Konnichiwa minna! Watashi wa Sara desu. Juuyon-sai desu. Morning Musume wa suki da yo! Yoroshiku onegaishimasu.
Hi everyone! My name is Sarah. I'm 14. I love Morning Musume! Nice to meet you.
I hope I did that right. I've been practicing my introductions lately with myself in the mirror. My friend forgot all of his Japanese and the other one... I think she stopped taking lessons so this is my refuge!

[ga suki] ga tsukaimasu, [wa suki] wa tsukaimasen. [desu yo] mo. [da yo] wa kazoku to yuujin ga tsukaimasu. (May have gotten it wrong razz ) Your japanese is good. (ga suki) is used instead of (wa suki). (desu yo) too. (Da yo) is used for family and friends. biggrin 本当ですか。こんにちは！魅鍵様です。「シェルドン」です。お元気ですか。私も。モーニング娘が好きですよ。 hontou desu ka? konnichiwa. mikagisama desu. I remember reading that 'everyone' is minnai, but I've noticed that minna is being used more often...which form is correct?
I'm going to trust Minna, so..
Konnichi wa minna! Good afternoon everyone!
Hajimemashite, douzo yoroshiku. This is a bit harder to translate, but the books lamely put it down as "Nice to meet you." (Literally, "Beginning [v.]", please like [me] [although yoroshiku can have multiple meanings])
Atashi no nomae (is this nomae or namae?) ga erudobyo (LW) desu, juugo sai desu. My name is LW, [and] I'm 15 years old.
Kyou wa ii tenki desu ne? Isn't the weather nice today? (Jaa...mainichi wa ii tenki desu. Well, everyday has had good weather. [So far.])
Atashi ga jibun de nihongo o benkyou shimasu. I self-study Japanese. (For 4 years, but I ask a lot of questions, so I decided not to bother the intermediates!)
-- last note, if anyone remembers, I was watching Chobits quite a few years ago and I remember that the store was named "My Pleasure" which I believe was Yoroshiku (but I'm not sure) which brings me to the point...does anyone know for sure what that is? (My pleasure, being the polite response to a thank-you)

i think... Hai! Doumo arigatou gozaimasu!!! Sore wa ii desu! (Yes! Thank you so much! That's it!) 'Yorokonde' can be translated as either my pleasure or with pleasure. Most Japanese phrases are translated culturally, that is, it usually has nothing to do with the literal meaning, but rather translated according to the most similiar reply or situation in english. Such as "ogenki desu ka?" literally means 'Are/Is [you/he/she/it, depending on the context] healthy/energetic?' but it is oftenly translated as "How are you?" (for obvious reasons). Although I think "Are you alright?" is a more accurate translation, because "How are you" is something American 's say everyday. Japanese don't ask you how you are unless they really want to know, and aren't just making polite conversation. (It's more common to comment on the weather) Anyway..that's just information I'm spewing out. I can't guarantee the accuracy of what I say (hence my being in the beginner's section) so if anybody has a mind to correct me, don't be shy about it! I don't want to walk around thinking the wrong thing for much time to come. ^_^;;

One thing tho - you don't add "chan" or any suffixes to your own name when introducing yourself. Other people will use it depending on how well they know you smile
