She'd make it back to the islands. And the fog. Her grip tightened on the glider. She didn't want to end up back in the fog, but the cold updraft that buffeted her right seemed to do it's best to knock her back off balance.

Another updraft sent her off balance, tumbling her this way and that. It was difficult, but so far, she was keeping it... not on course at all.
At least she could still see the island she was trying to find.

Perhaps practice helped, or perhaps she was just getting lucky. But it seemed to her she was getting closer to her goal. Maybe. Slowly.

Dezolam was curiously wandering about World's End when she came to the Sacred Flight. The bird-like gliders appealing to her. She knew quite well that her own "wings" wouldn't take her anywhere as she was. And the floating islands seemed to be beckoning to her.
Her decision made she went to the nearest glider. She took a moment to wonder how it could work, pushing here, pulling there, until the launch apparatus trembled and both her and the glider were propelled forward.

Dezolam tried to think of a way to direct the glider and finally come to the conclusion that only moving her weight about had an effect. Now she hoped she wouldn't crash.

Her initial experiments had made the glider loose some altitude but nothing too bad.
She watched tendrils of frog curl and uncurl around her. It was quite fascinating.
You hear a gentle voice speaking words you can't understand, and feel a strange surge of emotion: joy. peace. holy duty. Your movements become more sure, as if you instinctively know how to pilot the glider for a few moments. You feel as if someone is smiling at you. 182 - 6 = 176

There were voices in the wind as she went through the parcels of fog. Maybe they were the voices of the previous pilots?
Anyway, even if she was still quite high over the surface of the wather she couldn't shake a sudden fear of the fall.
You feel shaky as you pass through this wisp of fog; a sense of unease and anxiety takes hold of you. If you make any mistakes, you'll fall. The certainty makes your stomach flip and you tense up. The fear of a long-ago pilot rolls through you. 176 - 58 = 118

Suddenly the wall of water under her fell away and she passed the edge of the waterfall. And in the distance she could see one of the islands glowing like a blessing.

Further observation showed that it wasn't the island itself that was glowing but a shrine set on it.

When she stood at the edge of the cliffs after she managed to defeat the harpies, staring at the foggy skies, she thought that she could fly. Never would she imagine that she actually could attempt to, with the help of one of the gliders.
With a broad smile, Lyzzi looked around, realizing that she had to first wind up the launcher for the glider. Having done that, she got into the glider, trembling in excitement- Oh no, the trembling was from the launcher that she had wound up. After a brief second, it shot the glider up into the air, and she was flying.

And then she opened her eyes and she was back at the launch pad.
