Sighing, Jayden shifts and puts his injured legs towards Maia. "Can we not tell Lorelei?" He asked in a whisper "or my sister, I don't need them complaining about this too."
Done crying, Aaleah steps away from Lorelei and looks at the ground. "S-s-sorry." she forced out, not like to apologize.

Maia nods. She sprinkles the dirt over Jayden's burns. The burns and dirt fade away slowly, thus healing Jayden. She says, "What were they fighting about?"Lorelei looks at Aaleah. She says, "It's okay. I-I'm sorry too... I shouldn't have said it the way I did..." She failed to mention the fact that she didn't need to throw the fireballs like she did.

"Aaleah was mad at Lorelei. She felt like Lorelei didn't appreciate what we did to help and then she doesn't like you much," Jayden said send her an apologetic look "So, Lorelei being nice and buddy-buddy with you pissed her off."Aaleah shrugged. None of them every really cried before so she's feeling a bit embarrassed about being the first one to cry like a baby.

Maia tilts her head to the side. She says, "Why does she not like me that much? I understand that there is no reason to like me, obviously, but I didn't think I gave her a reason to not like me. Not yet at least..."Lorelei looks around for a minute. She then looks at Aaleah and says, "Is there something else that was bothering you?"

"It was a misunderstanding." Jayden explained looking at Maia. "When you said you were here just to save Lorelei and would leave us behind. She doesn't trust you and if my sister doesn't trust you then she doesn't like you." Jayden shook his head at his sisters behavior "Its just how she is."Aaleah looked down at the ground. She weighed the pros and cons before answering "I don't like that girl Maia" she mumbled "I don't want to travel with her. I don't want to be near her."

Lorelei's expression suddenly disappeared. She says sadly, "Oh..." She glanced at Maia for a few seconds to a minute, then back at Aaleah, "Why?"Maia looks at the ground and kicks the dirt up a bit. She then looks back up at Jayden. She says, "But that was what you were here to do too. If Kylee wasn't there when I was captured, would either or both of you have just left me behind? If when we were all escaping I was captured, would either or both of you have left me behind? Not knowing Lorelei's connection to me at either of the times?" She then looks over at Lorelei and notices her blank expression. She mutters, "Just like the first time...?" She shakes her head. 'What are they talking about?' She expects one of her powers to kick in, but is surprised when it doesn't. Must be too close to the castle still, she assumes. She slyly takes a few steps away from the direction of the castle. She then focuses on Lorelei and Aaleah's conversation again. Her power of Instant Learning kicks in. She knows the last few things said in their conversation. She says in a worried tone, with a worried expression, "Lorelei..."

Aaleah hesitated at the sad tone Lorelei used. When she looked up, she saw the lack of expression "Forget it." Aaleah said, she didn't think telling the girl would upset her so much "Its fine, I'll live. She your friend and stuff so forget I said anything about it." she said dismissively as she turned to leave.
"Well we never calculated the thought of others being in there. If you were where we could free you, yes, but I wouldn't have thought twice if you weren't near Lorelei. If you were leaving with us, we'd go and get you. You would have help us out if you were along side us." Jayden looked at Lorelei's blank expression and Aaleah turning away. "Just remember that she's all we have. If you take her away then Aaleah and I will be alone again. That's what my sister fears most, being abandoned again, and your a threat to making that happen. You may not try or notice, but that's mostly why she dislikes you, she sees Lorelei liking you more and turning her backs on us." Jayden said lowly. It wasn't all just Aaleah's fears he was explaining, but his own as well.

Lorelei grabs Aaleah's arm. She looks at her for a minute, hesitating to explain. She takes a deep breath and looks Aaleah straight in the eyes. She then says, "Maia was the first."Maia looks at Jayden. She says while getting closer to Aaleah and Lorelei, "I didn't come with the intentions of taking Lorelei anywhere. Even if I did, she's a leader, not a follower." She looks at Jayden for a moment, then back at Lorelei and Aaleah. She stops walking towards them when she hears what Lorelei said. She stares at Lorelei, not expecting that at all.

"Aaleah froze and pulled her arm away. "Its fine, just stop it." she said "I don't need a stupid explanation. I can deal with it." she mumbled. Sensing the newcomers Aaleah looked up and glared at Maia before turning away.
Jayden followed Maia and froze hearing what Lorelei said. He looked at his sister and grimaced at the evilest glare hes ever seen from her get aimed at Maia. He was about to say something when she looked away.
"Can I go now?" Aaleah asked as nice as she could, making her voice emotionless and detached "I want to go do something else."

Lorelei's face twinges just slightly. She let go of Aaleah and puts her hand on her chest. She pulls the ribbon she has on her arm tighter (Just like in the picture above, except holding back her emotions), but that is just for show. She is really manipulating her own emotions, to make them go away. She's never told anyone that she does this. She has used this power in this specific way on one person that wasn't her when she was asked to, however. Her face looks nearly completely expressionless now (Exactly like the picture above.)Maia looked at Aaleah and wondered why she did that for a few seconds. She then looked at Lorelei again. Her eyes widened when she saw what Lorelei was doing. She runs over to Lorelei and says, "Lorelei! No!" She quickly moves Lorelei's hand away from her chest. She looked in Lorelei's eyes when Lorelei looked at her. She says lowly, "Lorelei...?"

Once her arm was freed, Aaleah bolted off into the forest. As she ran, Aaleah was chanting to herself and continued as she sat in a ball staring at a small puddle.
"Lorelei?" Jayden asked, seeing the empty look on her face, Jayden started to get angrier and angrier as he glared in the direction his sister ran off too and growled "She is stupid!" he raged making fists "I'll be back, after knocking sense into her." he said coldly as he started towards Aaleah's direction.

Lorelei stares at Maia. Images from the past flash before her eyes, as Maia starts tearing up.

Younger versions of Lorelei, Maia, and Holo were standing in an alleyway in the village. Holo was scolding Lorelei about setting some kid's clothes on fire.
"I don't care about your scoldings and I'm not going to listen to them, so just go away!" Lorelei finally blew up. She was still learning to control her powers so she threw an unstable fireball at Holo in anger.
Maia didn't really understand what was going on, but she remembered Kylee and how she felt now that Kylee was gone. She didn't want Lorelei to feel the same, and have Holo's blood on her hands. She held her hands up and made vines come up and block Lorelei's attack. She then made the vines go around Holo and take her away. Out of breath, she leaned against a wall of the alleyway and slid down to the ground, sitting.
Lorelei started tearing up. She sat down next to Maia and looked at her, put her hand with a small ribbon on it on her chest. She manipulated her own emotions to make them go away. She said, "Why... Why did you do that?"
Maia looked at Lorelei and smiled, "Because, I don't want you to lose your sister. It hurts," Her voice starts cracking and tears form in her eyes, "It hurts to lose a sister." She then looked down a bit, "I can only imagine how much it hurts when you're the reason that you're sister's gone forever..." She then noticed a glowing purple in Lorelei's palm. She wondered what it was, and it triggered her Instant Learning power.
Lorelei smiled a bit. She said lowly, "Thank you..." She wiped away the tears from her eyes, still manipulating her own emotions. Once the tears were gone her expression started fading, and she stopped manipulating her own emotions.
Maia looked at Lorelei. She then started wiping the tears away from her own eyes. She said hopefully, "Could you... Could you make the pain go away? Like you made yours go away?"
Lorelei was surprised by this. She wondered how Maia knew, but she didn't spend much time thinking about it. She nodded, "Don't worry, I'll make the pain go away!" She then did what she did to herself, to Maia.
Maia looked at Lorelei when she finished. She said, "Thank you...."
"It doesn't last forever though..." Lorelei stated.
"That's alright! As long as we're friends forever, it won't be a problem! Right?"
Lorelei giggled and nodded.
Maia held her hand out in a fist, with her pinky finger pointing up. She said, "Pinky swear," She shook her head, "Magical pinky swear that we'll be best friends forever!" Her pinky finger, which had a little dirt on it, started glowing teal.
Lorelei smiled. She was surprised that the happiness broke through her emotion magic, but she didn't think about it much. She smiled and shook her head, "Sisters." She held her hand up in a fist, with her pinky finger pointing up. A little fire is emanating from her pinky finger.
Maia's eyes glistened. She crossed her pinky finger with Lorelei's.
They started moving their hands up and down in a rhythm, and chanted in the same rhythm, "I swear on my heart, I swear on my magic, I swear on my future, past, and present, I will not break this magical promise or a curse will spread throughout."
They both put their hands down and smiled at each other. They said happily, "Forever."

As soon as the flashback is over, Lorelei blinks at Maia. She put her hand on Maia's chest and started doing the same thing she did to herself to her. She says sweetly, "Don't worry, I'll make the pain go away..."Maia stares at Lorelei. She says, "Wha-? Wai-!" Before she could finish, Lorelei finishes manipulating her emotions. She wipes away the tears from her eyes. She says, "For some reason, I can't remember why I had the pain, or how I knew the pain of losing a sister..."Kyumia notices the twins running off. She was busy taking care of Snowdrop, but she figured it wasn't a good idea to wander too far from each other when Shion could still be around and could attack at any moment. She looked up at the sky and blew out air. She made a dome of rapidly swirling air around the group. She smiles and says, "Wouldn't want anyone getting hurt or captured by mean old Shion." She giggles.

Sitting there mumbling to herself, Aaleah was tackled violently from behind by Jayden.
"You stupid!" Jayden yelled punching his sister "Selfish!" another hit "Spoiled brat!" he shouted shaking Aaleah by her collar. "Whats wrong with you?"
"Go away! I don't want to be with you people!" Aaleah shouted kicking Jayden in the stomach and pushing him off.
Glaring at each other, both twins wrapped their element around their hands and started fighting, unaware of their guest watching.
Shion smiled as her prize was in reach. Walking, she hit an invisible force and cursed under her breath. Thinking quickly, Shion warped reality disrupting the shield long enough for her to step in.

Kyumia jumps up as she senses a breach in her dome. She looks in the direction of it and says, "That's where the twins went..." She looks over at Lorelei and Maia. She calls out, "Jayden and Aaleah might be in trouble!" She doesn't wait for their response and used the wind to quickly fly them towards the twins.
