There...things have been kicked off....unfortunately....Dan isn't here tonight. He only made plans for yesterday when Dessie couldn't be here...and then he was too wiped to do it when Dessie showed up cause he was distracted. So yeah...it's going to be slow going and only the non champions will have anything to do immediately but they can at least post a little.

You could, and if you want I wouldn't mind, but I'm about to log off anyway so I wouldn't ask unless you're interested in it on your own. I thought I'd have some time, but my brother has suddenly pointed out that he left the aesthetic finishing touches on this power point of his due tomorrow off until now, so I'm about to have to log off anyway.
Now might be a good time for me to shamelessly advertise Song of the Autumn Rains, Crimson Winds, Black Amber, or one of the other things that I love but sees an unfortunate slight shortage of posts recently. But I'm too lazy to fish for links or any such.
I'm thinking he's probably going to be eithre Pyre or Myrr, or the character that was going to be Pyre might just end up being Myrr, or he might just be a random urchin kid I'll get a name for later, but in anycase I'm thinking he's between 14 and 16, not sure if I want any particular spot, probably 15 just so I don't feel like he's completely unable to effect anything on his own. I need to figure out what I'm going to name him, and if I want to have his future go anywhere in particular, though I think I'm fine just watching what happens and taking him where he goes. I'm trying to decide if he's going to be one of my really nice guys, or if he's going to have a bit of an attitude because of his situation. In anycase, he's no villian so as I'm playing him he'll be a good guy deep down even if I do decide to have him act like a jerk a lot...
*babbles again*
But at least I realize when I'm boring people now. 3nodding

Bleh. Have I mentioned how much I hate working at a restaurant? This one group of people... the guy bitched me out, cussed his waitress out, and cussed out/insulted our manager because he told his waitress the wrong thing and didn't want to look like a dipshit. The 9 year-old kid at the table mimicked everything the guy said, as well. They were just assholes in general. The table next to them moved down the row four tables because they were so loud and rude.
Upon bringing the food in the first place:
Me: "And here are your french fries."
Kid: "*serious face* These aren't done well enough. I don't want them. Take them back."
Woman: "*rolls eyes* He's just kidding."
After bringing the 'correct' food:
Me: "Can I get you anything else?"
Guy: "No. Just the manager."
Kid: "JUST THE MANAGER!"
