(Try 2/3, Part 4) I love twists and turns, and I had a great deal of fun... it said, standing up on its perch. You deserve a prize for that one... I will remember it. a treasure chest appeared, and it flicked its tail, Tata! it said, and Sap found herself a little disappointed that it was leaving. But that was soon superceded by treasure! [QUEST COMPLETE] Sap felt absolutely victorious as she collected her loot. She was a riddle master. She was. She was the one. [ENTER] After wandering for a long while and not seeming to get anywhere, Ash had to admit she might have been a smidgen lost. Walking until she felt dizzy she stopped and looked at the sky in annoyance. Only to find herself at a tree. A quite contorted tree. That started to speak to her, and smiled... Oh, nope. The smile was floating above overhanging branch. "Are you here for a story or a riddle?" And a half-here cat appeared around the smile. Oh, that would explain that. A Cheshire Cat, just like herself. No wonder this tree felt a bit like home. Of course she would play, riddles were one of her favourite games. "What has three legs but only uses one?" Oh, that was a good one ! Three legs.... A clock... No, those used their three legs... A sign post maybe? One leg to stand on, one for right, one for left?The cat seemed very entertained by that answer in any case and decided to yield the answer. A death? It did not make any sense to the ghoul... Well, it was her turn wasn't it?
"Never too far from my twin,
I'm associated to a part of the body,
no very pretty in shape and smell,
and quite far from the olfactory organ,
what am I?"
After a long time trying to think of an answer the cat in the tree chanced an answer.
"Ah, no, it was a ... Sock."
Surprised and a bit grudgingly the cat made a small treasure chest appear. And inside was a card.

After wandering about, Skele_Woofie found himself back at the blasted tree with it's blasted cat... "I'm back." He growled at the Cheshire cat. "Hello," says the grinning mouth, "Have you come for a story? Are you here for a story or a riddle?" "Uh,.. yeah? Dude, I was here yesterday!""You may call me a Cheshire cat," it begins, fading in and out of sight at random will, "but just one of many. We reside here you see. This is a nice place, and we so very much do enjoy a good riddle. Let us play a small game, if you will so indulge me. I'll give you something nice of course in return. All right, here goes the riddle" The cat did not act like it knew him.. oh.. wait.. NPC, of course not. "What has three legs but only uses one?" He grinned, so it had only a few questions! " Death!" He chortled happily. What am I?" He asked gleefully, he'd thought long and hard on his walk to try and remember some evil riddles of his own. "Ah, tis Tomorrow." The ct purred to Skele_Woofies disgust. "The answer is poison, thick and prevalent in the heart, it will poison a soul for eternity and then move to the next." It said. Skele_Woofie started, apparently it'd taken his words as an answer? Well,... not that he'd complain... "I'm light as a feather, yet the strongest man can't hold me for much more than a minute. What am I?" he asked back with a snarl. "Breath!" Its eyes narrow in delight. "Riddles are my nature of course I would guess right. I guess it is still too early for you, too early indeed." Walking back to the Cheshire's Cat's tree to see that the cat was still up there still smug as all gets out, HotRocks just signs as all she wanted was the treasure the cat had this time around even tho she was bad at riddles. "I back, Cat," she said when she had gotten closer to the tree and was keeping her eyes fixed onto the cat. "Well that is nice are you her for some more riddles or something else?" "I'm here for the riddles, so spill it already cat," "What can I hide but always find?" it said every so smugly. Just like the other ones this riddle also stumped her as she truly didn't know what the answer after a little time of thinking of what the answer could be. To her the answer should be simple but knowing the cat it was going to be something totally different. "Anything you can hid, you can find," she finally said but left out the part about maybe forgetting were you had hidden something. "The answer for this one is your shadow. It follows you everywhere, and hides anywhere. Quite tricky, that shadow." HotRocks grumbled of course it would have been something that simple that she never would have thought of it. "Good try, but now you tell me a riddle, since I like them so," the smug cat said. "Alright but give me a little to give you a good one," she answered as she glared at the cat for a second as she so wanted to think of a riddle this cat hasn't heard of yet. Closing her eyes to help her think a little better and opened them back up when she had her riddle. What is the last thing you take off before bed?" The cat took a little time to think the riddle over. "The answer is my head," it purred smugly. HotRocks just grinned wide as she had gotten the cat in its own game. "Nope that's wrong, the answer is your feet off the floor," she replied happily as now she would get the treasure the cat said it would give her. They are wrong, and their tail curls a little more. "A surprising twist, but I love surprises. You are quite the clever one, and for that, you deserve a small prize. Just this time, of course, just once." A small treasure chest appears in front of HotRocks to which she stares at it for a little. But turns back to where the cheshire cat is to find it was gone. Oh well, she thought as she wanted to ask about it head coming off as that was strange. Oh well I has treasure she thought opening it up. ((Attempt 1)) "Hello," said another tree, as trees in this forest seemed wont to do, "have you come for a story?" "No, I don't think so," AllUrLoots replied, then reconsidered. "Though, you know, I'm not sure what I've come here for. Maybe I have come here for a story and I just don't know it yet. And if I haven't come for a story, well, at least it will kill some time until I find out what I have come here for." That decided, AllUrLoots nodded decisively. "Tell me a story, tree." The cheshire cat smirked down at AllUrLoots as it faded into view, it's tail curling and twitching behind it. "You may call me a cheshire cat," it corrected. Well, cheshire or otherwise, it promised AllUrLoots a thing if she played its little game, and AllUrLoots did so love things. She loved riddles and puzzles, too--mostly, she liked the knowing that came from solving them. The cheshire cat's riddle was a good one, she would certainly give it that much credit. Possible solutions were considered and discarded before she finally settled on one. "Your eyes," she answered confidently. "You can close them or wear glasses or any of that, but they'll always be right in your head--as long as you're the kind of creature who keeps their eyes in their head, that is." ((Attempt 1)) "An excellent guess," the cat, replied, "but the answer for this one is your shadow." Its tail twitched as it left AllUrLoots to ponder that for a moment before continuing, "All right, now it's your turn. Ask me a riddle, and give me a second to think." AllUrLoots could certainly come up with a better riddle than the cat's, she was sure of it! The cat faded in and out while she thought of one, finally remaining in a half-opaque state as she offered up her own challenge. "Which side of a cat has the most fur?" The cat stretched out along the branch as it thought of an answer. "We are quite furry, are we not? But," it said, with a flick of its long, fluffy, fragmented tail, "I would have to say the back side." "The outside, actually," AllUrLoots responded with a smile. The cat commended her cleverness, but she stopped paying attention to it as soon as it dropped a mysterious box in front of her. Despite being perfectly happy wandering around the woods forever, TheBoughman was starting to feel tired and a little dizzy. Perhaps it was a side effect from the mushrooms he’d shoveled into his mouth without checking to see if they were poisonous or not.
"Hello," says the tree, "Have you come for a story?"
TheBoughman looked up at the smiling tree.
"Are you here for a story or a riddle?"
“Well, I am not very good at riddles b---“ THE TREE JUST TURNE INTO A CAT WHAT – No, okay, part of the tree turned into a cat. The cat had not been there before. Cats didn’t just up and appear out of nowhere, did they? Well, he supposed they could – and he was trying to figure out the how of it when it spoke.

Flat but sharp at the edges. Lots of things were flat but sharp on the edges. The Leshy!puppet stared blankly at the cat for a minute. Paper, though it was more the thinness that gave nasty papercuts.
