 Mounia felt her eyes scan the crowd, but for the moment she looked up she felt a little nibble on her finger. She cringed in pain but looked down to see a pair of cute little eyes begging her for attention. It seemed like it was finally starting to accept her!

 Liam had brought the Bakeneko into the Academy, afraid to leave her. He doubted she could have stood on her own, let alone walked. Such injuries had been beyond him, but as soon as they made it inside there had been others who had instantly taken over. They took the Bakeneko from him to treat her injuries, which relieved him. Hopefully she would make it. With nothing to do, Liam followed the rest of the survivors down to the bunker. It was incredibly crowded, easily as much as Leviathan had been. He wove his way carefully through the crowds, hoping to find out what was going on. There seemed to be little knots of people all over the place, but none had the look of officials or people who knew what was going on. Which made sense; those people were probably running all over the place trying to get things done. Which is what he would have preferred to be doing, rather than just standing around twiddling his thumbs... Still craning his neck in the hopes of finding someone in charge whom he could offer assistance to, Liam spotted what looked like a group of people set a bit aside from the rest of the milling crowd. Well it was as good a lead as any, better than what he had now. He began to work his way through the crowd towards that particular spot. Koiasi Not sure who you wanted to have chat with Liam, so just quoting you. You can have them spot him now if you like, or you can do a regular post and I can have Liam come upon them if you prefer!

 The creature's tail flicked behind it, it's back turned to Hiroshi. It took a look around the group, noting each person as they spoke as if weighing it's options. It then turned, it's eyes meeting Hiroshi's and it took another step forward until it was in arm's reach and stopped.

Mounia continued to absentmindedly stroke the familiar. She could feel the tension moving out of her. She wasn't so sure about this kind of therapy before, but it actually seemed like it was working! Hopefully it was even better for the people who needed it more than she did.

 Kuni looked around for someone who looked like they were in charge. He finally found someone who was handing out cats and kittens to people. "Excuse me," he said. "Um, I found zis kitten--do you know who it belongs to?"

Hiroshi lifted his hand again, reaching it toward the creature but stopping far enough that it had to come toward him. The animal sniffed his hand and then gently licked the tip of his finger, closing the gap between the two of them.

Before she even knew it, the little familiar was asleep on her lap, making a little nest for itself in her clothing. She grinned, glad that it had finally fully relaxed. She couldn't help but admire how cute the thing was, perhaps some good had finally come out of such a bad situation.

 He couldn't linger any longer. Kingston went down with the last of the students before he lost sight of Vanna. Well don't that just... GAH! He must be sitting down. Kingston sighed. Vanna was tall and a good beacon of "HEY I'M OVER HERE!" When trying to find people in a crowd. Ah well. The grimm milled about a little, aimlessly, looking round for familiar faces. He seemed to luck out, spying Eilwen out of the corner of his eye. AH! And it looked like she had found Vanna! He was about to go over to see them, when he spotted Coco as well. She seemed to be sitting with the therapy familiars. He walked over and stood behind her before leaning down, looking at her upsidedown, hair falling into his face as he bent over Coco. "Boo."

"Huh?" The person turned to look at him. Kuni thought he recognized the look of exhaustion and terror forged into a strange alloy called frustration on the Nightmare's face. They looked down at the kitten and quirked an eyebrow. "That's one of the service animals," they sighed. "We brought them down here so that people could have some stress-relief."
Kuni nodded. That made sense. Nothing like a fluffy animal (or whatever a sealpup could be called) to calm the nerves. Still...

"Hey there, Little Guy." Hiroshi smiled when the creature finally seemed to trust him enough to come closer. Still, it didn't seem to really want to cuddle just yet, still wary of everything going on around it.

She bent down, giving the little thing a slight kiss and stroked it behind its ear. "You know... if you told me that I was going to find such a cute familiar out of all of this... I would have told you that you were crazy." Her tones were hushed, not wanting to wake the creature up. If she did nothing else good while here, she hoped she could at least protect this little one. Perhaps it was silly to be so attached already, but she couldn't help it.nepsah Taking this one~

 It was about then that Vanna was pretty sure he saw his psychology teacher. Well cross that out Vanna definitely saw his psychology teacher. He'd be more glad she had made it out of the safe houses alive, he thought she was a pretty good teacher, the only problem was he was pretty sure she also helped the police. He decided it would probably be best not to bring attention to himself. After all the police weren’t exactly sure on what the new boss looked like and Vanna would like to keep it that way. He did frown a bit though noticing she was hurt, and he almost wanted to go over and offer help or something… but a low profile would be better. After it wouldn’t do to undue all of his hard work of making sure he didn’t stand out too much in class. Luckily Eilwen took that moment to come sit next to him and he could turn his attention to his younger sibling and pretend to be more of a law abiding citizen than he had just been. “Yeah without a hitch, apparently I have a thing for boarding up doors. Who knew. Everything was okay gathering supplies?” He asked. It was about then that he spotted Kingston in the crowd. He was pretty sure they made eye contact and at least know he knew where two more members of the small impromptu party were.
