"There is a series of natural underground waterways on the south side of the arena, they extend up into the pillars themselves. Apart from that, it's mostly solid rock."
Tura mentioned. tattooed one's serpent could easily burrow through it.>
Vilya related this point as well.
"Moving to our opponents. Kusanagi is too big to fly through these pillars. He'll either battle on foot or fight above, in the sky. It's my guess that the fire drake will stay away from the south side, if he gets water into the fire pouch behind his throat, he won't be able to breath fire for the rest of the fight. He's also the youngest and probably most inexperienced.
Lessir I'm worried about, she looks weathered and is comfortable in water and air. I think she will be the sage's wild card.
That earth dragon, Quellar, he can burrow like Kin's companion but I don't think he can move as fast above ground, that may give us something.
As for that strange lion-like dragon...I haven't got a clue, I've never seen or read about a dragon like that. I don't even know if it can breath fire."

"Alright, so we've determined our opponents seemingly obvious strengths and weaknesses. Now we need to find ways to utilize them. But we'd better not forget that Brantalis has been at this a long long time, and probably has plans and strategies designed to neutralize his partners weaknesses." Sai said. He thought to Stratus.
Stratus said.
"Stratus thinks that we should try to take advantage the fire drakelings inexperience as fast as we can and eliminate him right away. Afterwards he feels that we will be best suited to combating Lessir, because of disadvantages against the others." Sai said.
Stratus thought to Sai.
Sai relayed Stratus message and then waited to see what the response would be.

Kin stood firmly as he always did, arms folded. I guess I should at least let them know where Vix is and see if they have any use for his position... Kin thought, slightly irritated at the fact this is a team effort now. "I have Vix positioned about fifty feet below us. Getting through water and stone will be no problem for him when he is ten times his usual size." Kin said suddenly to his group.

Minatsuki crossed her arms in front of her and eyed the impressive array of dragons.
Minatsuki grinned slightly to Asako.
Asako let out a soft churp of a sigh. Turning back to the group, Minatsuki rested her hand on her hips and cocked her head to Asako behind her.
"Obviously, Asako's not facing the water dragon. Give us maybe less than fifteen minutes and the locations of waterways connected to the pillars and the fire dragon will be taken care of... With a little help from underground."
Minatsuki turned towards Kin with an expected look.
"Can you and Vix spare us first five minutes of the battle? Asako can help Vix afterwards with the earth dragon, if needed."

Raidek nodded. "I will stay for the most part amongst the stone pillars, he will have an advantage in speed amongst them verse being in the open against the flyers. Basically though, if you need us to do anything, we are more than able to. This is going to be a team effort and we will do whatever we can to help out."

Kin glanced at Minatsuki, his golden eyes showing he was not too sure of this team battle idea. Kin sighed and said slowly, "Just do your thing, I'll watch your back." Why does she distract me so much? Kin thought, his mind boiling with questions about these strange emotions.

Minatsuki smiled, letting her arms fall down to her hips again.
"Thanks. I just need Vix to burrow through and around the base of some of the pillars with waterways connected in them. Vilya, can you point me, and Tura to Asako, out the locations for the pillars before the battle begins?"
A hearty laughter rang through two of them's minds as the pheonix let out a soft chirp, unable to hold back a laugh, whereas Minatsuki's smile only broadened.
Asako joked, the flames from her wings puffing slightly. Minatsuki snapped her head around to the pheonix and glared at her with a aggrivated look, but the pheonix only wobbled back few inches, enjoying teasing her master.

Tura complied with Mina's request, sending a mental map of the waterways to Asako.
"It's settled then, The young firedrake goes down first via Asako and Vix. During that time we need to keep the other four dragons occupied. Any ideas?"
Tura growled.
Vilya nodded.
"I might be able to keep one of the dragons grounded. If Asako and Vix drive Svalin over to the waterways, I'll trap Lessir on the opposite side, then she will be without her element and far away from the phoenix."

"Vix is actually doing so as we speak." Kin said quietly to Minatsuki. "I always have Vix out of sight, it gives me an advantage of the opponent unable to scan us and predict our moves." Kin explained, feeling akward that he was actually carrying on a conversation. "Well, should we get started?" Kin asked, trying to devoid attention away from his earlier comments.

"This sounds like a decent plan. Stratus will combat Chi-Linn from the beginning then. Once you two-" With this he looked to Minatsuki and Kin. "-are finished with your targets then we can start turning the tide through numbers. Raidek, We're going to have to count on you to keep Kusanagi distracted until we're ready to fight her." Sai said. He felt an affirmative sensation pass to him from Stratus.

((I think you guys should puppet some of the dragons. Here's the catch; you can't puppet the one your character decides to fight biggrin . It's a choice, if you'd rather not control a dragon that's fine too.))
Vilya nodded in approval. "Looks like we have the semblance of a game plan. We can make up the rest as we go along."
Brantalis peered over the edge at the figures gathered round the arena's center.
"It is quite an unusual bunch we have here." He was speaking to Kusanagi, who listened quietly as he watched his son carve runes in the dust.
He coached gently and the little dragon corrected his work.
Kusanagi was silent for a moment.
Kusanagi turned his great head.
He rumbled slowly.
Brantalis nodded.
It was Kusanagi's turn to nod. The great dragon's sight was keen and, even from this distance he could see the gryphon's violet eyes.
He looked to the sky, breathing deep before he spoke again.
Brantalis looked back at the combatants and watched as the plains girl and her gryphon made their way back up the arena walls.
Vilya awaited the others patiently, watching as she green dragons activated the shields for the people that had gathered to see the fight. There was a small shielded area separate from the crowds. This Vilya guessed was where she and the other combatants would stay during the battle.
Tura stretched her wings carefully and approached the edge once more, readying herself for combat.

Riona hopped upon Acacia's back and they rode into the forest. It was time to pick up some fresh fruits and veggies. Most of the freshest produce was actually in the forest which was why they were heading there currently.
"You can stop here, Acacia." Riona told her creature.
'Sure thing.' Acacia responded.
The creature slowed to a stop and Riona hopped up, taking a moment to nuzzle her bound animal while she did so. Because she just wanted to. Smiling, they proceeded to get to work.

Sai nodded in agreement with Vilya and then walked up to the area at the rim of the crater that seemed to be set aside for combatants. He began to walk there from where he was. He thought to his partner.
The feathered dragon though in return.
((I suppose I could control one of the dragons, but which one? That I do not know.))

Kin quietly followed after Sai, cracking his neck both ways twice. Kin asked Vix.
Vix replied.
Kin instructed. Since the dragons can fly, Vix can't feel any of the vibrations they would give off if they were on the ground... I think that's our only weakness.
