Fulgar lay in sleep his eyes motionless and his mouth open as he rolled to his side. The sun would be up in nothing more than hours he let out a deep sigh and rolled back to his original position.
The sun rolled over the hills, he lay under a tall tree, the shadows being thrown across his face with each lazy blink he spied shapes in the clouds. Behind him was the huge intimidating trunk of a tree, a large cave like hollow in it. A sigh parted his lips as a call rang out "hey, Fu-san" he shifted his head to spy the frail body of Kurai, she sat on a blanket with food spread out in front of her. Over head clouds drifted lazily. Kurai moved over to him and lay down next to him, her body fitting to perfectly into his than mere coincidence would allow. She stroked his neck and gently kissed him, what a perfect place.
Another delighted sigh escaped his mouth as he turned over again this time laying on his side. He wrapped his arms around a soft feather pillow and he was curled into a small ball.
He and Kurai lay in the velvety soft grass she was curled against his chest, they both stared up into the sky. A sweet buzzing sound came from the form beside him as he turned his head to look he realized that Kurai was no longer there the buzzing was coming from a near shapeless for a grotesque imitation of his love. His arm collapsed into the swarm of bees and they swarmed around his head their stings felt like knives as they stung his whole body he screamed "MY EYES!" as he rolled into the grass.
His torso shot up into a sitting position sweat dripped down his bare torso, the muscles convulsing as his stomach twisted and his throat wretched. His chest moved up and down as air thrust in and out. His put his right hand on his face and let it drop down the length of his cheek. "What the ******** is wrong with me?" He asked himself softly.

She was walked over to the window she didn't want to sleep even thou her teacher advised her. She sighed staring at the clouds and the moon with its creepy smile. Kurai twitched feeling something was going to happen, she paused holding her breath her eyes shifting around the room. Something just didn't feel right, walking threw the hall until she came to his door. She knocked softly on the wooden door before it creaked open. "teacher...?" SHe tip toed in she paused staring down at him. He had little beads of sweat on his forehead and a disgruntal look on his face. She poked his forehead with her index finger, "Teacher?"

Fulgar moved with the weight of her finger on his head. He woke and stared up into her eyes, they reflected the light of the grinning moon outside. He sat up slowly and breathed before realizing that he didnt have a shirt on. He grabbed at the blankets in embarrassment. He stuttered out "Kurai... What's wrong?"

"Hm..O its just I couldn't get any sleep and I just wanted to make sure you were ok...y'know with what happened last time." She looked down before shaking her head. She lifted her head with a jolt and a bright smile, "sooo what were you dreaming about? Something creepy.."A shadow creeped over her eyes. "was it..." a dramatic pause gave it some tension as she pulled her hands up like dead limbs. "..BIRDS" She wiggled her fingers. "mmmuuhhaaa..." her laughter died down. "so.. what was the dream about, seriously?" She turned to him with concern written all over her face and blue eyes burned into her brain. ' maybe its not him...maybe..hopefully its something else..' She tried to calm herself down as her heart beat increased rapidly along with her breathing. She could feel a slight bead of sweat drag down her temple.

Fulgar stretched out his right arm wanting her to come over to him. He blushed a deep scarlet when she asked him about his dream. His eyes flashed into streaking steel blue before turning back to brown. "My dream was nothing..." he said his face still flushed with blood.

She looked side to side to check if anyone was around. She whispered into ear "psst...I promise I won't tell not even the birds!" She laughed before sitting next to him letting her legs dangle over the edge of the bed.

He wrapped an arm around her shoulders turning even more scarlet. He let out a soft chuckle and said "just so long as you don't tell the birds." He leaned his head over to the side where it rested on top of hers very lightly. "Bees." He finally said. "I was being stung by bees, you and I were at a picnic, and then you turned to bees and stung my eyes." He pulled her just a bit closer to him and slowly blinked.

She looked down before dragging her eyes up. "but I need some air..." Her face turned from red to blue his grip was getting tight.

Taizen sighed as he mended the last bruise, Taikai's arms looked the same as before, maybe even less wrinkly, Taikai sighed in releif. "good job taizen." taikai praise, Taizen rubbed his eyes wearily. "you should head to sleep, who knows how long Niima's going to sleep! it'll be better if you sleep yourself, that way you don't catch a cold like Niima." "Pff... Waterbenders don't catch colds..." He replied before standing up, the sun was rising.. No wonder he felt tired... It meant the moon wasn't out to give him it's usual doubling of energy. Taikai 'tsked' and headed off to his room, to sleep in the daytime.. just a little nap...
As Taizen reached Niima's room, he could see Guardian curled up next to her, "lucky cat..." Taizen caught himself immediately. "To be able to sleep on a bed, not many tiger's do that...!" There was a few moments as Niima turned in her bed, she seemed so restless... Maybe he could...? He walked over to the bed, reaching for the second flask, the one that used to hold wine, but since the tournament, he had replaced the contents with water. with a flick of his wrist, the cork popped open, and the water jumped into his hand in a glob. Taizen rubbed his hands togeter as though the water were dough, or clay, before holding them out over Niima. "Healing energy... Your own.. And... Your patients..." Taizen said to himself, The water began to glow as Niima dreamed, if Niima was having a nightmare... Perhaps he could lessen it... If she was merely sick, maybe he could heal it, all the same. Taizen tried to help.

"Nugh!"
She slipped as she attempted to go forward, the earth unforgivingly shifting under her footing. Without warning it shifted so that it was as if the world where turning on it's side. Fingers grasped at the edge of a wall of earth, suspended with nothing but a big..black..abyss below her. Tentacles of sand and earth rose up from this abyss, seeking it's prey who was trying her best to pull herself onto the ledge above. Not seeing these threats, she's taking off guard as they wrap about her ankles, crawling up her legs as if claiming her as a whole. Her eyes widen as she is tugged, her fingers sliding till only the tips clenched faithfully to the ledge. Another tug by the threat and she was torn from her place, dragged down..and in that her eyes closed, tempted to give into the abyss..
Something grasped her hand. A hand, which tugged her upward. For a moment she felt like a plaything that a pair of pets where tugging over. Her eyes opened to look up at what..or who could possibly be helping her. Dyn...? No..No a younger face. Blue eyes..like the great ocean..Taizen? Eventually Taizen won the tug-of-war, pulling her over the ledge to safety. Arms wrapped about her protectively and her arms returned the gesture..
Guardian had woken to Taizen entering, ears flattening back as if attempting to fend off Taizen. Almost as if saying 'She's not feeling good for company' but the feline didn't stop Taizen. After a moment or two the feline climbed off the bed, moving off towards Master Dyn who entered while Taizen was attempting to heal Niima.
A small sigh pressed past Niima's lips as her body relaxed from the 'shakes'. Her breathing slowly but surely evening out in peaceful slumber, the sickness of both mind and body countered by Taizen's attempt and protection. Though of course his healing couldn't do anything for a empty stomach but that's for a later time to worry about.
The elderly man stroked his beard thoughtfully, waiting till Taizen was relaxed from his healing before speaking.
"Master Taikai has a very promising student."

There was a few moments after Niima had stopped shaking that Taizen sighed, a contented sigh, one that showed he was releived. The water on his hands seemed to be dripping, but not a drop managed to wet the bed, it was like the water had been, 'used up' the consistency had changed, it felt like Jello to the touch, but Taizen couldn't investigate further as the water idssapeared from his sight. "The water turned to gas on it's own... So whenever you use water to heal something... It goes back into the clouds... To become rejuvenated, and in turn rejuvenate the earth in the next rain..." Taizen wasn't sure why he thought of it like that, but he could feel the lingering healing enegry in the water- it was probably what made it feel weird- and since he couldn't feel his energy in the room anymore, or feel dampness in the atmosphere, he assumed that healing was a result of the ocean and moon spirits, healing someone must take they're energy... And in turn you must give up some of your energy... Give, to someone, and take something else. Keeping things in a balance...
At the sound of master Dyn, Taizen turned around surprised, at first he thought it was Kazuki,(Apparently Taizen is paranoid now that Kazuki was around,) But since Kazuki didn't know his way to Niima's room, he guessed Fulgar, but fulgar didn't sound like that! It was a monk... "Thank you..." Taizen said slowly, bowing to the man. "Did Taikai ask you to come...?" He asked warily, was he missing something? Was he needed? Was Kazuki causing trouble again?! No, the monk seemed far too calm to be complimenting Taizen's bending before announcing to him the temple was on fire, he must have been coming to see Niima...

A small chuckle escaped the elderly man's lips. The lad looked like he had been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. A hand rose to ease Taizen's nerves. "Sorry my boy, I did not mean to alarm you. And to answer your question, no, your master has not asked me to come. I am here on behalf of someone else you know."
As his hand lowered Dyn looked towards Niima then Taizen, as if making a silent point. "Forgive me. I am Master Dyn. I am head of the airbenders within the temple. And I've known dear Niima since her childhood." His hands clasped behind his back, something that Niima did quite often. Maybe this was the source of that stance? "I was hoping to meet you before you and yours left on your journey. She speaks very..highly of you."

"Heh," Taizen sort of laughed an 'embarrased' expression on his face, the tone in the man's voice reminded him of Taikai, which possibly would have been the worst person to see Taizen healing Niima, well, he didn't do anything, it's just... I suppose that the feeling Taizen got when he had healed Niima in itself felt like satisfaction that could come only from someone else. Similar to the praise he had felt when he bended so long ago.
Only this time, his satisfaction came from himself, and he felt just as good about it. Taizen took a side-glance at Niima, and smiled as Master Dyn informed him that he had known Niima since she was a child, and even surpressed the urge to chuckle himself when he saw the familiar pose. He even had smiled as Dyn told him the last part, he hadn't dissapointed Niima Taizen supposed.
The smile vanished and Taizen's brow furrowed as Master dyn's words reminded him; 'known dear Niima since her child hood.' Her childhood... Master Dyn, perhaps he knows about... Taizen looked up at Dyn with a smile on his face, "I suppose Niima see's you as a father-figure then." Taizen didn't need to pry, Niima would probably be angry at him if he did, that would be like an invasion of her privacy...

Master Dyn looked at Taizen a bit shocked by the question. "My dear boy, she looks to me as a uncle at best. A friend..someone to trust in yes. But never a father figure. She's...not told you of her hardships has she?"
Moving from his place at the door he made himself comfortable in the chair at Niima's workdesk, hands folding inside his sleeves. "In truth she's only been here a few weeks before you. Her and her family, when she was young, use to spend a month or two here each year. I guess that's why she feels the temple as a second home."
