Okies ^.^ Ai's having a shitfit at the moment. Some little twit in ED said something about laughing at a girl who used to pick on her in middle school and then after graduating highschool she saw the chick was pregnant.
I think I sent a rather sharp note to the girl O.o Quite frankly I don't blame her. Back in my sophomore year in highschool, this chick who used to pick on me got pregnant. She had an abortion and got kicked out and I felt really bad for her. Ai's pretty sensitive about that stuff as well.

I have a thing against people who get abortions. It just isn't right at all. A child is a miracle and deserves the chance to live. There are over 2 million couples waiting to adopt and over 1 million abortions a year.
I don't hang around much in ED. Sometimes I browse through and read a few threads but that is basically the extent of my activity in ED.

I don't really have a that strong stance on abortion. Both sides present really good points and I'm not a woman anyway. I think there are a lot of really good birth control methods out there as it is like condoms and the pill, the patch etc.
But in extreme cases like rape, I really have to say a woman should not have to live with something like a pregnancy, especially when some have very unsympathetic parents, and then have a baby they have to take care of for the rest of their lives. That's not only terrible for the girl, think of what the child would have to grow up in; whether it be the home life or foster care and I've heard a lot of horror stories about foster care.
But yeah, Ai was more pissed about this chick laughing at a girl who was seven months pregnant than anything about abortion.

Eh....I can see where she'd do it. I don't know if I would but...everyone really has the urge to show a bully up.

Well, here's the story as far as I know; the pregnant girl knew laughing girl in middle school, pregnant girl did something not uncommon among immature middleschoolers and was a bully to laughing girl.
Middle school ends, laughing girl and pregnant girl don't see each other for over four years.
One day laughing girl recognizes that pregnant girl is, well, pregnant and thinks it's funny as all s**t. I'm with Ai on this one, that is just sick.

*shrugs* I can too easily see how she would feel. If I saw someone I hated screwing their life up I'm not sure I would be able to keep from feeling at least vindicated.
But at the same time I can understand where you're coming from. It's not a good thing to be laughing at other people's misfortune. The other girl may not even see it as a misfortune. I don't know. Life gets blurred when it gets to bullies and everything they drag up.

Laughing at a pregnant woman is pretty heartless. And baby's are a lot of work. I would feel very sad for her considering she would have to put her whole life on hold.
I am not sure about all the foster care stories. I have never actually looked in to what foster care is like and only heard the stories about it. I will probably google it when I have some free time.

So is screwing a kid up for the rest of their life. Making someone feel like their the scum of the universe. As if they can't do anything right, as if they would benefit this world if they didn't exist. It doesn't go away when the teasing stops. That's pretty heartless too.

I mean, the girl might not have even been screwing up her life. She might have done a total 180 and had gotten molested or raped, or had something very terrible happen to her. I know people who used to bully me in middle school who are now very close friends.
Or maybe you're right, she wanted to get pregnant. But I don't think most people in their late teens want babies.

Where I currently live it's...not as unusual as other places. As my friend once said, "I was expected to get married right out of highschool and have babies."
So it can happen. I'm glad you were able to make friends with your tormentors. I won't be able to do that.

Whoa... Haru, I'm impressed. You actually read the post when I was bitching O.o *Is amazed*
Hmm... it depends on the situation where I stand with abortion. I'm pretty pro-choice, especially in the zygote stages and in extreme cases like sexual assault and rape. But otherwise I'm pretty squeemish about the whole matter. Condoms, birth control pills = waaaay better.
Or in Haru's case, just do it with the Hello Kitty "Hand Massager" xd

'Course I read the post. You were having a bloody conniption about it, figured I'd find out why you were busting several veins in your temple. And your right, that chick needed a sever b***h-out lesson about maturity.
And if you meantion the "Hand Massager" anymore, I'm going to smack you with it... turned on.
Hand Massager: Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Ai- Hand massager...? I really don't think I want to know.
Tara-I think it can all depend on the extent of the teasing that took place. Was it just verbal or did it eventually get to physical?? Did it only take place at school or would the pregnant girl send emails and things like that?? If it was the latter for both of those questions then I can certainly see why the laughing girl laughed.

Aaaahaha... the hello kitty "hand massager" (we put it in parenthesis because it looks like something else) is among my most prized collectables that make people want to hate humanity for existing. It's great.
