That was a bad idea. As soon as she was in the pit, a whoosh could be heard as a guist of air blew her out, hitting her into the ceiling. Hel takes -1 HP

Bad idea was right.
One minute Hel was out of sight, the next minute she was ricocheting off of the ceiling. The reaper landed back on the ground with a loud thud, and lay in a crumpled heap before pushing herself back to her feet. She dusted off her apron and sleeves and crossed her arms, looking sour. Lame.

The ear scratching came with a light content whimper as Mitsu leaned her head toward the attention. Not sure what Hel had in mind, Mitsu watched the Valkyrie as she stepped away and over to the pit and looked down into it. She hadn't expected the winged reaper to jump in and immediately headed over as Hel was thrown back out of the pit with force. " Hel, are you okay?" Mitsu's face came in close to nudge the Valkyrie to make sure she was alright before she looked back at their surroundings. So far it seemed they had one pit that when things were placed into it there was no reaction, and one that....came with surprises. But there was one block that hadn't been pushed in yet. " Maybe we should try the other block and move it into the first pit?" Mitsu suggested. Allowing the others to rest Mitsu went about doing it on her own, using a paw to reset the lever to put everything back to the way it was and moving to the newly reset block at a3 and pushed it into the pit of d6.

Shun gave Hel a bit of a dirty look as she offered to play ball with Mitsu if she helped push. Was this.. kind of demeaning to do to her? Granted she was in wolf form, but should they really be treating her like a puppy? He really wasn't sure.
While the others pushed things along, he leaned against one of the walls, staring at the blocks and pits. He was trying to figure out if there was a way to get a block into that one pit between the other two.

[[ENTERING FROM HORSEMEN HUB]]
It was time for an interruption in the room. The door opened and two figures stepped through it. Perhaps for the worse, as one of them gave the scene at hand a long look over, his lips tightening slightly as he noted the five beings present. No white coats there. Those godforsaken white coats. They were perhaps less godforsaken than the horsemen themselves were, but none the less, it was a sight that brought a certain amount of disgust to Invictus.
He watched the puzzle at hand with almost a grimace to his expression. It almost seemed to be.. simple to Conquest what was happening, but..he wouldn't step in. They hadn't entered the house to work over simple puzzles like this - though Invictus likely would have just cheated with the entire thing instead of solving it properly. They'd come looking for those they sought out to destroy, and this room gave them none of that.
"Well, it seems we may have made the wrong choice for pursuing our prey, Eris." Invictus said, perhaps slightly amused by the fact they'd managed to get themselves smack-dab in the middle of a group of students. Or perhaps they were things pretending to be students. The hunters were very tricky individuals, after all.
He looked over the group with a sort of scorn to his expression.
If Invictus was to be the one keeping Eris from burning down the house, who would it be watching Conquest to prevent him from destroying everything himself? Gravity did have a way of bringing things down, after all.

While waiting and thinking things through, two individuals suddenly dropped in. Literally. Alarmed from the rather abrupt arrival, Shun pushed himself away from the wall and summoned his daggers. It didn't help that the male ended up mentioning 'prey'. Didn't Bul call the humans, hunters?
Wait. These two looked vaguely familiar. The horsemen? Maybe? He wasn't completely certain right now. So, he didn't relax as a result. It was possible they were not quite what they seemed too for that matter.
"What are you doing here?"

(Entering from the clocktower with Invictus~)
From the very start, it seemed things weren't going to go well for the horsemen.
The first thing was the room they had entered itself. The heir of War hadn't bothered to see where she was going... in fact, she wasn't quite sure you could see through the doors -- she certainly hadn't waited long enough to find out if you could, being far too intent on finding and systematically SQUASHING a few dozen hunters. The room itself hadn't even crossed her mind. But within the first few seconds of flying through the door, Eris quickly found that she didn't have room for flight. More than that, the room far too cramped for her to even hover. And from that point on, things just started to go down hill.
Snapping her wings quickly closed, the horseman landed just in front of Invictus, her heels making a soft clicking sound as they touched the ground. Almost immediately, her mood soured further than it had before they'd left, her eyebrows knitting together a bit, full lips mirroring Conquest's as she pursed them together in irritation, and although not for the same reason, it wouldn't take long. Where there wasn't much room to fly, the same principle applied to places to look -- within a few minutes, warm brown eyes had already slid over every inch of their new location, and with each passing moment they narrowed further and further. Unlike Invictus, however, she did not pause to take in the Amityville students who currently seemed preoccupied by something-she-was-sure-she-didn't-care about. It was not until her companion spoke up at all that she finally flicked her eyes back to the group, her stare becoming piercing.
"I think..." she started in a low, silky tone, the slightest edge like a razorblade to her voice, "... you may be right, dear Invictus."
To anyone else, it might have sounded like mild irritation. To Invictus, the use of his full name was a sign of murderous intent.
And Shun had unknowing volunteered himself as a target.
The reaper's voice drew Eris' attention as effectively as if he had screamed. In that second, her eyes widened again, wider than they should have been, pupils blown wide as she stared, looking him over as if he were a human in halloweentown. Jerking one arm up, she snapped her fingers, a tiny flame suddenly flaring to set a corner of his jacket on fire. Overall, a seemingly harmless gesture, even with the fire -- it certainly wasn't enough to do more than startle, especially if patted out quickly -- but it seemed enough of a vent to settle War enough to pacify her for the time being. Flashing him a little smile, (as if she hadn't just threatened to burn his hair off,) she folded her arms loosely just beneath her bosom, tilting her head a little.
"What are you doing here?"

It had been a long time since anybody had used his full name - or rather, since any of the horsewomen had. He had grown used to their endearing nicknames for him. Pesty. Connie. Vicky. Certainly not the 'manliest' nicknames, but he'd come to give up on asserting anything like that - or feeling like he had to. Simply the fact his name had been used had sent a small alarm off in Conquest's mind, looking to Eris.
"Would you like to keep moving, then?" he inquired. It was dangerous to press the anger of any of the horsewomen, especially as they lost their mind and dabbled into insanity with their actions. Conquest did not fear any of them - their power and wrath was beautiful. He was as safe as any individual would ever be from them. He'd still assert such even if he was set ablaze by one of them. That was simply how it was.
However, it seemed their small discussion was to be interrupted by one of the little children playing in the room. Invictus looked to him, his 'freak' eye seeming to take in everything as it looked the reaper over. Even as he was set ablaze, the horseman didn't flinch.
"You are foolish to draw a weapon on a Horseman." he said calmly. Invictus responded in a similar manner to Eris when Shun spoke out against them, raising his hand. Gravity seemed to suddenly multiply in force, pulling down. Not enough to crush, but enough to send one to their knees. Conquest did not accept bullshit.

It might not have been the smartest idea, no. But he felt he couldn't be too cautious when it could have been humans who dropped down onto them. Shun could see this wasn't the case now in the least. Letting out a low curse as a part of his jacket suddenly ignited, he quickly patted it down before it could spread any further. The next thing he knew was that he was feeling an incredible force pulling him down. Or perhaps it was more like a great weight was just placed upon him.
Though he tried to fight it, he ended up dropping down onto one knee, effectively being forced to bow down to the male. It wasn't a notion he particularly appreciated.
"Working to get through this room so we could move on," he hissed to the woman before speaking to the other through his teeth, "I would be more of a fool to not be battle-ready should it have been those humans to drop in on us instead."

As Riyo silently watched her other teammates move blocks in a rather unamused fashion, she found it proper to have a seat... Since there was apparently no use for her right now.
... Or in any of the rooms, really.
Huh.
Ah, well. Not her problem. But wait. "Hey." The feline started, trying to get her team's attention. "What if it's not where they go, but... Who's..."
When the horsemen walked in, her sentence came to a screeching halt, and her eyes widened at the prospect of being ambushed by what everybody was now calling hunters. Were these hunters? She had never seen them, and yet... They didn't have those strange weapons. For a minute, she was relieved because of that.
Of course, you can only be so relieved when someone walks in practically burning holes into your body with their st- Op, look at that. Shun was on fire. What a perfect figure of speech.
Had that man... Just said they were horsemen? Oh. Oh s**t. The horsemen were here, and they were pissed. Inwardly Riyo cringed. What to do, what to do? "Is there something we can do for you?" The ghoul piped up without flinching towards Shun's current... Situation. Keeping a civil, calm, and pleasant tone would hopefully help them in this little quandary.

“…Ah…I’m fine…” Hel murmured to Mitsu, reaching out to pat the ghoul’s nose briefly and reassuringly. The ghoul gave a nod of her head in agreement, and took another moment to relax while she watched the Lycan push a different block into a different hole. It seemed they were about to have something else to worry about though…
The appearance of two new beings in the room immediately had the valkyrie on guard, and Hel shifted into a defensive stance, her fists raised. She couldn’t summon her weapon in these narrow halls, much less swing it effectively…Jack damn it.
Her eyes narrowed as she regarded Eris and Invictus, taking a moment to decide whether they had any part of those false reapers…but it seemed they didn’t. Still, it wasn’t a very welcoming thought, as they seemed to be hassling Shun now instead. Horsemen, huh? The ghoul could sense the power that radiated off of these two and it left her with a feeling of frustration. First the false reapers…now the horsemen…it seemed like there were constant reminders to the students that they weren’t….strong enough. Regardless, Hel probably wasn’t about to help the cause to staying cool and collected and non-offensive like Riyo. She was still in a bad mood and didn’t care if they were Horsemen, that didn’t give them the right to treat Shun like that.
Hel stepped out protectively in front of Shun, standing as tall as she could as she leveled her narrowed gaze at the two. “Cut that out.” She snapped, “If we’re on the same side, than save this treatment for the false reapers.”

If an insane horseman was dangerous, to anger Invictus was far, far worse -- he had no excuses for his behavior but was far less likely to censor his wrath unintentionally. He could deal out as much damage as he felt he was required to in order to get his point across and he would do it without guilt.
The fact that he bore an Area of Effect with his gravity was also to be known and just as he had upon Shun, a clench of his fist brought the area wider than it had been previously - to include the second reaper who found it wise to stand against him and speak out.
"Do not speak of false reapers with me, ghoul. I have fought them more than any petty squabble of yours would measure to." There was a venom in his voice that had not been present in his statements to Eris. There was anger, displeasure. It was quite possible that it was the mention of the humans alone that was angering him, rather than the students in the room themselves. It was made all the worse by the unchanging expression on Conquest's face.
"Your false reapers do not wield this sort of power. Their bodies are frail, they rely on retreat and weaponry to protect themselves.
Do not think we do not know how to handle them."
There was something slightly darker about his expression in that moment, finally pulling his hand away, his fingers relaxing. The gravity of wrath let up.
"Your first rule to surviving them is to not throw yourselves at the situation without assessment. We did not enter this room with weapons. A hunter must summon their weapon to use it, so until that moment you are safe, they likewise are safe against you, however."

Oooh she was treading dangerous water and fast.
When the field of gravity widened to suck her in as well though, she was powerless to stop it. Hel tried resisting, she really did, but much like Shun, her knees buckled under the pressure, and she found herself kneeling to the horseman as well. Hel scowled and gritted her teeth as she stared up at Invictus with a look of loathing. How dare she be put in this kind of position…
The ghoul seethed quietly while the heir to Conquest spoke, her nostrils flaring as she tried to push up against the gravity well but still with no success. So he fought a lot of false reapers, huh? Well, that was good to know, at least! Still, Hel now couldn’t help but wonder, if they truly battled these false reapers multiple times, why weren't they at the tent? Once again, she was most likely not helping herself with what she was about to say. As soon as Invictus released the gravity well, Hel pushed herself back up to her feet immediately, and opened her mouth.
“Not too long ago, many students came together in a field of sorts…a strong hold it seemed of those false reapers…a tent, where they house large machinery and cages to trap our kind.” Hel’s fists clenched. “Many of us made it through a battle field and to the tent…we struggled to free and defend our friends…along side the Soul Harvester…” She shook her head a bit, and then glared at Eris and Invictus both. “Where were you two, in all of this?”

It figured.
It just FIGURED that Hel wouldn't be able to shut up at possibly the most powerful beings they would encounter since the soul harvester (who was at least benevolent). What was she trying to do?! Get them ALL killed?
"HEL. SHUT YOUR ******** MOUTH." Riyo yelled, her eyes filled with both anger and fear. "Do you see that look in their eyes? They will end you. And you know what? If you screw up enough, they might end all of us too! If you want to die, then be my guest and have a hand at it, but I've already done that once tonight and I gotta tell you, I'm not particularly eager to go through it again!"
JEEZ.
Carefully, Riyo shoved herself up off the ground, her tail twitching nervously. "This is the last room. The. Last. Room. Lets just get this done and we can go jump off bridges or set ourselves on fire all we want, okay?"

Hel had soon cut in and ended up in a rather similar position as Shun. He was still trying to fight against the immense gravity well, but it did no good. The fact that he had just been rendered powerless more or less angered him by a fair amount. He kept himself from lashing out, however.
Glancing over at Riyo as she snapped at Hel, he pushed himself back to his feet once he as able to. Dismissing his daggers, he stared at the two horsemen.
"Seeking the Hunters if their appearance here is any indicator," he said while glancing to the Valkyrie, "Though I'd have to wonder why the Soul Harvester's lackey came to us rather than them for the task."
"You mentioned that they are safe from us if they do not have their weapons summoned. Are our attacks really that useless to be able to strike them while they are vulnerable?"
