"If I only knew that earlier..."Misty would block the hit with an arm, as she transformed back into her human form, causing a loud clank sound however the arm started resonating which paralyzed her briefly. "Tch!"however because of the swift transformation during the high speed impact , her weight didn't ended adjusting properly and so she was tossed away from Suu, landing few meters behind. "Don't think this is over."Stated Misty as she thrusted her arm into the ground to get rid of the resonance and finally release it from the paralysis. With a second attempt, she jolted against Suu aiming to kick her torso with a straight kick.

With her face on the ground, Misty would remain unconscious as she got herself knocked out by taking an axe kick to the head.

"Tch!..."With a deep grin the brunette started waking up. "It's really of no use ..."slightly frustrated, at the very least she knew how could tap her down, but she honestly thought she would last at least a little more. "No matter how hard I train I improve so little."

Suu continued to look at her only to speak in in Mistys voice again "i dont know...everyones different..maybe try to go work on something thats not related to your weakness or strengths" she said sitting down "i had to figure out how to talk to others" she said "and so worked on everything but that and eventually found voices to guide me" she said she felt she was being helpful but probably wasnt being any.

Misty sighed, shaking the dust off her clothes. "I'll give it a shot I guess... Thanks for the match"And with that she'll take a trip for the infirmary for the necessary medical test. [exit]

Carmen Laurell Difficulty: Hard Carmen felt the hit to her knee and shortly afterwards felt it buckle beneath her. "Ahh!" She cried as she fell down to one knee. She quickly rolled backwards and outside physical reach of Illo. "Mmm, that's gonna hurt for so long..." she complained quietly as she felt her knee. She looked back up at Illo. She knew she couldn't take much more of this; he was wearing her down. It was obvious she had less stamina than him and she could only take so much punishment. She launched a burst of crackling green energy towards Illo, more to distract him than anything else as she struggled to get back to he feet. Abilities used: Hard - These opponents are very experienced and talented fighters. They are somewhere between graduate level and Death Scythe level in strength. Unless you are a Death Scythe or otherwise extremely strong, your chances of winning one-on-one are possible, but slim. You should strongly consider bringing a partner/ally to this fight.

Sabrewolf123 So can you take the arena people out of the arena? I was just wondering 'cause I imagine Carmen might like to learn a few of Illo's fancy moves.
Illo
Illo had to stop his attack momentarily to deal with Carmen's fire. It was the best weapon in her arsenal at the moment because Illo wasn't fireproof and would have to use his telekinesis to push the fire aside. While doing so, it presented Carmen with a veil of sorts which would cause Illo to lose sight of her for a moment. And while it was true that it took Illo little time to sweep away the fire, it would make him stop briefly each time it was used. A real momentum breaker.
On the other side of the flames stood Illo, shaking his head with a hand on his hip and one held out to wag a finger at Carmen.
See? You left yourself open again. Now, here I come. Ready? Go! Illo would zoom around a quarter circle around Carmen levitating close to the ground (he was a terrible runner, but able to patch up his running his flight). As he did this, Iron Phoenix Mode would engage again and produce multiple illusions tracing similar paths. They would disappear and reappear at random intervals until Illo appeared in front of Carmen. No surprise attacks from behind, but Illo's moves would be harder to track. He also wasn't aware this was happening.
The monk would throw some jabs and fouette kicks at Carmen's head, keeping his weight on his back foot.

Corvo Bianco Illo v.s. Carmen Laurell For special missions or arcs we can, yes Carmen Laurell Difficulty: Hard Carmen tried her best to track Illo's movements as he appeared to start rapidly changing locations. "Crap..." she muttered with a serious expression as she realized it was a virtually impossible task. When he appeared in front of her, Carmen did her best to block and dodge the attacks and actually managed to ward off a fair amount of them. But plenty of them still made it through and she received quite a few blows, to her face, arms, legs and torso, forcing her to retreat. Since she was powerful and primarily a melee opponent, forcing her to retreat from a melee attack was impressive indeed. She jumped backwards and out of range, panting heavily. How is he able to pull all of that off?? She wondered to herself in surprise. She decided that for the moment, discretion was the better part of valor and stood back waiting to see what Illo would do next and wait for a more reasonable opportunity to attack.

Sabrewolf123 Oh, OK. I was just thinking these two would be a good physical rush team. Plus Carmen knows Melani.
Illo Illo wasn't done yet. He came at Carmen with three side kicks aimed high. Then a fourth kick which would appear to be another normal side kick, but at the last second Illo would dip down and set himself up for a hook kick.
The hook kick looks like a side kick, except that the primary muscle used is the hamstring, which drives the heel, rather than the quadriceps, which drive the ball of the foot at the target. His body lowering would work to send the foot up with more force, another reason the move was so dangerous. If it connected, Carmen would likely be in the air. She could dodge with a sway to the right.

Corvo Bianco Illo v.s. Carmen Laurell lol yeah actually they really would Carmen Laurell Difficulty: Hard Carmen dodged each of the three side kicks Illo sent at her, but didn't expect the 4th kick to be something different. The kick hit her dead on and lifted her up into the air. Due to her lighter weight Carmen went higher into the air than one might expect. Although her head was spinning, she was still coherent enough to realize that this was an opportunity. She let herself continue to rise as if she were out of control, then in a split second reversed her momentum using her Streamer ability. She rocketed towards Illo shooting several Firebursts at him. But instead of coming straight towards Illo she landed right in front of him, literally several inches away. The reason for this sudden proximity was a set-up to her next attack. In the same motion as her landing she aimed a palm strike at his center mass. Again this attack was not the ultimate goal. It was an attempt to begin another Daisy Chain. If it landed, her next attack would be a higher punch towards his cheek followed by a kick to his side and an elbow spin to the side of his head. Her Daisy Chain would continue until Illo could get away from it. Abilities used +Streamer: Carmen can use her resonance force to quickly accelerate in any direction. When she does so she's surrounded by a stream of bright green energy, protecting her from projectile attacks and hurting anyone who gets too close. It can be used as a ramming attack though that's not its main purpose. It is extremely helpful for dodging or deflecting ranged attacks +Fireburst: Carmen waves her arm in any direction, causing a stream of fiery green energy that explodes like fireworks to trail after it. This can be projected towards the enemy or used as a small shield to block attacks. +Daisy Chain: By focusing her power into several moments in time, Carmen can begin a combo on a target once she lands a hit. The first hit has a 65% chance to land. From there the chance each hit has to land goes up by 5%. For example, the next hit would have a 70% chance of landing, followed by 75% with the next and 80% with the next. The highest this ability can raise her chances of hitting is 95%. In addition, each hit landed will increase the damage caused by each hit by 10%. Her first hit starts at 100% of normal damage. The second would be 110%, the third 120% and so on. This ability maxes out at 200%, double her normal damage with each hit onwards. This isn't a passive ability so Carmen has to activate it before an attack rather than any normal attack starting the chain. A miss or a pause in the attack that lasts more than several seconds resets the combo and Carmen has to start over next time she uses it. Blocking the attack or using an ability such as a shield to block the attack do not reset it. This ability has a cool-down of one post. (She can use it again the post after next) This ability gives Carmen a strong advantage against larger, heavier opponents who aren't fast enough to dodge an agile opponent such as herself. Opponents who would rather block and would normally be able to soak up many of Carmen's hits would find themselves being worn down as each attack became stronger and more accurate than the last until each hit was doing double damage. Hard - These opponents are very experienced and talented fighters. They are somewhere between graduate level and Death Scythe level in strength. Unless you are a Death Scythe or otherwise extremely strong, your chances of winning one-on-one are possible, but slim. You should strongly consider bringing a partner/ally to this fight.

Sabrewolf123 Maybe they could do something in an arc?
Illo
This again...
Illo sounded disappointed when Carmen shot her fire blasts at him yet again, but instead of jetting around the diversion longways, she went right through them, and that took the monk by surprise. Perhaps he'd gotten a little overconfident.
UGH...! Illo received the first three attacks and winced in pain at their explosive force. The kick did the most damage. Illo's durability had increased several fold with the increase in qi he was able to pump into his qi gong training techniques. Techniques that allowed the monk nearly unimaginable things like harden his trachea and resist spears thrust into him by his brothers--who were all brilliant fighters in their own right--so with that as a base, it would stand to reason the monk was one tough cookie. Still, it didn't exactly tickle.
It was time to start using his intercepting fist. Any opening, any gap, difference in reach, would be exploited. The first was to take advantage of the spinning elbow, an ambitious move, but ultimately best used on a slower opponent. Illo took advantage of the fact Carmen would have to take her eyes off him for a fraction of a second to execute the attack, and slipped under the elbow, which wasn't too hard after her last kick made him want to double over a bit.
While ducking, Illo shot two quick Wing Chun punches at Carmen's rib cage. The punches work like a battering ram to build force with each hit, but that wouldn't he a huge problem now.
After that, Illo rocked his weight back to stay frosty, and to set up for a Back Crescent Kick, wherein his leg would move in big, sweeping arc from the inside back out to resting. He would have regained his guard at this point.
