Staring blearily up at America, Kostya flinched only once as she manhandled him with a clinical touch.
"Nyet," he said, and promptly fainted.

To say America was entirely dismayed by Kostya swooning into her arms and having to princess carry him to safety would be incorrect. Though her expression remained grimly serious as she set the man down and checked him more thoroughly, when she finished and turned back to the fight, she allowed herself a small, victorious fistpump before summoning up Stryker.
She was ******** awesome at Trust Falls.
The flail swung eagerly through the air, catching the pumpkin and coming back sticky. Pumpkin guts again. And even though she knew it was Caelius who created the portal, somewhere in America's heart, she felt this was probably Allan's fault.

She had been spacing out and missed things, apparently. Because she remembered people acting strange (Dakota hugging her?) and then, suddenly, a monster had appeared. Why do monsters always appear? Even better, it seemed Caelius was going AWOL with ...feelings? Plus he seemed to have recently decided to be a sympathetic pumpkin hugger, the pumpkin being the bad thing of course. The major issue on her radar that was sending her drilled in Moon Senses roaring, was Gale being the target of Caelius's wrath. Gale might be a full hunter, but that last attack had to have hurt. "Got your back, Gale." Ceres summoned her blade and held it out akin to a shield, standing somewhere between Gale and Caelius. Staring down the Death lead was something she hoped she would never have to do, and even now it sent her pulse racing in fear. Why couldn't the pumpkin eat Caelius and fix all their problems? Defending: Gale (4) HP: 50 kurotomato (Pardon the flailing missed a bit so im trying to get back into this @__@ )

"Are you even hearing yourselves?" Sure the attacks hit and maybe they hurt but hurt less than firebreathing Insanity-turned-Ancient dragons, but what really mattered was how hurt he was on the inside. "Everyone is ignoring my feelings. I'm feeling really ignored right now. Why is everyone else so selfish?"
Sure there was a giant Insanity pumpkin, but at this rate it was less insane than the D-word lead.OOC SUB BOSS FIGHT: VERSUS SENSITIVE CAELIUSSensitive Caelius is very sensitive about all these really upsetting issues like how nobody is listening to his feelings. HP: ???/??? Damage dealt to anyone in range: 5 (for anyone attacking him/ or defending him/ and/or close to Gale). Roll 1d6. If even, you are paralyzed next turn/ cannot attack or defend. Note: This only affects people who are actually close to Gale/ attacking Sensitive Caelius

Lucky was deeply moved by Caelius's forgiveness, and embraced him right back. He had not stopped crying at any point since he was overcome with emotion, so he couldn't exactly say it had moved him to tears - but it had certainly aided in a continuous development and shedding of tears. A lot of them were applied directly to Caelius's shirt, because Lucky was just slightly too short to sob into his shoulder. It was all very touching, and quite difficult for Caelius to have disentangled himself from had it not been for the suction force of the portal. On the other side, Lucky had chosen to curl up in the grass near a few other 'sleeping' hunters and do absolutely nothing. The idea of any harm coming to the pumpkin creature was too much to bear. This went on for some time, until Shiloh rescued him from all the negative energy. "I never meant for you to get hurt," he cried on Shiloh. "I should never have doubted you. You vere not spying on me, you vere looking out for me. Sometimes it is so hard to trust people - I have made a mistake. A terrible mistake. I trust you, Shiloh. No more secrets." "Hello," Lucky regarded Ian again, this time with a tearful smile and at least one arm around him. He reached up and ran his fingers through whatever amount of Ian's hair he could reach. " I love you too, Ian."

Not that Lucky could just turn a blind eye to Caelius's suffering. There was so much pain in his voice! And people just kept on hitting him with their weapons?! What monsters.
He had to do something. He moved to gradually disentangle himself from Shiloh and Shiloh's boyfriend, braving the crossfire of weaponry and somehow, inexplicably, dodging the majority of it.

"STOP!" Lucky planted himself neatly in front of Caelius and spread his arms (and weapon) with every intention of protecting the D Lead from the cruelty and the ignoring and all the harmful lies. Unfortunately, people were still getting a pretty clear shot at Caelius's head and upper body straight over the top of him, rendering his gesture symbolic at best. But he stayed where he was, because this was important. He had very strong feelings about this. "Can't - can't you see how much pain he is in?" Lucky pleaded with the attackers. "Can't you see you're hurting him?" HP: 45/50 DEFENSE: 2 (for Cael. Sorry. He's not very tall.)

Ian clamped his lips shut, giving a short nod as he gingerly patted the top of Shiloh's head. "Really, Shy, it's okay," he said hastily. "It's no big deal, okay? Don't, uh, worry about it too much, babe, really, you're totally fine, no need to, uh, cry, seriously, you're all right."
He wrapped his arm around Shiloh's shaking shoulders and leaned down to kiss the top of his head. "Really," he said, and his voice had dropped a little, more affectionate and a little more gentle. One of Ian's hands gently smoothed over Shiloh's pale hair. "You're fine,"
He was about to say something else, except there was someone else pulled abruptly into their little hug, and Ian stared blankly at the green haired hunter, looking immensely confused at the conversation that followed this. "Hurt?" Ian repeated, glancing from Shiloh to Lucky and then back again. "What does he mean, hurt - "
And then suddenly Lucky was touching his hair and Ian just stared at him, mouth slightly agape. He cleared his throat, reaching out, and gently patting Lucky's head.
"Yes," he said, "yes thank you, uh, Lucky, yes."
He pecked a hasty kiss to the side of Lucky's head just to placate him and then quickly maneuvered Shiloh away from Lucky's grappling arms, Ian's own going stubbornly around his boyfriend's waist. He probably should have been helping to fight but that was beside the point.

Jason did as he was told, clasping his ears as a loud "BOOM" hurtled past him, cutting the vines away from his legs. With a 'omph!' this he landed, scrambling to get to his feet as he saw the pumpkin had taken a swipe at Jerry. With long strides he reached the sun, planting himself in front of him to hack and swing at the approaching vines. "You okay?" He shouted, cursing under his breath at the amount of vines and the very few hunters fighting it. He wanted to buy Jerry some time so he could get up, but he was struggling to get all the vines away, some of them getting past his defenses. 'Zanth do you really have to - wait how the hell do you know what that means'

She accepted Gale's explanation the first time because it was possible the monster really wasn't affected. But what Stormy did know was this: the monster no longer had friends, Gale was attacking Caelius for no good reason and not being sorry about it (not really, not if it meant using a charge), and most of all he was still trying to lie to her. Had it not been for the staff, Stormy could have swallowed this all down for a talk later--in this scenario, however, it wasn't just her shield that was hurting now. "Why?" she asked as she got to her feet and picked her weapon up, wincing still from her less than graceful landing. " Why're you doing this, Gale?" It might have started out ridiculous, but there was a truly wounded expression on Stormy's face as she looked at him. Heightened emotions, yes, but real ones nevertheless. "Why'd you lie? Why're you hurting them?" Ceres had come to his defense, but while she liked the woman, the Moon hunter was given the same look (if to a lesser degree): quietly questioning her life decisions. At this point several things happened. Firstly, the pumpkin was looking really mangled and sad. It just sort of started wobbling unevenly, and then wheezed, grey pumpkin guts and seeds falling out of its crumbling edges. It looked really sad and broken. Even its flailing vines seemed weaker and more withered, and compared to Sensitive Caelius, it really wasn't that impressive or as majestic. Also it didn't have great hair.
The second thing that happened was the staff that everyone had forgotten about began to give off a rather menacing light, enough for even sensitive sub-bosses to pause for a second and consider what this could possibly mean. It glowed brighter, and brighter -
- And then shattered, rolling around a bit. The back of the staff revealed the words CLASSIFIED DETH ARTIFACT, PLEASE USE WITH DISCRETION.
From the shattered staff emerged a long figure in green.
'I am but a fragment of -------', the voice was heard by everyone around it, 'And I give what you desire. Whatever you wish for, think it deep in your heart, and it will be granted. This is my power and my ------- .'
It hovered there a second longer, and then slowly began to fade away.
Oz wished that he was understood. Zoe wished that she had never borrowed the staff from DETH in the first place. Mark wished really hard that he could make a Death Star with very minimal effort. Caelius wished for a really good bagel. The pumpkin wished that it wasn't a pumpkin. OOC BOSS FIGHT ROUND 3/ FINAL ROUND AND MAKE A WISH- BOSS HP: 100/300 - SENSITIVE STATUS EFFECT IS STILL IN EFFECT - In addition to the sensitive status effect, you can make a wish- Whatever you wish for comes true, in the form of an insanity boss mob. If you wished for an abstract thing like love or being accepted or something non tangible, you get the boss mob in the shape of the person you wish for this to be reflected on. If that person is you, congratulations. The Insanity Boss mob (of your wishes) has 25/25 HP. You can defeat it within discretion and it does -5 auto damage to you. - If you don't make a wish then you don't summon a boss mob now - Also yes the pumpkin is still attacking, sort of. Just like sort of sadly attacking people.

Now there was only one thing Solia wished in her little french heart for more than anything in the world.
And that was to be tall.
Tall enough to reach the top shelf or at the very least touch a low hanging ceiling without a step ladder.
She was gullible to the extreme, and to be told a magical thingy that could grant wishes existed? She'd take it. She'd take it, hold it close, clap her hands while saying she believed and wished to be tall.
What she got was a mirror version of herself, smiling- and two feet taller than her.
Solia screamed and started to cry at the same time in horrible anguish. She just wanted to reach the top shelf one day was that too much to ask?

Allan, wherever the ******** he was, would have been pleased to know that the moment a wish was mentioned, America's kokoro immediately went with: I want to be the very best, like no one ever was.
Within moments a double of her appeared, a grey washed girl with glowing red eyes, and, it has to be noted, boobs and a** a size bigger than the Real Deal's.
"Aw, now c'mon. That is not even ******** funny, you a*****e stick," America complained and the other her drew back and punched her the face.

The thing that pissed her off most, was that the girl did have the poses down, and she looked all badass and not straddling the line between awkward white girl dancing and stripper that America usually stumbled along to her very secret frustration. With growing anger, she punched the other her in the boob.
