It seemed Natalia was correct in guessing that being here was nostalgic for Aiden. Not that it was too much of a shot in the dark. What would have been better was if she could have guessed exactly how long it had been since he was last here, but even then, she had the advantage of knowledge, so that took all the guessing out of it. Given than it had been a year since Aiden and Vesper had their encounter, and he nearly had a fully grown team by then, Void had attack the islands two years before that, and they had spent nearly a year together traveling at this point, so... Four years? Yep. Aiden confirmed her thoughts soon after, suggesting that he'd been fourteen the last time he'd seen that tree, which meant he hadn't seen it in four years. “Wow~ Yeah, I'm sure it looks completely different then.” She chuckled, wondering if anyone had thought to take pictures of the tree at Tanabata every year. That would be a nice photoset. She could certainly see Isis doing something like that.... Natalia frowned slightly at the thought of her old friend, but soon distracted herself by playing a betting game with Aria, suggesting that there were a thousand slips up on the tree, whereas Aria seemed convinced there were at least a million. “Heh, you're probably right Aria. You aren't cheating with your psychic powers, are you?” She teased, wondering if that was even possible. They soon moved to the stone table where they could write out their wishes for the tree on colorful paper provided by the islanders, and Natalia had to ask a few questions about the rules of the tree before she could start. Eventually though, she started writing alongside Aiden, pausing to listen as the blonde offered Aria a chance to make a wish, though the delphox politely declined since her only wish had already come true, given the people she had found herself with. Natalia supposed she should have felt happy, hearing such kind words, but she didn't feel anything. Just, hollow...
Before she could dwell on the feeling, or lack thereof, for too long, Natalia had noticed a familiar pink ribbon, poking at the wish slips and asking to make a wish herself. Thalia was adorable, and Natalia couldn't help but humor the sylveon, offering to write her wish down. It didn't surprise Natalia to hear her wish for her friends, Natalia included, but the numbness she felt from before only continued to spread like a poison throughout her chest. Still, Natalia forced a smile and herself to write the words, petting the sylveon with a trembling hand. Afterwards, she finished writing the rest of her slips, checking in with Aiden so that they could start hanging the wishes up together. Aiden had a lot more practice with the pole, so he was able to get through most of his wish slips before Natalia could even hang up two or three. He made it look so easy too, Natalia was almost jealous, but thankfully she had Calliope to help her out, while Aria assisted Aiden by hanging a few slips higher up where the poles couldn't reach. With the help of their pokemon, the two were finished in no time, and so Natalia took the opportunity to thank Aiden for coming here with her. She really had enjoyed spending time with him, and the sevii islands really were a wonderful experience. She smiled genuinely as Aiden insisted that he had a nice time as well. “I'm glad...” She nodded. It had really concerned her that he would have a hard time dealing with painful memories, and while, granted, there were moments for both of them, the day had turned out surprisingly well. Though, Aiden admitted that he was happy to have her company back on five island, dealing with that storm. “Really? I kind of felt like I was a wreck, making things worse. Heh....” Natalia chuckled mirthlessly, though Aiden was quick to apologize for dragging her into that mess, and Natalia held her hands up defensively. “N-no! You don't need to apologize. Really, I was glad to help, so please... Don't worry about it, okay?” Natalia insisted, and pointed out that since they were finished here, they probably aught to head back and retrieve their pokemon and at least get out of the forest before it got too dark. Adien quickly agreed, suggesting that they would probably make the bridge before dark. Natalia nodded weakly, casting nervous glances at the dark forest ahead. Even though it was still light outside, since it was nearing sunset, the forest still made it seem like nighttime, so Aria offered to provide some torchlight with her wand. "Y-yeah.... Good idea...." Natalia agreed, albeit slowly. Her mouth felt heavy, it was a struggle to even talk suddenly as they began trudging through the clearing to the forest's edge. Natalia chalked it up to the fact that it had been a long emotional day, and now it was just catching up to her, but something felt off. Everything was... Hazy... Her movement slowed a few steps behind. "H-hey.... slow...." Natalia called weakly, her voice barely above a whisper. She wasn't even sure if Aiden could hear her, and that was what frightened her the most. She stumbled, grabbing a tree trunk to keep her steady and glared at Thalia who was keeping close, right at her ankles. Damn fairy, she had probably been the one to trip her u-- No. Natalia shook her head, blinking her eyes as if that would help her focus. Thalia was just scared, she wouldn't hurt a fly, much less have any intent to trip her-- In my way. Natalia felt the anger seize up again in spite of logic. It was a battle that Natalia was losing, and fast.
Natalia asked Aria suddenly, the words forming without really giving them much thought. Her tone was warped, as if subtly colored with someone else's voice or thoughts. She chuckled darkly, and then grimaced, pulling her hand away from Thalia's grasp to rub her dizzy, throbbing head.
"You,ofallpokemonshouldknowtofearthedark."
Natalia snickered, but then grimaced and wheezed, her satchel slipping off of her shoulder and onto the grass. “Stop it....” She hissed, buckling over and searching blearily through her bag's contents, but it was difficult. This wasn't just voices anymore; this time, part of herself was fighting back. Pull it together dammit! Natalia thought with a growl, regaining herself for a moment. She didn't let the reprieve go to waste, grasping the bottle of pills in haste and opening the container so that she could pop a pill into her mouth. She forced it down, not having the time or luxury of getting any sort of liquid to ease the process. As she looked back down, it appeared that fire encompassed her hand, forcing her to quickly let go of the container as if she'd been burned. The container fell to the ground spilling the contents all over the grass. "Who did that!?" Natalia's sharp gaze turned to Aria accusingly, though the delphox had done nothing. Burn the witch~ Burn the witch~ Burn the witch~ A voice encouraged her. Where are all these aipoms coming from? They're literally everywhere. Natalia shuddered, moving to sit against the tree, cradling her head. "Aipoms....? Aipoms.... Aipoms aipoms aipom aipom.... Ha... Haha...." She muttered, feeling tears welling up in her eyes. She'd at least gotten the pill down, that was the important part, but now she had to wait things out, and once again, she was reduced to a bumbling idiotic mess. Hallucinating that her medication was on fire, throwing unnecessary accusations at Aria and Thalia... Why did it have to be now? Why did it have to come on so suddenly? Natalia would have lamented her embarrassment, but she was too busy rocking back and forth, mumbling about aipoms like a broken record. "Pom pom pom pom.... Ai... Pom! Aipom. Ai... Ai... pom.... Ai... den?" Natalia seemed strangely happy with herself for a moment before quietly continuing to mutter about the purple monkeys.

The largest and oldest of the Trio scowled at his defeat. His pokemon may have been the strongest in level but where the weakest in over all typing comparatively. His weakest sibling had had better type match ups. Yukie at least had to work to beat his Carbink. The middle sibling, the girl, reached out to her eldest brother with her younger brother behind her grabbing he eldests wrist and pulling. "Hay, lets just go." She said looking to Yukie shocked he had beaten them all in turn. Yukie still hadn't budged from his seat on the Pokemon centers training room floor. He smiled mockingly at the siblings as Litwick danced about the arena revealing in her victory's. "I did warn you." He said finally as she stood patting the dust from his pants. The eldest flinched at Yukie's words but didn't budge otherwise. His eyes where locked firmly on the ground. "Apologize Shiro." He said at last turning on his youngest sibling. "Wait what, really?' "You heard me, apologize to her!" The youngest, named Shiro looked utterly appalled at the idea. Standing his ground for a moment locking eyes with his older brother Yukie assumed judging if he could take him in a fight. Relenting to his better Shiro turned to Yukie. "Im sorry for what i said ma'am." Yukie smiled and began to laugh having not only beaten the little punk, his siblings but he got to publicly shame all three at once. "Whats so funny?" The sister snapped stepping past her brothers. "Its a combination of the public humiliation and over whelming defeats." Yukie said forcing his laughter to a halt. "Now get out of my way." Yukie had crossed the training room and was confidently cutting between the siblings. Once passed the Trio and with the crowds still watching his exit Yukie turned back on the defeating trainers with one last thing to add to their humiliation. He like the power rush this was giving him. "Oh yeah and im a boy dumb asses." Yukie said squeezing his breasts together provocatively at the siblings as best his could with his one good arm. The two boys looked dumb stuck and the girl about ready to throw something at him.
Once back outside and with his personal nurse Yukie headed back to the TX-42. "Prepare for take off. We're going to violet city. I want to be airborne in 5 minuets." He commanded to the captain in the control room passing on the way to his quarters. "Yesum ma'am." The old geezer remarked looking a little insulted he had to take order from a thankless Yukie. "You, heard her, get your rumps in gear. we're airborne now!" At least he ran a good ship. Yukie couldn't complain in that regard, well he could but it be pointless. not even a minuet later the TX-42 was lifting off.

"You're welcome." Apollo stepped away from the PC once he'd finished his business, absently wiping his hands off on his pants. Now that he thought about it he had quite a few items to cross off his agenda, most non-pokemon related. He needed to get a room, change his shirt, get some shopping in, go for a run, and then get some music practice in; somewhere along the way, he'd need to get in a bit more training for his pokemon as well. Though his mind was filled with his itinerary for the remaining few hours he wasn't so gone that he completely forgot about Sebastian, he still gave the older male enough attention to enjoy the expression that graced the older male's visage when he bestowed upon him a bit of 'farewell affection'; he was surprised but not offended, and even managed to laugh after Apollo had drawn away, besides swooning that was the next best reaction he could hope for.
"But of course. I aim to please and having an amass of talents assures that I can do just that," Apollo informed good-naturedly, then lifted a hand in goodbye as Sebastian made to leave, his pokemon in tow. He planned to wait until the man had left the building entirely then noticed that Squirtle had wavered, halting in her steps to look back at Apollo. Confusion slowly etching itself onto his face he opened his mouth to inquire about the pokemon's stop only to find himself being hit with yet another spray of water. He was left sputtering as the turtle headed out with her new trainer, his already wet shirt becoming drenched and hanging heavily on his body; yeah, Squirtle was better off with Sebastian. He'd been smart in his decision to give her away.

Wiping water from out of his eyes Apollo stood in a small puddle of water, with more droplets falling from his body. Kahn stood a safe distance away, his eyes narrowed in discontent, then with a flick of his tail padded quietly back to the counter, calling out for his trainer to call him. "Yeah, yeah. Coming," the male grumbled then approached the counter as well, Chansey looking up at him expectantly. Nurse Joy had yet to return with Beau, so it was safe to say that he had time to rent a room and change his clothes. With a nod of thanks Apollo took the room key given to him then idly pushed a wet bang behind his hair as he left to find his room. It didn't take long to locate it and with Kahn leading the way the bright-haired male entered the room slowly, closing the door behind him and placing his saxophone on top of the bed.

Not keen on staying in his shirt any longer Apollo peeled the wet fabric from off his body and, with the shirt still in his hand, meandered into the bathroom to wring it out into the sink. Kahn, in the meanwhile, made himself comfortable on top of the bed, circling a certain spot several times before he settled down comfortably, when Apollo walked back into the main room he found the Persian sleeping peacefully on the bed. Not wanting to disturb his pokemon the male was careful to dig through his other bag in the search of a new shirt to wear. The vibration of his communicator, unfortunately, was quick to distract him from his task and he briefly turned away from the contents of his bag to see who had texted him.
To his surprise he found the recipient to be no other than Zak and as his eyes scanned over the message Apollo found himself smirking, only to have the expression deflate when he remembered Cyrus' words of caution revolving around the Russian. He had told him to avoid him, hadn't he? But.. he hadn't told him exactly why, a rather crucial piece of information. Weighing his options Apollo decided to forgo replying, at least for now, and instead opened a new message box to text Sebastian, sending him the standard greeting to give him his number.

Returning back to the task at hand Apollo pulled a shirt from out of his bag, unfolding it carefully before he threw it over his shoulder. Waltzing over to the small closet he opened it before nodding in satisfaction at the ironing board he found folded up against the wall, there was no way he'd just go around wearing a wrinkly shirt. He pulled the ironing board out then plugged the iron into the nearest outlet, as he waited for it to heat up he found himself thinking back to the unanswered text from Zak. It'd be rude to just ignore it, especially now that he was aware of it, and of course there was the simple fact that he actually wanted to reply, he enjoyed the conversations he had between himself and the younger male. Still, he couldn't very well just ignore what Cyrus had told him-- or rather, didn't tell him. Maybe he had a bad experience with the man and just didn't want Apollo associating with Zak? Or maybe Zak was Cy's ex? The possibility left the male chuckling and, with amusement in his eyes, he sent his childhood friend a quick message, his answer would solve his little issue.
Hey Cy, miss me yet? Remember that guy, Zak, you told me to avoid. You know you never told me exactly why I should. Is he an ex of yours?

Apollo dropped his hand down once he'd finished sending out his text, placing his shirt down onto the ironing board afterwards to begin ironing out its wrinkles. Now that he was alone he could actually begin to organize and put an order to the list of things he wished to accomplish before the day was over, and after texting Cy he was reminded of yet another goal he needed to accomplish; it was the easiest to get over with, so he decided to start with that. With a soft sigh he placed the iron back down before he slipped his shirt on, the fabric still warm and providing him with a momentary pleasure. He was quick to unplug the iron and put it and the ironing board back into the closet, and once he'd finished that he turned back around to settle himself on the bed, the shifting of weight and creaking of springs underneath disturbing Kahn and causing him to grumble irritably.
Ignoring the feline Apollo pulled out the pokeball Cy had gifted him with and turned it slowly over in his hands, staring down at the warped figure reflected on the orbs surface. He'd still yet to figure out just what kind of pokemon he'd been given, an error he planned to rectify right then. The male straightened his back out to sit up properly before he pressed down firmly onto the pokeball's button, releasing the pokemon within, and waited for the light to die down to see just what he'd received.

"Ee!" Apollo was greeted with a high-pitched and vaguely recognizable cry the moment he let out his new pokemon, the light around its bipedal figure dying away to reveal an Eevee, and a rather excited one at that. The brown fox pranced from side to side, only stopping long enough to take in Apollo's expression before she continued her movement. The male found himself breaking out into a slow grin and, with a soft chuckle, he moved down from the bed to the floor then extended his hand out experimentally for the Eevee. She paused in her motions, her nose twitching, then bounded forward to rub her head across his palm, successfully spreading her scent across, who could only assume, was her new trainer. She briefly remembered having been caught by a red-headed girl, but... maybe she'd been traded? Who knew!

After spending a few minutes with Eevee it became rather happy that both trainer and pokemon were rather happy with each other, something that pleased Apollo greatly. Sitting back he left the fox explore the room, his gaze following her up until she cut around the bed and moved to the other side of the room, then tried to think of a name for her. He was certain of her gender, now he just needed to think of a name; perhaps something to reflect her typing? He knew enough about Eevee to know that they had several different choices for evolution, all of which were, in his opinion, elegant.
While he did that Kahn took it upon himself to investigate the newest pokemon, her appearance, and the noise she and Apollo had made, enough to keep him from sleeping. The feline jumped elegantly from the bed, landing before Eevee, and bore her a carefully guarded expression. "Hello," he greeted slowly, bending down to sniff the top of her furry head. Eevee stood still long enough for him to acquaint himself with her scent before she sat down on her haunches, chin tilted up. "Hey there! Are you one of my new teammates?" Kahn sat himself down as well, his tail curling neatly around his front paws. "Yes, I am. There are actually quite a few of us, I'm sure you'll meet them all in due time." Eevee cocked her head at this information but it wasn't long before she nodded firmly, eyes bright. "Great! I look forward to meeting them all! Do you think they'd be willing to go for runs with me?"
An oddly specific question... Kahn took his time considering her question before he replied hesitantly. "It's.. possible, though I doubt all will be so willing." Eevee accepted this information with yet another nod of her head, though a moment later she perked up her ears and turned back around to begin walking back around the bed. "Of course, not every pokemon is as into fitness as the next."

Cyrus had yet to respond to him, not very surprising but a bit of an inconvenience, and with a soft huff the male swiped his finger over the screen of his communicator so that the screen displayed his text from Zak, still unanswered. After a few seconds of deliberating he expanded the message so that it now included the message box and began typing out his reply, there was no harm in greeting the man after all.

It didn't take very long for Delta to reach Goldenrod. Leon was actually concerned that he would have fallen off of her with how fast she flew. He hopped off of her, arms still shaking from how hard he held on to her during flight. "Thanks, Delta. Next time... maybe just a bit slower, okay?" Leon smiled, then returned the legend to her ball before it could attract too much more attention. He let Kai and Inari back out of their balls to accompany him.
Now to get to why Leon came back to Goldenrod. He was... well, low on cash. Hopefully, he'd be able to slip in a few grooming jobs here so that he could fill his pockets with some spending money. He went to his usual spot, and sure enough, there were a few people that dropped by, looking for their pokemon to get groomed. After a bit, he had made a decent amount, and left to return to the pokemon center for a break. And also, to feed his gator.

Finally, Ren had managed to find what seemed to be Leon. The familiar scent was what made the vulpix so sure. He wasn't aware that the groomer had gotten other pokemon. The blue fox followed him around a bit before coming to a stop by the pokemon center. How did Leon not see him already?!? The Vulpix entered the pokecenter and approached the groomer with a bark.
Leon turned when he heard a bark, looking down to find an all too familiar furry face. "Ren? What are you doing here? Where's your trainer?" Leon questioned, squatting down to pet the Vulpix. Ren was unbelievably happy for the attention - almost desperate - rubbing his head up against the groomer's hand. Of course, he got no answer from the fox. Just a pair of golden eyes staring at him. So, Leon texted up the owner, only to get a quick reply along the lines of "i don't care anymore, he's your problem now". Leon wasn't impressed, to say the least. He always kind of suspected that the guy hadn't really cared much about Ren, despite the wins the Vulpix had. "Hey, looks like you'll be with me from now on, okay?" Leon told the Vulpix, assigning him a ball.
For now, Ren could stay out. Even though the fire fox was quickly getting annoyed by Inari, who was gekkering and bounding around him, wiggling her tails.

Apollo eventually set Pearl back onto the ground then watched as she moved away to investigate his bag, her nose twitching at the smells that came from it. Ever amused he watched her, curious, until the vibrations of his communicator drew his attention away from her and to his wrist. Cy had finally texted back, revealing that Zak was, in fact, not an ex boyfriend but rather a business partner, of sorts-- he didn't even know what sort of business the two could conduct together, and any half-hearted idea he could come up with just didn't make too much sense. Apollo pulled himself up, deciding that he would respond while he went back downstairs to check on Beau.
"Kahn, you coming?" he asked the feline, who had made it back onto the bed. The Persian lifted his head, eyes half closed, before he lowered his head back onto his paws, his answer clear. "Alright. I shouldn't be gone too long. What about you, Pearl?" At the call of her name the Eevee turned away from Apollo's saxophone case, her eyes falling to the half-cracked door then back to the case before she trotted towards her trainer, eager to explore the strange building more. Apollo grinned then patted his pockets to make sure he had his room key with him, walking outside into the hall once he'd determined that the key was still on his person. With Pearl leading the way he headed back for the lobby, head turned down so that he could respond to Cy.
Aww, too shy to admit the truth? That's alright, Cy, I know you missed me. He seemed pretty nice to me, I even traded pokemon with him. What kind of work did you even do with him?

Once the message had been sent Apollo let his hand drop back down to his side and lifted his head just in time for the hall to open up and lead directly into the lobby. He watched as Pearl ran ahead, her intention not to leave but rather investigate every nook and cranny there was to offer-- the place was just flooded with different scents! While she did that the bright-haired male moved to the counter, his expression brightening into relief when he saw that Nurse Joy had finally returned. "Ah, there you are!" the pinkette perked up when she noticed the trainer, and with a soft smile she presented him with a pokeball. "I'm sorry it took so long, but your Gardevoir has been fully healed! Please, take good care of it." Apollo simply nodded as he took Beau's pokeball, giving the woman a nod of thanks before he turned away from the counter.
In the short time that Apollo had been retrieving Beau Pearl had made a bit of progress herself, having gone from investigating corners with stale scents to investigating actual pokemon. She'd noticed a rather intriguing pokemon, two in fact, and now padded over to sate her curiosity. She'd seen other Vulpix before, five in total, but none had ever displayed this sort of dark fur, it was interesting! She knew better than to bum-rush the vulpine, she didn't want to start a fight, so instead she approached politely and, with one paw, poked Ren's haunches. "Hello there!" she chirped, then sat back. "You're an awfully pretty pokemon! Did you roll around in paint?"
Apollo held off on releasing Beau just yet, as happy as he was that he was no longer injured he wanted him to be in a more private and comfortable setting in case... well in case the Gardevoir came out raging. He looked around him, prepared to collect Pearl and return to his room, then stopped when he noticed her interacting with a pokemon. It took him a moment to recognize that the blue-furred fox was a Vulpix and, curious, he approached the two pokemon and the man he could only assume was the Vulpix's owner. It took him less time to recognize that the man was rather attractive--if he'd known Goldenrod held such heart fluttering men he would've vacationed here--and found himself twice as interested as he'd been previously. "Hey there," he waved towards Leon as he stopped in front of him, Pearl stopping her probing long enough to greet her trainer. "Is that Vulpix yours? It's quite stunning."
