Merrick shivered slightly as he shifted slightly. "It's funny, but most people would feel very disturbed at feeling that way about someone only a couple of weeks after meeting someone, but I don't. I can say that any demon that goes after either of us had better have one hell of a life insurance policy.... though I kinda doubt there's a demonic lawyer down on that side," he joked.

Kasumi forced back a laugh before her brother shot up out of the water, twisting in mid-air and spraying water on both of them. "You're welcome," she said with a giggle before she shot a look at her brother, who just grinned.

Lorcán smiled slightly. "Sometimes it's the biggest leap of faith that proves to lead to the grandest prizes and surprises," he said quietly.

Constance giggled as she looked at Merrick with loving eyes; she didn't realize she was doing it. "I doubt it as well." When she smiled at him her whole face seemed to light up. "I don't feel in the least bit disturb about how I feel about you. I understand how some people might, but what really matters is how we feel."~~~~ Merida rolled her eyes and glanced up at Naruto when he got water all over herself and Kasumi. They hadn't talked much about what had been going on while Kasumi was in captivity. "Is there...anything that you want to know? I mean..about what has been going on since you've been gone?"~~~~ Cassandra smiled as she rested her head on Lorcan's shoulder. Her breathing had evened out and all she wanted to do was lay with him. "You are the most wonderful and greatest thing to have come into my life," she said softly.

Merrick smiled faintly, unaware his eyes were the same. "Anyone who says its wrong can go swim in the nearest volcano for all I care," he said quietly.

Kasumi cocked an eyebrow. "Last I remember, Ronald Reagan was going for president against Jimmy Carter... I actually voted for Reagan a few days before I was 'foxnapped'," she said wryly. She wanted to know everything that had happened since she was kidnapped.

Lorcán chuckled. "You are as common as a true black diamond, yet you shine brighter than Rigel," he said quietly, referring to the bluish white supergiant star in the constellation Orion. To him, she made Rigel look like a forty watt light bulb as compared to the sun.

"My sentiments exactly," Constance said softly as she leaned forward and placed her lips over his, kissing him gently. Normally she would never have been so forward, but things were different with Merrick. ~~~~ "Ah, well you will be glad to know that Reagan won then." Merida said with a small as she lounged back in her chair. "What else is there?" Her head tilted to the side slightly. ~~~~ Cassandra blushed at Lorcan's compliment. He had a way with words, and making her feel extremely special. "Lorcan...there aren't any words that can adequately describe what you mean to me. I don't even know where to begin."

Merrick shivered slightly as her lips touched his. Excellent cook, excellent kisser, beautiful body and personality... what else could a guy want? he thought wryly, unaware that his thoughts, for an instant, brushed Constance's own.

Kasumi shifted one shoulder in a shrug. "I don't know... everything?" she said with amusement. She meant it, too.

Lorcán chuckled. "I know the feeling. I could say enough things to you to fill up a thousand Britannica encyclopedias and it wouldn't be enough," he said quietly, meaning it.

Constance pulled back slightly and smiled at Merrick. The kiss had been wonderful, sweet. Her hand caressed his face gently. She couldn't seem to form any words to say to him. She just wanted to look at him, drink in the beauty she saw in him. He was completely perfect to her. ------- Merida laughed as she shook her head. "Everything is a lot Kasumi. I don't even know where to start." She wrapped her arms around her legs as she pondered what to tell her friend first. "Oh, Cassandra had confided in me, while quite drunk, that she has always had a crush on Lorcan." She chuckled softly. "It seems they may have started up a little romance since arriving here." ------- Cassandra chuckled softly, her cheeks seemed to be staying the dark red color of blush. "You sure do know how to make a girl feel special Lorcan." She looked at him with sparkling eyes.

Merrick, this time, consciously leaned his head slightly against Constance's hand as his eyes closed slightly. "I'm sure most guys in this situation would be trying to take certain things and liberties... but frankly, I'm just fine with looking at you," he said with a half smile.

Kasumi shrugged. "I'm not that surprised, considering Lorcan's protective nature and personality. Most would assume that as a 'bookworm nerd', he can't protect himself, but we know better, hai?" she said with amusement, knowing Merida knew exactly what she meant. Lorcan had helped them out from several tight situations before her 'disappearance'.

Lorcán shrugged. "Hey, at least I try to use somewhat unique pick-up lines rather than the older, corny ones," he said jokingly as he gently trailed his hand from her abdomen up to her breasts.

Constance chuckled and smiled. "And I am happy to be here with you like this." She kissed him on the cheek this time as she lay her head back down next to his. She was glad that Merrick wasn't like some of the other young men she had met over the years. At first they pretended to want to be her friend, but then their true intentions came to light. She couldn't help but chuckle a little as she remembered the looks of horror on their faces when they not only had to face her, but Merida and Lorcan as well. ------- Merida laughed as she nodded. "Oh yeah...he has brains and brawn." She stretched out her legs and moved her shoulders in a circular motion. Faint pops could be heard coming from her bones. "I think those two are perfect for each other." Merida would never admit it out loud, but she longed for that type of companionship. ------- A shiver went through Cassandra's body as Lorcan's fingers trailed over her bare skin. It felt so good, so wonderful. She smiled at him. "And that what makes me love you so much." She clamped her mouth shut as she realized what word she had just said. What she had admitted. The last person she had told she loved them was her mother...and she had died shortly after that.

Kasumi tilted her head. "Don't try and hide it from me; it's obvious you want it too," she said with a teasing giggle. She grabbed Merida's hand and tugged her towards the Jacuzzi.

Constance sighed softly as she nestled against Merrick. It felt good to be tucked into his side. ------- Merida rolled her eyes as she followed after her friend. "Maybe I do and maybe I don't." She gave a little shrug as she slipped into the jacuzzi. "But I will be hard pressed to find a man who will put up with me." She sighed as she settled in her spot. She had tried dating over the years, but her power and her mood swings seemed to scare the men off. ------- Cassandra nodded slowly as she snuggled close to Lorcan. "Good," she said softly.

Merrick shifted slightly as he felt his tails emerge, one directly between them as the other five seemed to sway with a mind of their own. Unconsciously he shivered. He wasn't sure why, but when his tail brushed against Constance's hand, it felt...strange, but pleasant.

Kasumi tilted her head before she giggled. "Don't I know it; I've only been close to three people at most," she said before Naruto suddenly flickered into existence with a stupidly cheesy grin on his face behind Merida before she finished what she was saying. "That I wasn't related to," she finished, rolling her eyes. Naruto snickered as he shrugged before he jogged back over to the pool and kept swimming.

Lorcán hugged her gently, shivering slightly. He couldn't beleive they'd actually gotten intimate... and enjoyed it.

Constance glanced between them as one of Merrick's tails brushed against her hand. It felt weird, but not in a bad way. Her gaze then went to the others that swayed back and forth. She wondered what that was about, but she didn't say anything. She just snuggled closer to him. ---- Merida had sensed Naruto behind her, but by the time she turned around he was back in the pool. Her gaze went back to Kasumi. "I haven't gotten close," she stressed the word close, "with anybody...ever. it just never went that far. I am too forceful and quick to anger." She rolled her eyes. ---- Cassandra was completely at peace at the moment. She and Lorcan were together and that was all that mattered right now.

Merrick shifted, bumping her slightly in a teasing way. "You can feel them if you want, I don't mind," he said quietly.

Constance blushed slightly as she looked at his tails again. She hadn't said anything about wanting to feel the tails, he just seemed to know. She grinned a little at him as she lightly ran her hand over the tail that had touched her hand only moments ago. ~~~~~~~ Merida smiled slightly. "I guess we will see then." She lay her head back, relaxing in the jacuzzi. "So, questions...shoot me some questions. Like I said, I don't even know where to start telling you about anything."~~~~~~~ Cassandra's eyes closed as she rested with Lorcan underneath the blankets. She could feel herself beginning to drift off to sleep.

Merrick exhaled slowly, the purring starting in his throat again as he felt a chill shoot up his spine. He noticed his... interest... reacted as well, growing noticeably. He had no intention of forcing himself in any way, however.

Kasumi tilted her head, sighing as the heat relaxed her muscles. "Music, for one; I'll admit, I didn't mind disco... but it did get old faster than an Irish alcoholic," she said wryly, thinking.
