SUMMARY THUS FAR
Everyone explored rooms. They found everything from pokemon to mysterious rocks. Then, someone finally found a door that looked like it could lead to the stairs - it had a "STAIRS" sign next to it after all. It required ten rocks to be placed in the indents lining the door though.
When all 10 rocks were placed in the door, it finally opened to reveal a spiral staircase. Looks like that's the only way up. Might as well start climbing

Cara carefully eyed the staircase. She watched as it appeared from nowhere and looked at the others. "Well...I guess there's nowhere else to go but up." Dante nodded his head, still slightly damp from the soaking he received from his bathroom encounters. Cara heard a slight squishing sound as they walked up the stairs, when she looked down, she saw Dante's wet paws. "I really wish we had kicked that tentacool's butt more thoroughly..." Dante nodded and shook more of the water off of himself...the only thing that was going to take care of all the water was a towel and a self-cleaning.

 When the door swung open, Anise looked up it, a bit nervous. This was the only way nobody had gone yet, and it stood to reason that it would lead to Jirachi. But what would happen when they found the pokemon? And What other strange things would they encounter before they got there? This mansion seemed to be full of the unexpected. Cautiously she began to climb the stairs.

Ren was ready for this. Ready to find Jirachi, ready to go home. He climbed the staircases with the rest of the people, holding his Rattata close to his chest.

Ice Jack looked at the stair case and sighed. "Uh... yay, climbing... looks like, 1000 steps!" He sighed and started taking steps up the stairs, as quick as he could. He wondered where this was going to lead to, the exit maybe?

 So, the path to Jirachi was open at last - or at least that was what Cygnus had heard from the chatter of the other trainers. He and Ariel had cautiously made their way with the others through the hallway where they'd encountered the Volcarona. It seemed to be gone, now, and past where it had stood guard was an open doorway. Ariel chirped as they passed through, sending the vague psychic message that a step up was imminent. And another, and another, and another... The Espeon couldn't tell him how long it went on, but Cygnus kept climbing.

Then again...that last thought seemed kind of mean. But that tentacool did seem to have it out for her poor Dante. Cara looked at the Persian who was steadily climbing the staircase that appeared, at this point, to be leading them nowhere. "I shouldn't be wishing bad things towards tentacool...I wouldnt feel all that nice to people if I was trapped in a toilet either..." She mused out loud.

Tygress had spent much of her time in the basement reasuring Peanut, Eden and herself and indroducing Precious the joltik. She probably dozed part of the time as well because next thing she knew there was loads of noise as the other trainers explored the mansion and finally found the stairs leading up. With her luxio and eevee on either side of her, and her new joltik in its pokeball, the watcher joined the others.
"Well we were told Jirachi would be at the top, so I guess it's up we go!" she said. Peanut proceeded her trainer and Eden jumped into Tyg's arms not as comfortable on stairs as the larger feline. They began to climb onward and upward...

"I wonder how high up Jirachi is..." Cara slightly muttered outloud. Dante gave Cara a look. Cara was also wondering where her two exploration companions had gotten off to.

Man, the stairs are really long. The mansion did look pretty big, but was the top floor that high up?
Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't.

 Vincent 900 HP Alexa began climbing the stairs but was quickly overcome by Vincent. "Vince....." was all she got out before the canine pokemon grabbed her hat. She grumbled at him but kept walking. There was no point in playing this game with him. Soon he began whining and dropped her hat in front of her covered in drool. She picked it up and shoved it in her bag. "Thanks a lot." She then spotted Anise, "Hey Anise! Is it just me or do these stairs seem to just go on and on?" Pokemon not in use: Apolla 300 HP Archie 300 HP

Cara soon realized that as they went up, they appeared to be going nowhere, and fast. How high must we be?! I don't remember the house being his big... She then noticed a girl nearby with a Luxio, holding an eevee. She recognized her as one of the people who had caught one of the joltiks when they first arrived. "Excuse me," Cara said, walking over to the girl, "do you happen to know if the mansion was THIS big in your explorations? I mean..it seems like we're going nowhere or like we've been going up forever, like some endless loop. I mean, if I didnt know any better, I'd swear we were stuck in a trap made by a mismagius or gengar."

 There was commotion. People were migrating toward a door, where a passage had been seemingly unlocked. Lore shot a glance at her Breloom, making sure they were prepared. "Let's go," she said with the start of a grin, eager despite herself to find out more about this nightmare. She clipped her newly caught Joltik's pokéball to the belt of her shorts and trod onwards with the other people and their pokémon. She spotted an espeon. Psychic types... might know something more about what's going on. However, they might not always be able to communicate with humans. Lore wove her way into the crowd to catch up to its trainer, hopeful. "Hey, sorry to bother you, I saw you have an Espeon. Do you understand what's going on?" She asked. Donut - Potatobi

(Poster above me iiiiis...) Anise turned to the person climbing nearest to her and said, "How long have we been climbing? It seems like several minutes, and there's no sign of the end yet. How could any building be this big?" She though a moment, then added, "Though this is a really weird place, wherever it is. Maybe we're still in the dream world? Stuff doesn't have to follow reality's rules in dreams."
