-------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------I tried playing a trumpet yesterday, and I couldn't change my partial from a C to a G. sweatdrop I still want to give it another go for fun, though.
My aspiration is be able to decently play scales on all the band instrument except for clarinet (I can no longer get a sound out of that thing).

I started playing flute as my first instrument. In high-school, i was good enough to play the piccolo over a few seniors. Now, i play bassoon, flute, baritone and piccolo. Im trying my hand at guitar too. In my band, flutes are the quietest section and the fewest in number.

Whoa. eek That's unusual. The flute part, I mean. As for you playing multiple instruments, I think that's really cool. I think the bassoon is a really cool instrument, but I like and have gone too far into the flute to switch. I'm also one of the better players in my grade/band group, so switching wouldn't be the best choice.

To all of you guy floutests good job. XD In my school there's only one guy who plays flute and he graduated. Anyway. XD I play flute and piccolo(only in pep band.) I'm trying clarinet (so hard! I can't even read most of the notes.)I started clarinet this year and I started flute in 3rd grade, stopped in 4th, and picked back up in 6th. That's my two cents added to this thread. .-.;

i play ALOT of insturments, but flute is my FAVORITE!!!!! my band has no guy flutes, because if any guys are in the flute section, their gay. all the girls in my section dont like me becase they think im snooty because i dont talk to them. im just shy cry . wat bands are you all in?

But in my 8th grade band that ima be in once school starts were the smallest and most quiet lmao
