I think Tifa was tought of more as a sibling, and with that I'd say it would have to be Aeris.

First I'd like to say Hello everyone I haven't been here in a long time and I'd like to say I'm back ^.^ next I'd like to say I'M GONNA KILL WHOEVER THE HELL HACKED ME! And last but not least I'd like to say, he liked Aeries... completely obvious. Why ya think he was all freakin out? It sure as hell wasn't because she owed him money.

I say Aerith. She could be though of as the groups "Spiritual Guide," and they're always the love-interest of the main character.

Well, let me see...
Cloud and Tifa-Cloud loves Tifa, I have no doubt about that but he loves her in a brotherly way.
Cloud and Yuffie- One word...Friends.
Cloud and Aeris- Ah...the perfect couple. I'm not sure if they are really a couple though o.o but they are the favorite one. I know Cloud is angry with himself for not saving her *like Zach* and I'm 98% sure she was attracted to him.
