 Nix Gallen Hearing the two offer to show her the way to the Shogun was a grand idea. Nix was tired of traveling alone for so long so it was nice to have company. Mikoto could be heard for miles around, or so it seemed, as he came sprinting out of a portal from the depths of the Amala Network. He'd been tricked into entering it by his new 'ally' Beelzebub, who snickered as his master came close to death time and time again, and lost amidst the labyrinth of flowing red energy Mikoto had been too freaked out to calm down, and remember to simply sic his demon on the attackers who popped out of the walls here or there. Now he emerged on the far side of one of the many pathways, having no idea where he'd ended up, and behind him chased a spirit who was just a little bit too energetic as it gnashed and bit just a few feet behind him, attempting to clamp down on his behind. "Futomimi, help mmmmeeee!" Mikoto jumped and wrapped his arms around a light post as he began climbing, looking down at the monster behind him. Luckily, at his call his manikin friend approached and delivered a killing blow to the rambunctious monster assailing him...and Mikoto let out a sigh, finally taking in that the nightmare was done. Now that he looked around though, he was nervous. He didn't know where he was, but it was definitely a city...and he reeeally hoped no one saw that. Otherwise, his cool guy image might be completely undone.

And..." Mikoto looked up to see the street sign nearby, and recognized the names after thinking about it for a second. "Hey, this is Tokyo, isn't it? It looked so different at first glance...and I was a little preoccupied, uh, chasing a demon. It ran up that light post, and I tried to chase it, and then..." Mikoto continued to gesture as he demonstrated the path this 'mysterious demon' had taken, across the street and up the post, until he realized there wasn't really anywhere for it to go. He paused, and let out a nervous chuckle, scratching the back of his head as he lowered it in embarrassment. "...yeeeah, sorry. The name's Mi-yonmu? Wait, Nekura Myonmu? What are you doing in Tokyo?" Yeah, for the others this was probably rewinding a bit, but...Mikoto didn't exactly realize that everyone and their sister could use the Amala Network. And he certainly didn't expect them to be able to summon demons, but even if he had, he probably would have expected them to remain at home. Inaba was in rough shape too, after all...
Meanwhile in the background, Futomimi started kicking demons butts and junk, apparently assuming it would be better to act like he and Mikoto didn't know each other, or anything. At least until he knew how well he could trust these humans, and whether they were demon tamers too. After all, having a demon approach a couple of normal humans could cause a bit of a commotion...and this horde needed some taking care of.
