Susan Chang Reilynn was possibly the most cheery girl Susan had ever met, and always talking. "I guess I could take a look at the instructions. We can do this manually, no need for magic here, okay Reilynn?" Susan said and grinned. Susan grabbed the insructions and read through them word-by-word.. she understood the gist of what was meant to be done, carefully she rolled up the sleeves of her kimono, she didn't want it to get caught or dirty.
Susan carefully took a piece, it looked like what could be the tip of the rocket, so she put it aside. Susan grabbed a base so the surface area was level and so the rocket wouldn't wobble around. (( OOC: I'm just about to make dinner and eat, I'll be back on later.. hopefully ))

"You know, I'm not much of a fighter, but..." Reilynn watched Susan as she worked. She grinned. "Woooow! Susan, you're pretty good with your hands. I can help out too! Just hand me the pieces to stick together and I can put them together." Reilynn said. "You know, this is like a puzzle. I never finished a puzzle before since I used to always fit the wrong pieces in the wrong places and then they'd tear apart since I'm forcing them together." She probably should quit doing that. "The only time I actually finished a puzzle was when I used magic!" Of course and then it exploded suddenly afterwards.
Reilynn glanced at Professor Volce who had a very lacking reaction to her random thought. She smiled at him. "I don't know. You just have a very fatherly vibe that hangs around you and since you're too young to be a grandpa, you're like a daddy!" Reilynn explained. "But you sure don't look like a dad. Maybe if you smiled more often, you'll be even more likeable!" "...I'm a pretty darn good treasure hunter!"

Susan Chang Shocked to her Reilynn's voice in her ear, Susan nearly dropped the piece she was holding. She glanced at Reilynn and opened her mouth to speak. "Yeah, this is indeed like a puzzle, infact, heres the bottom of the rocket and the three wings that go around it. If you could stick them around the bottom, maybe 2 or 3 centremetres from the bottom of it, that would be great" Susan explained to Reilynn, hoping she wouldn't break anything.
Susan nervously took another piece. This one looked like the middle of the rocket, so she put it back with the tip of the rocket. 'Hope Reilynn doesn't break it again' Susan thought to herself and watched nervously as Reilynn worked on it.

┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ ⇥ѵıиϲєиҭ иıɢʜҭ⇤ ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ Vincent rolled his eyes and simply took a seat, ignoring both of the two's remarks. He sat there then studied what they had built up to now. Vincent examined it for some time before snatching Angela's note book to rip a piece of paper out. Vincent then got to work on drawing a better design, that would be more efficient than her rocket, but it was just an improved version of hers. "This design would be easier to execute and we would still get the maximum lift needed to make the rocket go far..." Vincent said and began explaining the reasons as to why it would work, going into great detail about the physics involved. Vincent soon finished his tirade and was going to wait for their response when the bell suddenly rang. He set the paper down and got up to leave. They had gotten some work done, but they would need to finish the rocket some other time. It wouldn't be too hard since they already had the base and plus Vincent was a genius so what couldn't he do? Angela.Tremaine The goblin remains and the princess will die, the right road to Faerie, is the blink of an eye...
"Don't tear pages out of my notebook you b*****d!" Angela shouted at Vincent's back. "And I don't need a bloody lecture because you made two cosmetic changes to my designs." She neatly ripped his page in half and tossed it aside. Good lord. It was a bloody rocket. It's not like they were designing the new shuttle. And his changes were superficial at best. Her design was already sleek and efficient. If they went with his overly simplified design, any headwind at all would completely screw it up and probably fall into a tumble at landing.
Hers was designed as it was for added stability with the gradually tapered nosecone, and plans to coat it in teflon to reduce wind resistance. His method for anchoring the parts was also more simple, but more likely to fall apart midflight--or at least come loose. And moving parts caused drag. Angela's anchoring system was a little more complex, and added weight, but would ensure the rocket was sturdy enough to make the entire flight with as little wind resistance as possible. She frowned. "Well, I suppose we'll go with his fin design," she said, making a few small changes on her own sketch. She wasn't above compromising.
In the end, his design focused too much altitude and too little on stability. She wasn't going to risk added drag and tumble just for extra height. A good combination of stability, loft and altitude would get them a better grade than focusing too much in one area.
(( =w= Genius or not, Angela's also established to be exceptional in physics. I doubt he could improve her designs that much, that fast. So I'm assuming that was hubris. I get that he's a genius but make him a genius on his own merits--not by railroading other characters. People will love you more if you do. <3 ))Where charming old stories, in blood are expressed, like tears of cream on a strawberry dress...

"You know, I'm not much of a fighter, but..." "Don't worry! I totally got this down from watching you!" Reilynn answered as she took the pieces and attempted to do what Susan explained to her.
The going was slow since Reilynn didn't want to break it again. Reilynn was definitely not used to slow. She wanted to get it done and just shove the pieces together, but that's just not how it works, right? She has to be patient. If Susan can do it, then so can Reilynn.
But magic always makes things better. Reilynn wanted to take the short cut and just use magic to make the rockets. Oh poopy. Well, slow-mo is how Professor Volce wants it and Susan and Reilynn were the only ones left still building. They ought to be finishing up soon.
"You're pretty good at this, Susan. Do you like building things?" Reilynn asked her. Reilynn was good at a lot of things. Talking, treasure hunting, magic flinging, and all the other useless abilities that usually don't help people in life. And so that just meant that building was not really one of Reilynn's strong points.
((Sorry if I locked your character. D; If I do it again, feel free to ditch my characters. ^^ )) "...I'm a pretty darn good treasure hunter!"

Susan Chang Susan looked at Reilynn and saw her attempting what she had told her, at least she was being careful now with the pieces. "Yeah, I like to build stuff, me and my grand daddy always used to build stuff when I was with them" Susan said to Reilynn and smiled.
Susan took a look around the classrooms, they were the only ones who were buliding still. To get a move of things Susan started fitting pieces together, so she could just put it onto the base once Reilynn was done sticking the wings of the base on. "If you need any help, just let me know, okay?" Susan said to Reilynn and got back to working on the rest of the rocket.
(( Nah thats fine, helps get a move on alot quicker ))

"You know, I'm not much of a fighter, but..." There! Done! That took absolutely forever! Really. It was annoying. Just annoying. Stupid hand built stuff. Reilynn almost killed trying to be patient. "There I finished! I think that's the last part of our rocket! And I think tomorrow, we'll be shooting at the moon. You think we're shooting at the moon?" Reilynn asked. After all, she forgot what the teacher said when he was talking about the project. She just wanted to build the rocket first before thinking about where she was shooting it and why.
And maybe she'll make a second rocket just in case. Except the second rocket will be made her way. With magic! She'll make sure it'll be the greatest second rocket ever! She glanced at the broken pieces of the rocket she completely ruined and grinned mischievously.
"Alright! I think I'll build a second rocket! Since it's just a second rocket, we'll do it my way! With magic!" Reilynn laughed as she pulled out her paintbrush. "Besides, we finished our first rocket so it should be fine if we use magic to make the second one, right?" "...I'm a pretty darn good treasure hunter!"

Susan Chang 'Finally done.. and nothing was broken' Susan thought to herself with relief. She heard Reilynn talking about shooting to the moon and building a second rocket. "If this were a real life size rocket, we could take it to the moon.. and second rocket?" Susan said the bit her bottom lip nervously.
What if Professor Volce doesn't like their rocket? Would they have put the effort in for no reason? Susan examined the rocket one last time, it looked good. Everything was were it was suppose to be, and nothing was broken. Susan took a deep sigh of relief. Susan flinched at the sound of Reilynn's squeak about the second rocket and using magic.

Silveril Volce ________________________Well, Silveril didn't see anything wrong with Reilynn using magic. As long as the first one was hand built. "Thank you for helping Reilynn with her rocket, Susan." Silveril said. He had been worried that he would have had to build the rocket for Reilynn because if he had tried to guide her without doing anything, they'd probably have to go through five boxes of models.
"And I don't see anything wrong with making a rocket from magic. Just make sure not to use that for your experimental rocket since magic tends to skew the laws of physics. I have work to do in the library so I'll leave the two of you in my classroom." Silveril said. He trusted that with a sensible person like Susan, Reilynn wouldn't completely destroy the classroom.
"I shall be going now." Silveril said.

"You know, I'm not much of a fighter, but..." Alright! Professor Volce was gone! They got the whole classroom to themselves.
"Yeah! We're overachievers so we have to make a second rocket of course! Let's see if I can pull this off." Reilynn said as she waved her paint brush for a bit trying to warm up her paint brush arm. "Building with my hands is such a bore, so build yourself to something more! A rocket is the eye's desire, let's get to it and prepare for fire!"
Reilynn waved her paint brush at the broken bits of rocket and there was a big explosive sound in the room and an excessive amount of smoke. Reilynn coughed violently as she waved the smoke away and on the table stood a magnificent rocket.
"And there you have it! An awesome second rocket an it even has neat designs! What do you think?" Reilynn said with a grin as she crossed her arms, fairly proud of herself. "...I'm a pretty darn good treasure hunter!"
