She stumbled onward, through the dark, something was near, she could feel it, subtle, close, growing warmer and filling the air with a sense of vibrating power.

Her fingers brushed metal and dried blood. She couldn't make out why blood covered the throne. But it was then she felt the words. Speak its name?

Pride? Voice? God even? No it wasn't a God, if it was a God this would be real, there wouldn't be another self she would exist whole in this world.

She simply stood beside the throne for a while pondering what to do next.

Nkosazana wasn't entirely certain where she was going.

She felt like she was bumbling about the floor, even as she attempted to get to her feet. How was she really going to walk around like this? There were certainly more people up here by now, and she couldn't see any of them. Would it, perhaps, be better if she kept herself still and didn't bother moving? Perhaps she should borrow the unused throne...

For a moment, in an attempt to reorient herself, Nkosazana turned herself around and sat herself in the empty throne. Perhaps she would be the king? A King of Fakes, a King of Lies, a King of Illusions really. What was The Voice's name? She had given her guess, but it might have been wrong, it might have been right--a guess was still just a guess in the end. Once she had its identity, perhaps, then she could get her revenge for all the lives it had damaged.

But for now, Nkosazana decided to get herself back up to her feet, brushing herself off. Alright. She needed to get going. She didn't know where she was going, but she was certainly taking herself somewhere. It was just a question of where that somewhere was, because she couldn't see it.

Attempting not to look as blind as she was--though really, it probably didn't matter, considering they had to be blind to enter the room in the first place--she brought her hands in to herself but flared her gloved fingers out, touching what was in her immediate vicinity with each step she took. With her feet, she took slightly longer strides, catching where her toes caught something and readjusting her route in that way.

Honestly, Nkosazana wasn't totally certain where she was going. Perhaps she was just trying to find her way out. Alternatively, and it struck her for a moment ... if she got to the entrance, maybe she could see once again?

Quote:
Name: Nkosazana
HP: 25/25
Kingdom: Silver
Rank: Wild Card
Miasma Color: Silver
Appearance: Nkosazana is a very tall humanoid-looking female, coming in at a perhaps daunting height of 6'3". Her skin is rather dark, with violet eyes and dark hair. She wears rather rustic looking clothing, perhaps making her obviously Silver. Now that she knows the truth, all of the smiles and gentleness seems to be gone from her face, replaced with a determination in her eyes and a bitter tone to her voice.

Bored with her "drinking straw" Millie fumbled around to the throne and used her fingernails and the gem to tap out intricate melodies she heard as a child in her old life, pretending the humming pieces of metal made different harmonic, echoing notes and were of different lengths.

Of course to anyone that could -actually- hear, it was just annoying tapping.

....
Well, nothing had happened.
Market day. She knew she should go see the scribe.
It wasn't that she was grieving for her father. Or her mother.
She had too much positive energy to not get over these things quickly. They still hurt, but... that wasn't why she stayed home that market day.

Clearly washing hadn't done anything (though she figured that it was probably a good idea)

But sitting here on the table, she couldn't think of much else to do.

Water was grief... right? Or was it protection? Protection was blue...
She wished she had paid attention.

The throne was pride. She wasn't stupid.

She couldn't remember the book anymore. It was a book. Books were nice.

And the rest of the room made no sense.

What of the table??? It was important, right? it wasn't just her, right?
Wait. She was sitting on it. Just how sturdy was this table anyway?

She stood up and gave it a few hops, just to be sure

Ami tripped into the room, over some fancy plates. She was the classiest and most graceful hunter in all the land.

When she got her footing, she saw mass hysteria. Four ... five- Ami wasn't sure HOW many, but a lot of kings were swirling with power, attacking people and giving no quarter. They looked relatively dangerous, so Ami determined that avoiding them would be the best measure. The room had many siderooms, and decorations, any of which Dakota could be hiding behind.

Then again, she couldn't picture Dakota cowering behind something. She imagined him either defending someone or running in brashly to bash a bad guy. On second though, maybe it was better he wasn't here.

Frowning, someone else talking about her not being whole. As she felt him lean forward against her. Her breath catching slightly thinking he was going to kiss her. Feeling him write about how he came to rescue her, she felt her eyes start to well up again. Pulling away and shaking her head, no he needed to leave he couldn't stay here with her. Closing her eyes she wrote in his palm one last time. She needed him to leave, she couldn't stand here and talk to him anymore. He was here to rescue his friends, she was standing in his way. A little clueless as to why that was the fact but knew deep down that she was only blocking his true goal.

Y-O-U...C-A-N-T...S-T-A-Y...H-A-V-E...T-O...F-I-N-D...Y-O-U-R...

She wasn't sure what to call the friend he was looking for. His lover or friend. Either way she felt the tears splash on her hand before she could finish. It was all she could do not to break down as she quickly moved. To bad the only place she got was bumping in to the table.

Slamming her hand down she hit the large book, her tears flowing a little more freely. She wasn't real...

While she was still very much stuck to whomever it was that had run into her, Sun found she had a modicum of range to move. She tested this by trying to get as far away from the others as she could. She heaved against the weight pulling her back, and her face made contact with a hard surface.

Her hand flew up to rub at her injury, and smacked into the bottom of the surface. Okay, double ow. It seemed she run into the table. Maybe if she grabbed onto it, she could pull a little farther away from the chain. Her hand flailed for the top of table, landed on something, and she tried to pull herself up.

Rrrrrrrrrip!

Sun fell backward, a piece of paper in stuck in her hand. Seems she'd ripped a page out of the book! She hung onto it, and an idea came to her. She tried folding the paper on itself. She couldn't see, so it was a definite challenge. When she was finished, she could feel 5 points at the top, and a part that vaguely felt like a wrist. She hoped it looked like a hand.
Okay, that was done. Now, she just needed to get over to that fountain! Sun got back up, and struggled over in that direction, attempting to drag her captors with her. After several sweaty minutes, her questing hand ran into it, and she heaved herself up to it.

She then deposited the paper hand into the middle of the liquid, so hopefully it looked like a hand coming out of the middle of a lake.

It was her best guess. Sun flopped back on the floor, and decided to take a bit of a rest.

Harrison let the other Rep feel his arm. He moved his hand, and cleaned up the crunched nose with the same ease he'd sealed the stab wound earlier.

Rep was blind, deaf, couldn't talk- but Harrison could still see the hope in his expression.

"Aw, hell, I'm not-"

Rep wouldn't be able to feel anything except the hum from his chest as he talked. Harrison trailed off awkwardly.

Like with the Throne. He felt more pity than anger.

He let Rep hang on to him, and patted his back. "Alright. I know. Guess neither of us got what we were looking for."

Frustrated with the chair and it's demand for a name. Maple pushed off of it very carefully, hoping not to run with yet another person or something that would just be terrible. There were still more bodies around though, so bumping into someone was probably going to be inevitable.

But she tried as much as she could, often wondering when this was actually going to end. The pillars had told her that this dream would end, and she was almost frustrated enough to demand for it to be. What was the point of the Voice making them walk around blindly? Maple was obviously failing in figuring it out and it was getting so frustrating.

Carefully, she kept moving and almost to the point of paranoia. He hands went around wildly, trying to feel for something new - and not the damn chair. Her hand hit a solid object and the other went to hold herself to it, feeling around to identify it. It was simple in shape, thankfully different, and seemed almost like the objects she had seen upon her death.

But it was shorted and when she smashed her hand on the top of it, she felt it cool and wet. A liquid, something a little foreign to her. Was she also feeling.. paper? What was this? More curious with the possible water or whatever it was, the small once Shadow brought her hand up to where her face should have been, sniffed it and then licked a finger to taste. Water? Or .. poison - please be poison. She almost wouldn't put it past her to accidentally ingest something that could kill her.

It made all the difference in the world. Even if it wasn't his Harrison, even if it was someone else's again, it didn't matter. Even having his nose mended didn't seem out of place, that was what Harrison did, fixing his injuries. Maybe it was like Jerry and Candace, maybe he'd just come back, betrayed for nothing at all.

Resting his head against his chest, he wondered if it was like him and Tracey, if this Harrison's heart was synched to his own's. He reached for Harrison's wrist and traced letters there with his forefinger.

Ami peered around one of the side rooms, looking for Dakota's massive figure. Unfortunately, down the hall was simply a staircase.

She tiptoed down the hallway to examine the staircase. Her shins and thighs were aching though, so the idea of climbing more stairs wasn't very desirable. "Dakota?" she called up them. No response.

Down past the stairway, there was a large book with worn, yellowed pages. Seeing as she was a bit of a bibliophile, it immediately caught her interest. She peered into it, flipping a few pages. She couldn't make anything out, of course- it was too dark.

A noise in the other room distracted her. The clash of metal made it apparent the battle was still very much raging. She didn't have time for books. She needed to get out of here!

There was one thing at least that she was almost sure of. The figure in front of her with one hand settled just above her hip was a man. If not, then it was a very unfortunate woman that was shaped like a man. She wasn't sure if that really made any of this much better. As another hand found it's way to her other side she let out another silent and inaudible sigh, a warm breath of air that the probably-a-man might feel against the back of his neck. She let her hands drop from his face, coming to rest on his shoulders. She would have pulled away, but she didn't really see much point. She didn't know where she was or what she was doing, and he seemed to be trying to protect her, maybe, from something. After all, there was a reason he had come barreling into her with enough force to knock them both off of their feet.

And wasn't that a bit of a disconcerting thought? There could be a battle waging around her and she would not have a clue. She could be the only one in this room right now that was experiencing a loss of over half of her senses. And worse then all of that, this man might be a student, or even a hunter, and she just wouldn't have a clue.

That was enough to make her grit her teeth, a strong urge to shove the man away welling up inside of her. But it wouldn't be warranted, and there was always the small chance that this was one of her friends. Conflicted, she let her hands slip away completely, then raised an index finger to what she thought was the area between the figures shoulder blades and wrote a word upon his back, the repeating the question mark at the end several times so that he might get the hint that she was burning with a desire, but a desire for answers, not one to have her body pressed up against what might be a complete stranger.

The word was simply "Who?"

(( Entering ))

As soon as Merope read the sign on the door, his vision darkened. He stood there outside the door, waiting. Nearly a full minute passed before it occurred to him exactly what the sign meant. With a frown, Merope reached out to feel the door only to feel a breeze from it opening. He flailed about for a moment, locating the doorframe and moving along the wall. It wasn't until he reached the corner that he crouched down carefully, reaching into his sash.

Merope withdrew his Shadow tarot cards. He ran his fingers along them before he placed them down on the ground, sliding them into the corner. One last, farewell pat was given to them before he stood, his hands groping the wall to find the open door. Where he was going, he didn't need the cards.

He listened to the Voice's story as he entered the room, surprised at the cold floor. But... where were the walls? He stumbled forward, careening around blindly.

Quote:

Merope's talons caught on the grooves in the floor, tripping him up and quite possibly making him crash into the nearest person.
