As they swam closer, she saw a few Corsolas holding the raft underneath. They were confused as they saw her and the other Pokemon. As she had told the plan to her Pokemon previously, she begin to let go of Gary, her Magikarp, and he then swam forward and tackled against one of the Corsola. At that instant, her squirtle, Leon bit the same unexpecting pokemon. The pink pokemon were surprised, but retaliate with bubble at the magikarp. The others had to watch as they kept the raft afloat. Unknown to Ace and her teammates, another corsola tackled the Leon, almost doing a back somersault in water. Squirtle had stop the movement and faced at his opponents

Ace watched the battle. Although her voice came out muffled, Leon knew exactly what she meant and continued to bite the same corsola (that he previously attacked) with followed by another tackle by the magikarp. The corsola then responded the move using recover while the other one had used harden.

Seeing as the corsolas can heal themselves, she switched her magikarp out and then send in her zangoose. Meanwhile, her squirtle continued to attack the same corsola with the same move.

As both of the corsolas used bubblebeam on the blue turtle, he had suffered some damages as it was not very effective on the water pokemon. The zangoose held its breath and swam towards one of the corsolas, slashing the opponent. And instead of using the same move, the squirtle swam fast in the water and tackled the corsola, leaving it as a critical hit. As one of the corsola fainted and slowly sank, the other who was still around had then continued to use harden.

Just one more to go, Ace thought. She was a bit worried of how long her zangoose can hold it's breath underwater.

Scar, her zangoose had continued to slash the other one and Leon had then continued to bite the pokemon repeatedly. The corsola recovered from the attackes and healed itself, but it wouldn't last long. Zangoose had continued to use slash, and left another critical hit, leaving the corsola in defeat.

With that, the other Corsolas were filled with terror as they then escape from Ace and the others. She looked at the raft which was shifting. She immediately returned her Zangoose and latched on her squirtle while coming up ashore, and going back into the submarine.

Allen quickly climbed to the top of the sub and returned Torque from the waters below to his Pokeball. "I wonder if anyone else cares that we basically just destroyed the structural integrity of an entire town... Even for a short period of time." He muttered, not within hearing range of anyone else thankfully. He knew the Corsola would come back eventually and reestablish the base, but how long would that take, he wondered. The purple spark of flames flashed, catching his attention. "!!" He'd seen it before... But where. Recognizing people he'd never cared to know before? How extremely odd...

Regardless, he followed the orders given, and ran off over to the panicing townsfolk, his Aqua garb gave him away immediately a man ran up to him, "You lot get out of here, you have no business showing up at a time like this!!" Allen pulled up a dark facade for response.
"Hehehe, You don't even know what's happened or you're up against." The man chuckled, "And if you don't back down now, I'll personally sink your entire town into the waves." May as well act the part, since he's already done so much to help it's current predicament.

"As if I would be threatened by of the likes of you! Go Wailmer!" The older man tossed a Pokeball, at the water between the town and the rocks Allen perched on.
"Let's go." He tossed Mama's Pokeball up into the air, the Stunfisk appeared on top of the water, "Prepare yourself, use Discharge!" Mama's fins glowed a bright yellow before a massive shock wave of electricity shot from her to the opponent, hitting the Wailmer hard, however it held on by a sliver of health.
"Wailmer! Use your Water Pulse!" The man shouted, his Pokemon breathing heavily, the Wailmer raised it's fins high out of the water and smacked the back down causing a pulse of water to shoot to Mama. The attack hit her hard, tossing her high out of the ocean.
"Angle yourself to use Bounce!" Mama quickly recovered, spinning into position, to fall directly onto the Wailmer, hitting it with a massive amount of damage.

"Wailmer! Rrrrrr! Whiscash! Get him!" And enraged man called out his next pokemon. Allen reacted quickly, he didn't want to use Tay again, but she had a super effective attack against it... He sighed, returning Mama, and tossing out the Oddish's Pokeball.
"I'll make short work of you, use your Mega Drain attack!" Tay nodded, sapping a massive amount of energy from the foe, but still not enough, the Whiscash retaliated with a Zen Headbutt, bashing Tay's tiny body with the powerful Psychic attack. Allen almost called out to her until he realized the Whiscash was fainted, she'd gone ahead with her next move, another Mega Drain, which sapped the rest of it's energy.
Allen smirked, returning his Pokemon, "What? Is that all the big bad Fisherman has?"
Said fisherman began begging for Team Aqua to not sink their poor town.

Allen felt terrible, so terrible for that he'd done, but none of it could be taken back. Even if he returned some day to apologize or help fix the place up, he'd be shunned, probably have rocks or sticks thrown at him. He held his demeanor, staring down the people.

Maddy caught Ginji's attention. "She looks familiar. And why haven't I seen her before?" he muttered to himself. Something smelt like fish, and it wasn't the Remoraid.

"Eat fishing rod Aqua Scum!" the townsfolk yelled as he sent out a Remoraid into battle. Ginji scowled as he raised his voice and proudly proclaimed "I'm a member of Team Rocket!" and sent out Porygon again.

Maddy sent out her Piplup as she found her target. The fisherman sent out a Feebas. The ugly little fish flopped helplessly off the raft and into the ocean water.
"Piplup, start this off with Drill Peck!"
Piplup flew forward at the Feebas in a cork-screwing motion, slamming the little fish hard with it's sharp beak. Feebas tackled Piplup weakly, doing only a bit of damage.
"Fury Attack, Piplup!"
The little blue penguin struck it's opponent hard with it's beak four times in a row! The little fish didn't have much fight left, but struck hard with Flail, also leaving Piplup with almost no energy left to stand.
"You can rest after this one, Piplup! Use Brick Break!"
Piplup jumped forward and slammed Feebas hard with the edge of one of it's flippers, KO'ing the fish.

Maddy recalled Piplup and sent out Su, her Larvitar. Feebas was replaced with a Wingull.
Wingull started the second round of the battle with Water Gun. The hit was painful, but Su could take it.
"Su, use Stone Edge."
Grabbing a sharp rock from nearby, the little green Pokemon leapt into the air and slashed at the seagull Pokemon, dealing a critical blow and KO'ing it one shot.
Su landed with a little smirk on her face and Maddy recalled her.

Maddy made her way back to the submarine, where Matthias was waiting.

Matthias glared at the black-haired, red-eyed woman.
"Why are you here?" He asked sternly.

Maddy merely shrugged while she waited with him.
"Archie requested me to be here. I don't know what he has in store."

Matthias looked worried. Whatever it was, it wasn't a matter to be taken lightly. If Maddy was here, then Archie had something big and terrible planned.

Finn watches as a couple of angry fishermen approach.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" One shouts at him.
"Whatever we want." He responds. He had just arrived and wasn't quite sure himself.
"Why you!" A fisherman charges him. Finn grabs the man's arm and twists it around before kicking him into the water. The other man jumps in to save his friend.
The two return to the surface quickly, riding a Wailmer. In a flash of light a Barboach appears. The two fishermen prepare for a battle.
"Come on out, Totodile and Invader."
Finn tosses a couple Pokeballs and two Pokemon appear, a Totodile and a shiny Ferroseed.
"Invader Seed Bomb that Barboach. Totodile, use Crunch!"
Ferroseed spins around and blasts seeds at the groun water type, KOing it in one hit. Totodile bites down hard on the Wailmer and is hit with a Water Gun in retaliation.
The Barboach using fisherman flees. It seems his Pokemon was more of a companion.
"Do the same attacks again," Finn orders.
Totodile bites down and Wailmer is then knocked out by the Seed Bomb. The Fisherman frowns, recalls his Pokemon, and flees.
"That wasn't too bad." He says as he recalls the two Pokemon.

Entropy didn’t have to walk long before she was confronted by a townsperson, a burly fisherman who did not look very happy. “Get out of our town, you Aqua maggot!”

“Aqua maggot? That isn’t a very polite way to talk to a lady. Go, Scraggy! Show this man some manners.” Scraggy came out of his pokeball, ready for battle. The fisherman released a Poliwag, who was intimidated by Scraggy. The Poliwag immediately released a Bubble attack at Scraggy after calming itself down. Scraggy was pushed back into the building, then had to take time to regain his footing on the raft. “Scraggy, use Brick Break!” Scraggy jumped up into the air, slamming down with the side of his paw knocking Poliwag right in the head. The pokemon yelped, immediately stumbling backwards and falling onto its rump for a moment. “You’re ok, Poliwag! Use Doubleslap!” The Poliwag jumped up, slapping Scraggy once, twice, then three times. Scraggy grabbed a paw at his face, which was in great pain. “Scraggy, faint attack!” Scraggy didn’t miss a beat, jumping forward and sucker punching Poliwag square in the jaw. The pokemon was swaying on its feet now, almost out for the count. “Poliwag, stay awake! Use Body Slam!” Poliwag slammed into Scraggy, who staggered backwards; he was getting tired now. “Alright Scraggy, Brick Break one last time!” Scraggy repeated the move, and after the crushing blow, Poliwag fell over, fainted. Both trainers returned their pokemon.

The fisherman chose Surskuit as his next pokemon, while Entropy chose Oddish. Oddish managed to get in the first move; “Use Sleep powder!” Oddish sprinkled the special dust on Surskuit, who subsequently fell asleep. It slept through the next move. “Oddish, Absorb!” Oddish absorbed some of the pokemon’s life, and it continued to sleep. “Oddish, absorb again!” This time, Surskuit simply fell over, fainted. The fisherman fled, terrified of Entropy.

“That’s just how I like it!” Entropy beamed, then returned Oddish. She walked to where the rest were standing and observed battles.

Matthias and Maddy watched as everyone made their way back to the submarine. The rafts seemed like they were holding, so luckily no one would be harmed.
"I guess Archie should be back soon..."

Aqua's leader came strolling up between a couple houses, a large round object wrapped in cloth under one of his arms.

"You secured the engine part, boss?"

"What's it look like?!" The man snapped, jumping onto the submarine with the others and looking at the town. People were running around yelling, everything seemed to be in chaos. He placed the object in Matthias' arms and then looked at Maddy.
"Burn it all so there's nothing left behind."

Maddy stared at Archie, wide-eyed.
"That's... why you brought me here?"

Matthias pushed Maddy aside.
"Sir! We got what we came here for, let's just leave."

"Orders are orders. We can all leave. The girl can handle it."

"Sir! These people have done nothing to deser--"

"Orders. Are. Orders."
Archie climbed into the submarine and waited for the others.

Maddy looked at Matthias and the others.
"He doesn't actually think I'll--"
She fell to her knees, sparks flying from her body.
"GAAAHH!"
She tried to get back to her feet, but the electricity flowing through her body caused her too much pain.

Matthias shook his head.
"This... isn't right."

Maddy couldn't take it anymore. She stretched her left arm out towards the town and purple flames leapt from her palm and onto the houses, lighting them like torches. The pain in her body ceased.
"N-No... I... No..."
She just stayed on her knees. She wouldn't dare look up at what she had done.

Matthias watched as the purple flames spread like wildfire.
"NO! Everyone, stop the fire!"
He released Blitzkrieg, his giant Wartortle.
"Hydro Pump!"
The turtle Pokemon doused nearby houses with a powerful torrent of water, but the flames burnt so hot that all water that went near instantly turned to steam.
The town was lost.

A maniacal chuckle could be heard from inside the submarine.

Finn frowns as he watches Maddy burn the town. He didn't care about the town or the people but something about the girl made him uneasy.
"Orders are orders huh?" He mumbles and takes a long look at the town then up at the sky. He then walks over to the girl and extends a hand.
"C'mon, we should get you out of here." He looks at the fires again. "It's not your fault you know."
