The silence was actually worse the the previous yelling. He felt his skin crawl as he imagined that Bella was lurking some where with a plan to get him good for his comment. The were penguin looked from one shoulder to the other not really watching where he was going until he bumped in a body that at first he swore was Bellas.
"BEL-..." This was not Bella. This body didn't feel the same. "..?" He was silent for a moment.
"Sorry .. Uh. You haven't seen or heard Bella lately have you..?" It was dark so it was hard to really tell who he had bumped in to, "Oh hi . This is Rowly here uh.." Clearly his nervousness was starting to get a little bit of the better of him.

Tex stopped, his neck turning red as he squeezed--just once, then jerked his hand back as if it were hot. "Jackdamn, I was reachin' for your hand, I swear I was!" he said, sounding a bit flustered. "Absolutely ONLY your hand, May, I mean, this isn't the place for--"

Exploring the PassagewayUna ran into something that seemed softer and more organic than the walls she had been getting to know up close these past few minutes. Also it talked. Even in the complete darkness she took the time to straighten out her hair and clothing a bit. "Oh, right. It's Una." "Seen? No. Heard?" There was still a faint echo ringing in her ears. "... Yes." EXPLORING THE PASSAGEWAY~
May sighed with relief, but had mixed feelings. Was it bad that part of her kind of sort of wanted-
"O-Oh," was her eloquently put response. "Well." She was just a wordsmith, wasn't she? Only now did she notice how close in proximity they were. Her hand was wrapped in his. They were in a dark cave with no one around.
Sure they had that whole blood trail thing to follow, buuuut ... It could wait. "You know," she said, pulling his other hand into hers, "It'd uh ... It'd be okay."

There is a saying by a wise and acclaimed legendary Reaper that you should never count your scareons before they grow into their second stage.
This had nothing to do with this situation.
However, there was unfortunately no time to ponder the wise words of the Reaper, which had nothing to do with the situation as a second later, where Dabir had been standing-
- Something large, slimy, and oddly discoloured hit them with a loud smack, enough to send them flying into the already narrow wall. And then there was the smell, something putrid, wet and oddly smelling of seafood. Like lightly grilled Floresce, only more pungent. And ten thousand times larger.
Another wham as the another large discoloured blob hit Dis sending driplets of water and slime flying everywhere. A faint cast of the light quickly betrayed its location though: it was attacking from a raised crack in the ceiling above. This did not however, solve the fact that it was clearly making quick work of the students, sending them flying left and right like objects in a Spectral Blender in the the already small space. And were those.... tentacles?
Oversized tentacles more like it, that simply flailed wildly and rather effectively. Well, thankfully there is a saying by a wise Undead that goes something like:
Dude, roasted squid tastes like human flesh. BOSS ENCOUNTER THE GIANT SQUID (in the crack): HP 120/120- If your student has not posted yet or is not at the dead end, the ground shakes and the noise directs you to the boss- All students are allowed one Fear attack for this fight. - Natural abilities are really not practical in this situation considering the closed off space. One should also be careful and very mindful of their Fear attacks too. - The problem with a small space is that it is a small space. If your attack MISSES, the next person posting takes the damage from the miss. Make sure you indicate in your post if you MISSED and how much damage your miss was. - The miss is of course dictated either by Fear mechanic rules (ie: rolling swift strikes and rolling a 1 on first dice) OR through the modifier. For example, I roll 2d10, and I get 1, 3. 6-3 = 3. The person BELOW me is hit for 3 damage. - Before you start on the rp PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE IMMEDIATELY EDIT INTO YOUR POST how much damage you do and the boss's remaining HP AS FROM THE POST ABOVE YOU subtracted by the damage you do so the other players know. PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF OTHER PLAYERS. - You may attack three times per character but you have UNLIMITED RP reaction posts. - To attack you are using Y3 stats, that is for a melee attack 2d10 - 6, otherwise use Y3 fear mechanics. Make sure you edit to post your HP amount as well and quote anyone you are talking to.

"I dunno why it was bright or why it brought us here, but I DEFINITELY don't like it. Not one bit. There has to be a reason this place was restricted." Callie winced a bit as the minipet was smashed against the wall; dissipation or not, it still boiled down to smashing something's head. "Just . . . make it quick."
And then, wildly, she thought the mixed tea began to cry for help. But it wasn't high-pitched and squeaky like she thought it would be, no, it was softer, less tangible. The golem tossed her head this way and that, confused. "You guys hear that?"

It had taken Ren a great deal of wandering in the tunnels to find his way to anywhere. It was the noise that finally did the trick. If asked, he could just say that he was - uh - looking for some important clue. Or something. Yeah.
He arrived on the scene, took one look at the massive tentacles, and flinched back. His uncles had told far too many gleeful stories about tentacle monsters. He was going to have to take a moment and nerve himself up.

The hallway shook and there was a dank smell in the air. There was scuffling, the sound of things hitting walls, and then dripping. "HEY! What's going on guys?!" She called out, turning and heading down the hallway blindly.

"Ugh what IS that horrible SMELL." She commented as the pungent scent of the surrounding area suddenly got a little bit fishier. Being a bird of prey one would assume she might like seafood... doesn't mean she enjoyed the smell. Her question was soon answered though as something invisible to the eye decided to make its presence known.. and caused ALL of them to fly backwards, and slam in to the wall. Gritting her teeth a little the phoenix squeaked in pain. She was still not entirely healed from the encounter with Red.. b***h slammed her in to the ground even!
Pyres impatience being as legendary as ever, thought, she leapt at the chance to kick some tentacled butt! No..literally. She leaped. Back pains be damned, she decided to run at the creature and slash at it with her nails.

Vel's impatience paid off. Because now there was ACTION. Granted, she really had to wonder what the hell this giant slime tentacle beast was doing here. Was it the guardian of this place? She wasn't sure. It didn't matter. Right now, this beast was attacking a few of them and that meant it was time for a fight. It smelled tasty anyway. "Alright, now this is what I'm talking about. Looks like you're off the hook for now, my little Dicky," she smirked. "So let's get WILD!" she said before letting out a shrill battle cry and flexing her claws. It was pretty cramped in here. But, she wasn't concerned. The raptor, ignoring the goo splattering onto her, lashed out with her claws. She managed to sink them in pretty nicely. It didn't feel so great with the ooze, but hey. She struck HARD. HP: 50 Damage: 11 to Tentacle Attack: 1 Boss: 106

He was following May's lead, his mind completely on making out and NOT on getting to the source of the lullaby, when she backed up a step to get to the end--
And the world shook, making him take a step forward with her and stare blankly at the monster coming out of the crack. "Well... that just blew the mood," he said blandly. "Has anyone tried talkin' with him?" he asked the ones already there.

Okay. Though Avery expected something might happen, he never in his wildest dreams would have expected well.... that! What the hell was it!? The smell alone was wanting to make him keel over. Disgusting!
"It definitely smells like its past its expiration date!" He grumbled out, throwing a swift punch into one of its tentacles. Doing his best to ignore how the slime oozed onto his hand.

Now Dis in theory Dis was pretty okay with tentacles. They both liked the same things. Ghouls. Schoolgirl outfits. Certain parts of the anatomy. Coming onto people even when they said no but really they totally wanted it anyway. In theory, Dis and tentacles were soul bros. Except when they thought it was totally cool to fling him around and cover him in water and slime. That was where he started to wonder if he wanted or did not want. Thankfully he didn't think long as he saw the boil who had vanished from him last time he tried to get some action. "Hey foxy~" Dis had no shame, even if tentacles were flailing. "I missed you the other day...How about you give me a quick good luck kiss before I go take care of some tentacles? I'll accept blood too." No. Shame.

And then Callie saw the overgrown calamari smack Dabir and screamed. Not in fear, well not entirely: surprise, anger, fear, and just because she was tired of this ******** day being ruined.
"GO DIE IN A FIRE, WIGGLY," the golem snarled, managing in the cramped space to extend paper and slice a bit at the beastie. It was hard to move, but with her fluid form eventually Callie managed to cram herself by the fallen reaper. "You alright there, pal?"Callie's HP: 50 Damage: 2 Attack: 1/3 Boss HP: 97
