nonsense, no one was supposed to be around the farm, but the novice swore that she had seen a strange reptilian creature.
If the Tower knew something, then she needed to know. If the Tower didn't know anything, then they needed to find out.
